Shoot bots with no aim assist in private match for 10-15 minutes, and change the health to 150. It has improved my aim alot and you can also use most tips while in private match, center and pre-aim common spots, play good maps like Embassy , and mess with your settings, I recently switched to 6-6 .85 and it feels incredible. Good luck everyone
i wouldn’t recommend increasing hp, a big skill to master is understanding exactly how many bullets you need to fire in any engagement so that you can be turning as you’ve fired your last bullet guaranteeing that kill and potentially another as you get pinched
So I adjusted my settings a few times and couldn’t find the sweet spot for me. So I ran a private match with lower settings 5/5 and .85 with no aim assist for 45min. Then bumped it up to 7/7 and kept it at .85 and ran a public match on shipment and it made my game play so much better while keeping centering in mind. I went 71-36. Thank you for this video!
Turned my FOV down, changed my aim assist to black ops, and tried to aim a bit higher and literally in 1 day I went from gold 3 to plat 1. To put it in perspective, I’m literally level 40 and been in gold 3 since like the 2bd week of ranked. THANK U FOR THIS VIDEO. (I’m not trash either, and I mostly solo queue)
Thanks. Great ability to keep it simple. I’m 71 years old and play with son and grandkids. Don’t play as often as I like to, but still fun. My sniper skills r great. Just need to work on my short game.
Just a quick one too, no aim assist practice is great what makes it better is actually having it on for 10/15 minutes of practice so your flicks are extra confident. once you’ve nailed in that quick muscle memory now turn it off. if you start with no aim assist when getting on your shot can end up suffering as your losing speed to compensate for adjusting aim. get the speed up then get accurate. this is my first cod since cod ghosts. i payed halo, destiny and Rs6. and this method is truly the best, tried and tested over various games
If you learn how to hip fire, you'll have insane advantages. I've won so many gun fights by learning how to hip fire at MID RANGE, if you can hip fire while jumping around and sliding then you'll always have the advantage

man ive been trying to do smaller simple thing to further my game as a controller player and I've watched multiple different people and by far you've been the most helpful on the videos I've watched just in the last day. appreciate the help and your work and effort man. its making a difference, keep it up!
Dreamstrike has some excellent content on how to improve. he even gives you drills to run and warm up with to help you improve. Both these guys are top notch for improving your game info.
As a mouse and keyboard player, I have can't go back to controller because the overall control it gives over analog. There's a more twitchy, robotic style that you really have to implement and I'm honestly just having a horribly hard time reverting back to that. That said, learning controller for this game particularly is its own skill to be learned. I don't think too many people would be totally pissed if rotational assist was nerfed a bit though. I'll never knock people for using a tool given to them but we can probably agree it's crazy to watch videos of assist pulling crosshairs multiple feet in any direction. Cheers! Great video man.
I think people forget how very good aim can create a skill gap because most people were focusing more on fast movements and missing shots here and there but since I put a controller in my hands for the first time I testet every sensitivity for months to get te most accuracy . I’m only using one shot or two shot weapons since 2012 and the same sensitivity . I get a around a 60- 70% accuracy . Aim isn’t a skill gap but very good aim is
Bro this guide helped my aim so much. Now my aim is the crispiest it has ever been. First find a sense that you think you will be consistent with. People listen to this dude play bots without aim assist and turn on aim assist after your shot will be so crisp because you're actually forced to be accurate without aim assist. Also center head level, even if you don't hit head shots you could at least hit consistently hit upper body which has a higher multiplyer than lower body.
Good video man. I am 36 and been playing games like COD since before Call of duty lol.... I tried this.. Turning aim assist off for 100 bots, then turned it on for 100... WOW it does feel like it makes it so much easier to abuse the aim assist, wow. Thanks man.
When you get consistent with your aim practice with the bots on mixed difficulty they strafe left and right and drop shot it will feel more like fighting against players
Ive been making it a point to use hipfire accuracy and recoil s priority most of the time I hip fire by the time I aim I've already put 2 to 3 rounds in them and it's just such a good habit to transition between hip fire and ads 50/50 and it's great for having Mobility as well
you can also adjust the size of your centering " Dot" . i have mine on the largest setting. its not a massive improvement, but definitely more identifiable. given the prevalence of "bunny hopping" now being the defacto move, yea, i aim much higher than i used to.

@@Rehtycs When aiming, do you ADS first, then pull the trigger to shoot? Or do you press the ADS and Fire buttons (L1 and R1 on Playstation) at the same time?
one thing I wish you covered was how exactly TO FIND your sensitivity. I struggle a lot when it comes to picking a sensitivity for centering/ movement around the map. I can’t decide on 6-6 or 7-7. 6-6 sometimes feels too slow but 7-7 feels too fast so i am not sure how to exactly figure out what works
I guess he mentioned in the video that you should experiment until you find the right sensitivity for you. Once you find that, you should work on getting comfortable with it to the point where it neither feels too slow or too fast.
Remember if you use 7 7 then have your ads sensitivity to .80 your sensitivity is closer to 5 5 / 6 6 so you can still get good movement and have a nice smooth aim when ads
Advice with those who have stick drift... keep your settings low on horizontal and raise your vertical. ID say 6 to 8 for horizontal and 4 or 5 on vertical
Btw if u play rookie bots u don’t work on ur tracking but flicks are so good. So u need to do veteran bots which means they move around a bit more. Also veteran bots don’t work on FFA so you need to do team death match for them to actually play like veteran
I'm not sure, but I think my AA is broken the reverse way. I've caught people from the side, and to test this I'll aim at them and strafe over them and I just move off of them, while they're moving or not. I've tried all types. I literally get nothing when one on one. It DOES kick in when there is more than one player. It goes crazy and starts pulling me in every direction trying to lock onto somebody. In shipment, for example, I'll aim at someone one on one and I'll die because my aim gets pulled off of them, and then I'll see their teammate run around the corner behind them. It grabs the guy I can't even see, giving the guy in front of me the advantage. Like I said, broken. I'm not new to the game either. Been playing since CoD4. Added note. The bot thing isn't for everyone. It helps you make micro adjustments more accurately, BUT people don't move like bots, even veteran ones. They're constantly strafing and hopping and ducking and running, etc. I actually got worse trying this because I wasn't making the proper adjustments to human movement. I'd jump around a corner to fire, get two hits, then die due to a sprint and turn because I wasn't following the human correctly. I was shooting at them as if they were a bot. I had to turn off the aim assist in a couple of live games, THEN turn it back on to get the feel back. It was very weird. Also, if this method DOES work for you, I'd recommend bumping up the health of those bots to at least 150. Let's be honest. How many 4 shot weapons have actually killed in "4" shots for you, even at close range? This is more realistic and will help keep that aim on target for longer, like you actually need to in game. I wish I was getting the AA like this, though. I've watched and read A LOT of how "broken" and "powerful" it is and I can honestly say, for ME, it is a lot WEAKER than ever. The ONLY time I've seen it be overpowered was when I would grab a sniper off the ground because I was out of ammo and just DESTROY with it. And I am NOT even a decent sniper. But the AA on the ones I've grabbed make me think I'm fucking Pamaj 😂.
