I use bumble BFF and bumble bizz a lot! I love Whitney. And maybe men commenting and interviewing don’t get it but that’s okay, Whitney gets what helps women and created a better dating platform.

Still convinced that bumble is great? If so, could you explain the benefits for male users of this app?

@@IVpeekaboo There is nothing wrong with competition. I also think Bumbles "women have to make the first move" concept is interessting.
But as a man, I cant see any benefit for us using this App. We have less chances to get in contact with women AND also have to pay for it...
Sorry, but its hard for me to understand why men should use this App instead of another one. Especially, because the average man probably has no real chance to become a match, while most women probably fight over a few "high quality" men... The only reason for a man I see, is if he is sexy enough to attact many women. Making his live easier to get a match for a onenightstand...
But thats only how I see it. Maybe you can explain to me why men should use Bumble too. Or what else I am missing about bumbles business concept.
So, what are yout thoughts about bumbles business-concept and where am I wrong?

@@donkalzone6671 If women love this app, men have to love it. Would you rather be on an app where there are less women? I am not saying bumble has more women than Tinder. But just answering your question why would men come here. Men would come here if women come here. Notice the word "if".
If you are an avg man you don't have a real chance for one night stands or hook ups anywhere, be it Tinder or Bumble. So that cannot be used as a negative point against bumble. That does not make Bumble worse than Tinder. What makes you think that as an avg man on Tinder, one has more chance of getting a date? The chances in Tinder are not higher than Bumble. Do you think if you are an avg man on Tinder, somehow you will message the woman first (who has matched with you to begin with, which means she has to like you first even in Tinder), and somehow charm her pants off with messaging first? If he is so good with his words, he can do that in Bumble as well AFTER she messages him.
Since you are looking at business side of things, I am only speculating, anything written in this entire comment is not financial advise. Invest at your own risk.
The benefit of bumble is women definitely feel safer here. They feel in charge (i am not going to argue about whether they like that or not, some do some don't). And it also takes the pressure off men to come up with dumb pick up lines which really never work (avg men will like that). It also shows you how less creative women are with pick up lines themselves. The only two pick up lines out of all the matches I have ever received on Bumble are "Hi" and "Hello". If you really believe in pickup lines from men to work, then bumble should surely be a flop in your opinion.
One more case I have in favor of Bumble is people looking for more stable and longer term relationships come to Bumble whereas Tinder is more for one night stands. As an avg man one has more chances in bumble to end in a good equitable relationship. So more avg men should ideally flock to bumble. Same holds true about avg women as well. Women do not enjoy sleeping around after a point. They also look for more stable long term relationships eventually. If someone told me he/she was looking for a husband or wife on Tinder, I would laugh. Also Bumble as an app is good both both "one night stands" and "long term relationships". It probably is a one stop solution. Unlike Tinder and Match where you need to pay for two different apps. (although both are owned by match group). Also I see a lot more old people on match. Bumble has a good mix of young and old. Tinder is all young.
Now if more avg men / women flock to bumble than tinder, they are also the ones who are more likely to pay for premium subscription. If one lacks the sex appeal, he/she is more likely to compensate by purchasing subscription. If you are really a sexy man/woman there is no real need to pay.
As a company, bumble is still small ~10B ish.
Having said all that, I still don't like bumble for "friendship" and "business" and I don't see much potential in those two areas. Esp. bumble bizz.
CEO of bumble is committed and aggressive. Good leaders find ways to make money.
Overall, marriage is on a decline. Even longer term relationships are marriage-less these days. The court system fucked everything up in the US. The ones who are getting married will get divorced as well. Divorce is incentivized in the US. People will keep dating till they die in my opinion. So that helps both Tinder / Bumble.
One argument in favor of Tinder is that many women do like being messaged first. They do like being pursued. That could encourage them to stay in Tinder. But at the same time, women feel more safe in bumble.
Overall in my opinion both dating apps will flourish but bumble probably has more upside potential. Both apps will have a much larger user base going forward, I feel.
None of this is financial advice. Invest at your own risk. For all you know, I could be totally wrong and Bumble stock might end up going below $20 or $10. Who knows.

Can really a dating company that its product is based on defining women and men according to impulsive instinctive sexual responses get to claim such a high moral ground?

    • @rockwithyou2006
      @rockwithyou2006 3 года назад +4

yes because acting on your instincts (fucking, one night stands) none of this is considered as immoral these days. And its only going to go more in that direction going forward, esp in the western world.
