My whole family used to especially watch ARY news whenever there was a special transmission and Kashif Abassi , Arshad Sharif , Sabir shakir and many more journalist would sit together and talk about politics , laugh together on jokes What happy times those were just 5-6 months ago. I cannot get that picture out of my head. In Zalimon ny kya kr dia is mulk ky sath. Today my heart is crying seeing this documentary.

Lost a legend for the sake of some pennies.... Arshad Shareef left the world but alive in people hearts... So much to learn from his life for upcoming journalists and for our young generation... Have read about most heroes in books but actually in my life I saw a real hero in the form of Arshad Shareef... May his soul rest in peace... Ameeen

I wonder what his death taught us to always seek for truth with utmost courage and determination, to fight for it, so that even if you die ,truth never dies. #ArshadSharifShaheed will be remembered. I unliked his shows before but he was bringing documents for everything like the whole program he was reading the papers without any guests in the show. He was a lecturer who teaches the student whether students are enjoying or getting bored. He was fighting for us. We will never forget him. He is the real hero and his story is worth telling to our children. We have seen him with open eyes. We do not know who was Rashid Minhas or Aziz Bhatti because they got martyred before we were born. May Allah shower countless blessings on him and give patience to his family. We all felt this grief deep inside and the situation was like we lost a family member.

We never could forget him 😢. He is in a very high place under Allah SWT’s blessings. May Allah SWT grant his family best protection and comfort.
I never met him but watching and listening his talk shows somehow always made me see that he is a quite, humble, respectful , focused and simple person, I admired him and his work. For the last couple of weeks I was very busy as my mother was in ICU and was away from news, my husband gave me this news in calculated words as he knew how I admired him and also because since death of my own young son I have turned very sensitive to these young deaths. Arshad Shareef assassination is a great loss not only to his friends, family and viewers but to Pakistan as well. May Allah grant him highest place on jannah.

A great Pakistani Journalist 🇵🇰 need to be remembered for at least next 100 years through the continuity of documentries far better than this, in poetry, articles, in every possible means of media, to groom the Pakistani Community.
