I love how first signet appeared in the fight is Pardofelis, the second closest person to Mei in the realm (No, despite their relationship IRL, Mei and sim Hua seemed didn't really close as their IRL)
Tbh it makes sense. Hua is very strong and smart, you also know a lot about her, plus you don’t want to tell her about the future. On the other hand you get to know pardo, she’s the weakest chaser and thus doesn’t fight much, and then she’s the informant
Her first signet is the first to appear cause she is the last. If you noticed how the signets appeared. It is from 13th to 3rd then Kevin which is 1st then Elysia which is 2nd in ranking.
It's not about "didn't seem really close", there wasn't much to explore there to begin with. Obviously the focus would be on an unexplored character than one which has remained since the beginning of the game.
I like that this chapter is chapter 31, 13 but in reverse representing elysia and the other flamchasers, their final chapter encompasses all of them in the ‘grand finale’

Kaworu has a special bond with Shinji, who has already been linked to Mei as the replacement in the Eva collab. Kaworu is also originated from Adam, the first angel (but in true myth Adam is the first human in Biblical story) or in this case Elysia is referred to as the Herrscher of Origin.
Maybe this is how HoH vs the rest of FlameChasers would be if they accept Elysia's declaration of war, but it seems Ellie also can use FCs's powers? I think it would also be fun to see Kevin and Elysia 'dancing', but it quite a shame that the last banquet only can be pictured through Mei But, this fight does really looks more like a dance instead of a fight, very beautiful indeed

It was a friendly fight like how the first fight against elysia in chapter one of elysian realm is just a test had elysia actually been trying canonically mei would’ve been 600 feet under or worse (srry if you already knew that and im being annoying)

Your better off reading a condensed summary or a vid on YT explaining it...getting the jist of it is far easier than going through and remembering like 500 CG's and all the little explanations that'll take you HOURS just to get not even halfway done 😂 The ER grind is kinda tedious and all the "clear 5 floors to progress" in ER Ch 1-3 is just annoying and a kinda make immersion funky. At this point, ER ch 1-3 alone has like 250+ text CG's....it basically a whole Manga or 2, with how much reading it takes and how long it is XD

Just my opinion, this battle should just be called a fight, a finall challenge or something similar, not a dance. Battles under any circumstances are always fierce, violent and may inflict injuries regardless of intentions behind, while a dance is gentle and should cause no harm (injuries may still come from accidents, but much less likely). Still the fight is immensely gorgeous tho, can’t deny that

This is probably the happiest fight mei ever fought. Contrast with her fight with kiana which is full of heart broken feeling.
