      He’s become a much more respectable person these last few years too. I used to not like him but after the losses to Usyk he handled himself like a champ. He had that breakdown in the ring but since then he has acknowledged that Usyk is the better man, now he handles himself with humility and respect which is dangerous. Pride is the enemy of success. Watch out for AJ, he is now in his best era.

      @ArcticDucq 7 месяцев назад

      Far as i see even experts are split 50/50 some call it legal some illegal. Don't tell me you never seen shorts pulled up way above belly button. It can even happen unintentionally its not static they are fighting. I think it was a clear bodyshot mostly because it was a uppercut and Usyk shorts were bit too high. Ref gave him the chance and he milked it i don't think he was out or anything , if ref counted he would get back up for sure.

    • @asdadfafafafffallslsldd8068
      @asdadfafafafffallslsldd8068 7 месяцев назад

      @@ArcticDucq The blow was definitely below the belly button which is illegal. The ref said before the fight to both of them "ANY BLOWS TO BELTLINE OR BELOW ARE ILLEGAL" It's the ref's responsibility to ensure that both fighters have the shorts at the correct position(Which they were on both fighters) It wasn't even unnational. Dubois went low multiple times in that fight and he was low against Miller too. Don Charles is turning him into a dirty fighter and it's definitely a tactic and not unintentional. A lot of people(trainers, pro boxers) debate about the blow, but that doesn't mean it's worth having a debate. People are ignorant and frankly not very smart or just biased. It was a low blow and there's no room to debate that as it's a black or white situation. Blow was bellow bellybutton, agree? An uppercut doesn't justify it. There are pictures you can easily find on google that shows Dubois landing straight rights to the same location too. "Team Usyk call Dubois 'dirty' and claim 'several low blows"

He’s won back a lot of respect from his recent fights, and also, I think he’s already hit rock bottom so it’s not like he could ever get lower again. I think that moment after the Usyk rematch was the worst parts of him coming to the surface. Knowing that he tried his best and still lost and lost his belts. He can probably relax a bit more now cos after Usyk’s fight against Tyson fury, he can feel reassured that Usyk deserves to be at the top.

      Usyk almost lost it.
      I'm yet to see where ppl are saying that Usyk battered Fury, yet AJ gave him a very much harder fight ( in the second fight) than Fury who actually was knocked out.
      In the second fight, AJ and Usyk were in the middle, trading shots throughout. Usyk only got the better of him in the last 3 rounds, and before that, he was actually losing.

    How can it possibly be a legal shot when the ref at the beginning of the fight determines what hes giving as a low blow? Thats the rules, and when the ref says, "i want no punches bellow here" while gesturing with his hand, then that is whats considered a low blow. I think a lot of people (even some professionals by the sound of it) are under the impression the rule is just to protect your private parts, but its much more strict than that. The rules are also in place to protect your small intestines, and all the other softer parts under the stomach. Usyk got hit on the cup, and i like Daniel Dubios but he was aiming low all night, so im guessing he was a little frustrated with usyk, and ended up he took a bit of a chance hoping the ref wouldnt see.

    He is right about sticking it back to the reporter because what he means is that it doesn't matter what he thinks or what anyone thinks: it was a close call and once it happens in the ring it's only up to the referee to decide and his decision is final in a situation like this and there is that. If referee calls a knockdown than Usyk reacts differently, but referee called it a low blow and Usyk was wise to use that to recover (which he should do in that situation regardless if it was a low blow or not).

    The "problem" with this title fight is that the IBF is only available because Usyk doesn't have the time or the inclination to defend it. It does rather devalue the belt.

      Usyk isn’t undisputed anymore. So by your logic, Vitali Klitschko was never WBC world champion for those 8 years because Lennox Lewis beat him, was undisputed and he never beat Lennox did he.

    AJ had a rough time after the first Ruiz fight- and Fury said some awful things about him and the loss. Since that, he won the titles back, then tried to out box Usyk TWICE, and lost. He did have self confidence issues and he should have used his massive physical attributes to try for a KO instead. I believe if they fight again, he may beat Usyk but ONLY if he goes for a KO, because nobody can take his power. In his recent form he fully believes in his chin again and has learned a ton from those 2 Usyk fights. He’s a better boxer now, but still a massive KO puncher. He’s in a good place and he will be a champion for a 3rd time. And I hope he gets Fury and knocks him out, because Joshua really wants to put Fury straight on who’s the best between them. AJ’s record is full of big names and KO wins, far, far better than Fury’s record. Anthony lives the life of a fighter, looks after himself fully, no partying or bad habits, and he deserves every success and support. He’s the best heavyweight we’ve had since lennox Lewis. 👍🇬🇧

    AJ trying to think he is a big man. He did not say that to Usyk.
    He won’t be 3 times Champ. Well he will be but it’s a joke belt now Uysk vacated it.

    Dubois is the sort of guy that will end his career with a few losses but he'll have fought everyone!
    Taking an L and moving on is usually better than a rematch for me. Joyce, AJ and Wilder didnt need to do their latest rematches. Keep moving and circle back for revenge later on. Sometimes a rematch or trilogy makes sense, and obviously they make a lot of money from them - but other times a year or 2 goes by and you've had 2 fights with the same person and got 2 losses.
    Dubois lost to Joyce & Usyk and didnt waste any time just beat a couple more undefeated dudes. Parker lost to Joyce; didn't waste any time, beat Wilder & Zhang instead. The lesson is for rematch clauses to lose the "immediate" part I think.

      Nah he didn't have the WBC title he fought Bert Cooper for the vacant WBO title that'd be similar to AJ being IBO champion it not being recognised as a major world title in the future it gets recognised then we look back say he was actually undisputed just for an example
      It wasn't the "four belt era" then guys like Holyfield and Mike Tyson were never undisputed if we do that but looking back it does appear that he was a 3x champion

    Poor Dubois, he just managed to climb the ladder and now facing AJ for the vacant belt, damn…
    The only thing AJ has to do is Box use his pivot to continuously reset Dubois plus AJ’ defense is better.
    Box Dubois and Fight Usyk, 3 TIME!!! X 3.
