They are failing pretty hard, but I think the next best thing is going to be Yujiro's body infused with some legendary fighter from history or some shit like that.

You're going to tell me none of the martial artist super geniuses were able to come up with a counter in a couple hundred years? Miyamoto is one of the most studied fighters of all time, yet somehow every single thing he does surprises people. Musashi has so much plot armor I'm surprised he can even walk around.

still its a swordsman vs grapplers, martial artiest, hand to hand comat. non of which they all don't use weapon. the body is a weapon itself. just take musashi miyamoto blades away. no pretending swords either because he's not really inflicting damage. i really think with his invincible swordsmanship we can actually see whats he made of with only hand to hand combat. no swords!!
I'd say prime doppo would be on par with musashi, considering he was much weaker after the heart surgery, and was somewhat comparable to yuichiro, and maximum tournament yujiro
