Countries who care give citizens incentives to have children. It's TOO EXPENSIVE to have kids in this country. Yet tbey blame women instead of their policies that created this decline. Things like health care. Maternal leave. Paternal leave. Tax incentives. Education. Child care. Higher education that doesn't bog you down for LIFE in loans you can never pay off. All of these things are how OTHER COUNTRIES support families. We do NONE OF THESE THINGS. This is one gigantic reason to vote for people who will change this MESS. Women's independence isn't the issue. It's the policies we've had in place for decades. Policies they created.

There should never be a life time appointment for positions where it involves actually deciding positions and polices that affects people en masse! And Im also talking across the board! Up and down every level. I think after a certain time has reached (in which age parameters must be set) they should then transition into other roles…perhaps board members, mentors, advisors, etc. We need our elders in our communities for the oral and written histories. We need our elders to guide us and to keep us focused…more importantly we need our elders to NOT be gate keepers. Now of course not all of them will make that list of advisors, board members and such but each can play a vital roll in keeping the village together. Just my thoughts…

The now-retired Police Chief of Alexandria, Mike Ward said "They (police social workers) started solving problems for people in our community and for our agency that we’ve never been able to solve before." they also saved the city $50,000 a year (in a town of only 10,000 people) from not having to hire another police officer.

I'm not a proponent of EV's for the reasons that Karen mentioned, but I think they could be a bridge to something more sustainable and lead to an energy source that can be harvested ethically.

I merely pointed out that due to USA dragging it's feet on the issue the transition will be a lot more painful and must be more measured now. After a lifetime of driving compact cars, I bought a Hyundai Tucson last year because I was tired of not being able to see around all of the SUVs and pickup trucks on the road. I honestly don’t know any other men that drive a SUV, but I would personally feel pretentious driving a truck. I’m an accountant, and the biggest “payload” I’ve ever carried is a big screen TV. Sometimes I feel like I should have a bumper sticker that says “i’m driving my wife’s Tucson because my Silverado is in the shop.” So thank you for poking a little fun at this seemingly unwritten rule. 🙂

1. Mass deportation is a thing I support, especially if they are bleeding resources Americans can't get. The system is the system, and no one should benefit but Americans.
2. Getting away from gas-powered vehicles I'm in favor of, but we can't financially bankrupt Americans in the process because of capitalist shortsighted shareholders' profit profit profit goals. Ev shouldn't be no more than 30,000. We have to release the shackles the oil industry has on America.
3. Black people shouldn't advocate for criminals, being tough on crime, I'm in favor of. You need deterrents for the unruly.

5. Kids shouldn't be making life changing decisions
