How to Remove & Replace Your Apple HomePod Mesh

Had a lot of requests showing how to replace the mesh on the A1639 Apple HomePod...here's how you do it!
Once you have that mesh off, you can even use dyes to color it! I used Rit blue dye for the colored mesh in the thumbnail. Different dyes have different instructions, but for the Rit I folowed the bottle; Wash material with warm soapy water first, then rinse, and put material in bucket with warm (140f) water and mix in dye. Let sit for a few hours, then rinse with cold water and let dry!
ALL of the parts interchange between both color HomePods. All of the parts are compatible with each other!
The only tools you will need to replace your mesh is a pry tool, a t6, and t5 screwdriver! Take your time and feel free to ask any questions in the comments.
