they removed 3 zones plus nerf axe durability without changing ash trees from 8 hits, for a boss fight and cold zones we already had 😂we need a actual update
I agree that the waiting time after killing the boss is ridiculous. It’s already such a long grind and I was fine with it. But then I realized the timer after I killed borealis for a second time. Such a bummer tbh. I hope they’d decrease it to like 12 hours.

No other location requires 5 days to unlock either, a 12 hour cooldown is more than reasonable
Yeah we are totally not cool with 3 days to refresh the zone again
1 boss, 1 box but yeah kefir we need 3 days to complete the zone...if only quests were taken into account during the timer, well, why not, but they aren't. It makes the whole new content bitter...
So many easy, simple fixes to this reset that would help so much.

Hey Doc Great Video! I agree the cool down thing stinks! Maybe the devs will lower the time for us. To me it seems like it takes forever to get the reset/new tasks. loving the update just few things that Imo should be changed. Be nice to see a rework of some of our craftables some are just unrealistic for what they take to build things. I think it will take long time to get even a few of the new items with the way they have it setup. I've been running into lot of AI with bows most of the time they don't drop items other than backpacks Haha! Keep em coming brother!

I just dont think the added reset period is needed, 5 days of tasks seems fine enough.
I don't mind the cool down period. Gives me time to catch up doing Bunker Alpha and other locations. All I've been doing is the new locations.

I agree with Borealis reset, originally I wanted to get the bf saddlebag and the repair stn. We have the same amt of genomes. I dont know if I can save enuf for both of my gifts before everything shuts down.

During my run in the north for one of the daily tasks I ran into Wendigo in the red zone. I am guessing this is the north version of the Big One. Anyone else run into him?

@@AGGExtra-wi5mqI had a mission in the north where I had to kill the wendigo. It isn’t all that special, it’s just a weaker witch that heals itself with every hit.
I saw a video of someone fighting it no loot no reward. it heals on hits and has ice armor. it's a waste ATM just run do not fight
just get into melee range with the boss and run around him while u shoot him. he wont use that rock throwing skill if u do
First I am going buy fridge. And then I am going buy repair bench last .
Unless u a are a content creator. First to buy is the dog bakcpack for extra slot. Then storage blueprint. Repair bench should be last.

Any of the storages are great, makes sense. I do think the repair bench will be helpful, just such a long grind
@@AGGExtra-wi5mqAs far as I am aware of, if you already have a fridge from S16, you can buy another one and have 2 fridges. It doesn't say that I have reached limit on the fridge unlike other buildings (warehouse, etc) so yeah
The reset timer doesn’t bother me as much as not having the gas can blueprints for the hammer in the store it was a no brainer come on.
The timer is kinda stupid. But kefir is notorious for stalling so hopefully it buys them some time to finish the suburbs LOL
Glass half-full kind of look, I like it. I do hope we get suburbs sooner rather than later
I don’t agree, I think that for most players, the fact that you get three days where you can’t fight the boss and do tasks keeps you in touch with the rest of the game. LDOE is already such a slow and long game that adding an extra timer for something isn’t too bad and it means everyone can progress at the same rate (even if you aren’t a content creator who can spend 10 hours on the game a day). Also, no point in updating the game just for people to be 24/7 in the new region. Matter fact, I don’t understand why so many people are complaining about this when we’ve all been begging for an update for so long… this is a good update. Otherwise i love the videos, excited to see more about your progression and whats to come for the game we all love.
Understandable points. I will note that my issue is not with the 5 days of tasks, but that this reset timer of 3 days isnt needed for anything. Other locations having a 3 day reset or something similar is intended to allow multiple trips while also time gating their rewards, which in the essence of this game makes sense. You already have a 5 day reset for this location for the daily tasks, why add 3 more when this is already the longest location reset? And, unless you die, multiple trips to this location are unnecessary, there is nothing else to do. On the point of progression, everyone being equal doesn't matter, this is a single player game. In addition, they have monetized the ability to speed it up, so anyone willing to spend money will also outpace those that don't. I appreciate the comment and feedback and glad for some players its not a hinderance to the new content, I just hope everyone continues to be excited enough to play daily and unlock some of this new content, as I fear many will not.
thankfully after the 3 days timer refreshes, u only need to grind stars for 5 days, so phew...no increase

