Lego WW2 - Battle of Carentan

WW2 - June 12, 1944 - Carentan, France - American soldiers of the 101st Airborne Division attempted to capture the German occupied town of Carentan, France, defended by two Fallschirmjäger (paratrooper) battalions. Easy Company of the 506th Infantry Regiment, along with Dog and Fox Companies, attacked Carentan from the north, facing machine gun fire at an intersection at the edge of the town. As US troops moved into the town, they faced artillery shelling and machine gun fire by the rear guard of the German forces. By the end of the day, US soldiers liberated Carentan.

A big thank you to everyone who has supported my channel! I’m really sorry I haven’t posted anything in a while, the past few months have just been so busy. Fortunately, I had a week off from school, so I found some time to make this Lego World War II stop motion for Remembrance Day (unfortunately I couldn’t finish in time to upload on the 11th). I had originally planned to make this video longer (to include the main battle inside the town, and also more Fallschirmjägers), but I didn’t have the time because I also had some schoolwork to do.
