Plus, Micah reacts to season 2 alum Natalie Lee accusing her of not being 'genuine' on the series. 'Love Is Blind' season 4 is streaming now on Netflix.
We met Micah’s real life friends who were just as messy as Irina, which says a lot about her. She basically said ‘I was so absorbed into what I wanted, I didn’t care why other people were hurting.’ That’s a huge reflection of who you are.
Yet, she calls herself an empath 🙄 she behaved which is the exact opposite of an empath.

Micah was nasty and messy without her friends. She thought she had the upper hand on Paul. She sized up his lifestyle, disrespected him and looked at him as a dork. She thought she was better than him and because of that she felt like he was a for sure thing.

*spoiler* After seeing how her mom reacted to Paul’s answer at the altar, the way she blamed and convicted him for a genuine answer made me realize why Micah is the way she is. An only child, obviously spoiled rotten and pacified in every moment in life that should be a learning opportunity instead of teaching her to accept downfalls like an adult. Maybe if you’d raise your daughter to be a better and more nurturing being, a smart and good soul like Paul would have said yes. And then the way Micah’s friend scoffed and celebrated at the fact she got rejected shows how toxic and disingenuous the kind of friends she associated herself with. I don’t think she has a decent, good hearted person in her life which is a reflection of her own self and preferences.

the first thing she said when we saw her was "if nobody likes my insides, I'd be pissed, but yeah that would make so much sense" meaning she knows how she is. plus her real life friends and their interaction also showed us she was portrayed correctly.

Watching her and Irina laughed at someone’s pain was hard to watch. The mean girl vibe was so intense with those two. Because. Deep down they too have their own insecurities whether they admit it or not.

Kudos to Paul for seeing her shortcomings! Paul said early on that he was used to down to earth, hippie-type, outdoorsy girls. Honestly this entire interview seemed like PR damage control, well rehearsed and scripted
That pool party pretty much appears to be telling of her character. It appears that she is a natural flirt but does not understand boundaries. Also, there were quite a few incidents in the dorm that gives the mean girl vibes and she appears to want to be the center of attention or be the most popular girl among the men. Too bad, she has to learn her lesson the hard way.... public scrutiny and publicly being called out. Before coming to the show, am wondering if she had some people or friends called her out on some of her behaviors. Or when they do, how does she respond to those criticisms.

Society is to blame for a lot of this. We validate and reward these people by giving them a level of attention most normal people never have. Even before going on the show girls like Micah and Irina already have large social media followings because we reward people for their looks and not their character. We promote and nurture these kind of negative behaviors. Meanwhile the people who are actually genuinely good human beings go totally unnoticed.

As she said -- she was TRYING TO GET her happy ending. It did not seem like she had genuine intention to open her heart & be vulnerable. She was clearly trying to force things to happen & control the outcome & it failed. Sometimes it's best to let go of trying to control, and just receive love & understand that some things you can't control. Tiffany for example was open but not forceful.

I don’t know Micah, but I do know that she approached Chelsea to apologize after the pool.
We saw some reflection from her during the show. Sometimes we are insensitive or unkind. If we apologize to the people we hurt and make amends and they accept it, then that’s that. It seems like she was doing that DURING the process. But her actions triggered a lot of viewers that she didn’t have the opportunity to apologize to until now (and most won’t believe her anyways).
I get the feeling that she isn’t aware of how bad the mean girl stuff. She seems like the “nice one” out of her friends. Her friends said horrible things and were inappropriate. Her long time friends and Irina…. When you hang out with those people, 1) you are nice in comparison 2) you don’t understand how inappropriate that behavior is.
It seems that she gets excited with the gossip.
Either way, Jackie and Chelsea said mean things about Zach and Tiff didn’t stand up for him. There was a LOT of mean girl behavior on the season and it doesn’t seem like we are falling out the other girls. We HAVE to understand how edit plays a part.
I think Micah fulfills a certain stereotype for many of us that we don’t have peace about. I wish her the best in her journey for growth. I saw her making mistakes, but trying to make amends along the way.
I was triggered watching it too, but I think she is probably a pretty nice person who has some work to do (more than anything evidenced by her very mean friends - her lack of awareness on their behavior is def a place for growth).

Wow, these comments are super harsh. I think she's sincere in taking accountability. I'm 56. Across the board, women my age look back at their early years and talk about being appalled at a multitude of their own behaviors. It's called youth. Growth expands across a lifetime, as it should.

I'm also the mother of a 30 year old, with whom I watch the show as a Mom/daughter bonding activity. If you want a basis for her true character and nature, look at the fierceness with which her Mom embraces her. It's not a shallow relationship.

If this is her state now, I can't imagine how the reunion will go.
She is no where near ready for marriage. Not only is she a narcissistic type mean girl, she’s a drunk and can’t even speak without slurring her words. I have a hard time feeling any ounce of empathy for Micah given she acted the way she acted - this is who she is. I feel empathy for the victims though - Chelsea and Paul in particular. Reflect on why you feel a need to gossip, make others feel bad, laugh at another woman's pain and compete for another's love interest for the sake of winning? Why keep friends who laugh at your pain instead of sharing in your sorrows?

Girl- why she teary like that? No real tears are coming out. The way she immediately just resumes talking like nothing after cleaning her face is just so fake. She just looks so off. Besides, we've seen her friends too and I think we've seen her true character. Even at the alter when she asked Paul to go first. I was like what? Her and Irina do deserve each other and they can save their "apologies"🙄😒
I do not feel bad for her in the least. She was fake & shady from the start, toxic from the drop & is trying to pull some PR stunt with this "feel bad for me" shit so she can get cast on another show in the future. Micah, you solidified your role as the evil person on the show- sit in it, if you wanted to be famous you should have been kinder & not such a nasty human being. actually being so affected by everyone else’s attitudes and moods is the true definition of a empath. Even the mean ones affect empaths and they find themselves acting like them because they are empathizing with their negative feelings. Micah actually genuinely seems to have reflected and not just back tracking where as Irina is a true mean girl. A cold fish.
Of course she’s crying , but we don’t care. Just own it, why do people always say “that’s not me” the friends you have also give mean girl vibes .
She had so much to own up to 😮 she never faced that she could be the villain. Hopefully she can grow from this and can lean to treat people better and finds happiness 🙏

And even though normal girls saw how ugly their personalities were, they were always rewarded by society for being pretty.

Now the world saw how these girls behave behind closed doors, we saw the bullying in real time, we saw the manipulation, playing both sides, etc.

Sort of off topic but has anyone noticed Netflix has the most unflattering lighting? It makes everyone look 10 years older than they are. Isn’t the point of lighting on a tv show/movie to make people look decent?

I think people need to show Micah some grace. I’m the beginning she was playing the game and dating just like everyone else. Of course there would be a little drama. Her true colors started to show a bit once she got the guy and she was actually much nicer. I don’t get bad vibes from Micah at all. The real villain is that mean malicious JACKIE!!!
What do people expect? When you put yourself on TV. They are going to get the comments they don't want. You have to have a thick skin.
on one hand I do feel bad for Micah and she sounds somewhat genuine, but on the other hand what you portray yourself on screen is a reflection of your character. you don't just change that because you saw how people are reacting to you.
