20:09 this means for 3 days, you can do tasks but they will not give stars for the boss (you can still get genomes tho)
also i really hope the fire mod comes back soon

See the thermite scar is sick. I think you can kill the boss 4 times per scar. The second time I took on the boss I used the thermite shotgun and I think it might even be better than the scar.
Yeah these guns are nuts, the damage is INSANE. I'll have to try the shotty next for sure!
The best thing is kiling fox, wolves, and boars add up to the supply points. If I'm not mistaken previously its not counted

Sad thing is that we cannot repair weapons that were modded with incendiary ammo (scar,shotty)

Great Video Doc!! Yessir working on the grinds got 3 more tasks to fight Borealis 2nd time. Gonna take a bit for sure getting the Giomes for blueprints & such. its def fun & takes up some time. Wondering if we getting Christmas update or anything? I did finally get more of my Settlement upgraded Did the van & few of my Merc's. Nice getting by some of those expeditions LOL!! Keep em coming buddy!!
Hahah thanks! Def a grind, but I am also enjoying the daily tasks, good variety so far! I think we will get a Christmas update also, it was on the Roadmap and they have stuck pretty good to it, likely kicks off sometime next season if I had to guess!

I made incendiary shotgun in nomad event it's helpfull it hits 70+ damage per shot

I'm pretty sure the the display is for fish just going by the description of it
But it just takes sm energy to travel back and forth and when ur fairly new or intermediate we dont have much fuel to travel using a chopper, that is my only issue. I generally just put my character and walk and go afk
Yes this is tough for anyone who is not too far, but walking and checking back in is the best way to save energy for sure. All three tasks being close is nice, just have to prepare a bit before heading to your first.
You said you're not a fan of fighting the boars. I wonder if you know the trick with them? When they charge you if they run into an obstacle they go into a stun (similar to the blind one in bunker alfa when he runs into the wall) and you can hit the boars for 3x the damage saving your weapon durability and killing them faster
Yes I know the trick, compared to the northern deer who can be sneak one shot with a torch and Dire Wolves at the Oak location, I still don't think its a good use of your resources to kill the boars. If you have plenty of slashers and resources to make Flare Guns, by all means, but for most players, I dont see the value when there are better options

They have done it already for the Winter event last year, not sure when / if it will come to stay though. Here's to hoping!

Does anyone know if you can have two fridges at the base? I have one already and would hate to get another only to then not be able to place it down at the base..
I don't think we can place 2 of them but u can always get all the other items first and then keep getting those puppies instead of getting the fridge
Not 100% sure but my guess would be yes. You were able to get 2 Med Cabinets, so I think this would fall in the same boat.

Bro i killed Borealis again with less than 2 Flare guns. You might start to freeze at the end a little but the dmg isnt insane you only need to hide behind a barrel and keep shooting. Even a barrel that already exploded works.
Yeah Flare guns def work fine, you take more damage in general but its totally viable. Its also totally viable to melt the boss with Incendiary weapons LOL

Not available currently it was a while ago in the nomads event
2023 Winter of Despair event was the only chance. Hoping it makes a return for this years event as well, but we will have to wait and see.

What mod, incendiary? It was given during the event and craftable on a special bench just like Forlorn fair. It’s not in the game currebtly