I got dailies during the 3 Day cooldown. I don't know if I got stars for the boss, but I definitely got dailies
I'm going to know in about 20h if they counted for the boss or not
but if they don't count during cooldown, do the tasks on the last day after the cooldown so it will only be 2 more days without stars and not 3 Days
btw nearly everything in the store is devisable by 450 if you can't do the boss every 5 days but only every 7 days you get 510 for each boss kill about 73 Points every day instead of 90 and the division by 450 in the store wouldn't make sense
The dailies do not count towards the 15 tasks during the cool down period.
I also noticed that when you missed one day of the daily tasks you will also lose your progress 😢

Yea but no it heals about 5% of cold
It does reduce the cold, but is not even close to as effective as Berry Tincture. The difference is that the tincture gives you 60 seconds of additional cold protection, raising your total cold protection in that period by 5.

Unrelated to the video, have you had any problems clearing expeditions in destroyed station?, I've been literally stuck in the 26th stage not cus i can't do it, I've done it many times, but because at the end of the stage when i blow up the explosive zombie and kill all the zombies, it just says defeat, and no i had enough time and mercenaries left, i even have it recorded, can you bring some attention to this matter please?😢 🙏
Maybe u blew urself up. I'm on that stage too but I haven't been able to clear last wave yet

Bro theres a boss cooldown but we can still do the daily quests. Soo i dont think the cooldown really matters cause it takes 5 days to fight the boss anyways.
When the boss is on cooldown. De daily point don't count. So after cooldown de daily reset and you begin on 0 points again.
I dont think you do your math correctly. Because of the 3days cooldown instead of clearing the boss every 5 days now its 8days

No offense but i don't understand why players complain about new permanent content then want to rush it. Why not just enjoy the content, faster you finish it faster it will lead to complaining again right? Not saying you personally because I have seen this complaint from many players now...

@@JimmyJuelz it's kinda too slow since any kind of hype from the update dies off faster. Or at least they should be more transparent with the way it works so our expectations are met properly. In the current state, grinding for 2 months or so every day just to have the luxury to repair my equipment is kinda a lot. You can treat this somewhat like another ATV grind but I have basically everything in the game to get, all mods unlocked, got a TF (very recently actually), all vehicles, shid ton of guns, done basically everything else except drone and dragunov mods...
I just expected the update to be a bit better, the removal of certain aspects also is quite bad.
I'm not sure if you understand what I mean with this, the game is also not in a good state right now. Lack of actual updates, poor events and bad communication has caused a steep decline in player numbers. This is why the Devs need to make good updates to upkeep the game. With this, they are clearly trying to make content for at least another 6 months, indicating that they aren't going to make any big updates till then.
@@Hagurmert that is kinda my point though. Who determines what is a "good" update? I feel sorry for the devs because it is impossible to please everyone. People will always find something to complain about so whom should they listen to? this is new permanent content with many different things to explore what players have been asking for, yet still complaints. My question would be "what can they do to make all players happy"?? is it even possible
My complaint is not about the content, I think the content in the Genome store is AWESOME. Having storages available to everyone, new mods, skins, puppies, plus the upgraded workbenches is SO SICK. I actually really enjoy the variety of the daily tasks, so much of this update is great. My argument is that the additional 3 day reset period serves no purpose, for any player. This location already has the longest reset of any in the game, 5 days of tasks to unlock it, so adding 3 more while not being able to get daily tasks to count during that period just doesn't make sense. It's also not like other locations that reset. You are not traveling there more than once (unless you die) since there is nothing else to do. Locations like Port, Bunkers, etc at least require a few runs to get all rewards, and also have way more to do per reset than fight one boss. With the reset period being unnecessary, plus how the Genomes are awarded and how many it takes to get the new items, my fear is that this additional reset is going to be too much of a de-incentive for most average players. It also makes no sense in their game model for monetization, since you cannot skip it with the paid reset. There are a few ways to easily fix this portion that would not negatively impact any of the new content.
