30 for 30 has some awesome documentaries, but this channel keep getting better and better. He seems to kind of focus on similar things (a lot of cheating scandal content) but continues to put out awesome and unique stuff. I only wish he could upload more videos, but I'm sure that making these videos probably takes a lot more time than I could realize.

As an experienced steroid user I feel absolutely awful for anyone under the age of 25 using anabolics and anyone under 33 using HGH. Do these parents not realize that using HGH makes your organs grown? Do they not understand that once you press that plunger into your rear end your normal testosterone levels are likely to never be naturally the same for life
How to avoid a testosterone deficiency?
@@trolojolo6178 it’s inevitable that as you grow older your body begins to produce less and less natural testosterone. Get your 8 hours of quality sleep every night, eat healthy with protein carbs and fats (a well balanced diet) get plenty of vitamin D or get some from the sun and stay active by exercising and lifting weights.
If you stick to low/moderate doses of testosterone and eventually quit, your natural test production will always start back up. High doses of test with added compounds with the use of a.i. is where you can damage your endocrine system.
I also agree that men shouldn't touch the stuff until they're older

Same! I thought I knew everything but the content he makes does pretty deep and interesting dives and I'm always finding out new things. Man Ryan Braun is such a terrible person! (Not new, but I feel like he got off pretty easy considering how much of an absolute scumbag he is and trying to destroy a piss sample collectors entire life to take some of the heat off of him)
MLB knew all of this was going on. They tried to cover it up then Jose Canseco blew it all open, then they tried to pin it on Barry Bonds then this happened.
It’s always easier to blame an individual for a systemic problem, especially for the system in suspect

Two different PED scandals, one in the early '00s the other in the early '10s.
Canseco was washed by that point in all fairness.
When Braun got busted the Brewers gave every fan a food/merch voucher at every game for the rest of the season. The whole situation was sad, but that was nice of them.

I don’t think Braun’s rep ever fully recovered in Milwaukee. Even as recent as 2017-2019 he was still a very polarizing guy in the community.

Last year Manny Ramirez came to Australia to play for a sydney team. On opening day 8000 showed up (which was a lot more than the normal) He walked onto the field, waved and was never seen again for the entire season.
I rarely watch live baseball but this channel is absolutely incredible. Hands down the best on RUclips.

4:39 I can't say what the valid medical uses of other PED are, but for Human Growth Hormone and synthetic androgens, I wouldn't call the conditions that warrant them rare. HGH is used in many disorders of puberty, as well as to simulate puberty in adolescents who've had to have their pituitary gland taken out previously due to cancer. Indivually each condition is rare, but together they're a good portion of the patients that a pediatric endocrinologist would have. It is also somewhat controversially used to treat idiopathic short statue in adolescents. The controversy comes from a lack of hard definition of what height is disordered and what isn't, but being shorter than what soicety has been designed for puts you at risk for injury in the future. I'm talking like sub 5ft.
Synthetic testerone/androgens are used by transmasc people, as well as by cis men who are not producing enough. In addition to letting one devlop/maintain masculine traits, if you have no sex hormones of one kind or another in your system you are at high risk for osteoporosis. The dangers associated with anabolic steroids are essentially those of testerone *overdose* and do not present when they are used properly.
