The golf courses are of no use to me... But I don't spend half a video complaining that Garmin included them. If you don't like the endurance feature, you don't need to use it. Some people do like it.
Great video. @4:33 you talk about the glitch with that one actiface I've used before. Can you not customize it on your iPhone / Android phone anymore? When I had my Fenix 5X years ago, I could use the phone to edit the 3rd party watch faces, and could not do much on watch itself. It also took forever to sync, as I find garmin connect, sucks despites their watches being amazing. I currently have an Apple Watch series 5, and I'm thinking of getting a Fenix 7X solar sapphire. Now I'm nervous I won't be able to edit / customize my 3rd party watch faces on the 7X.
If you have tattoo on your watch wearing hand.. don't buy a new garmin, before you try, if the wrist heart rate sensor works first :) otherwise u can end up with "a new and improved" sports watch, which you can wear only on your untattood hand.
@@MelbourneExclusive0 i love it. They must have fixed the issues before i got mine. I wear it everyday and get tons of compliments. Well worth the money spent!
@@RT-qz5ci that's great to hear!! So some software updates probably fixed up a lot of people's issues. Do you think it's worth $600 USD today? I found a used one in really good condition
@@MelbourneExclusive0 its worth it. The battery life lasts me weeks. And i use the bluetooth, music, workouts, strobe light sometimes, etc. The only thing i dont like is its too big to sleep with for me. So i dont do sleep tracking anymore like I used to with the Apple Watch
But… If during a run you feel like crap, but the algorithm tells you that you have a lot more in reserve, can’t/won’t that give you a boost? Asking for a friend…
I can’t decide between the G-SHOCK Rangeman or the Fenix 7x. It’ll be predominantly a watch for work (LEO). I’d appreciate your opinion. Cheers mate. PS truly appreciated your video & honest opinions
I’ve had both. If you’re talking about the GPS range man, it cannot compare to the Fenix. If you want a G-shock, get a G-shock. If you want a fitness/GPS watch, get the Fenix hands down every single time
If your in LEO, highly recommend the Rangeman. It provides more functions that you’ll use out in the field than a fitness watch. Also, the durability of the G-shock will be much appreciated with the encounters you’ll have on duty. The original rangeman is all you’ll ever need. The second generation is cool if you hike too, but it’ll save you some bucks, and do practically the same. I own both rangemans.
@@xxHydroponicxx no prb! The watch world can get you caught up in coolness where you can easily overlook functionality in the end! I’ve worn my Rangeman for 6-7 years now with tons of war wounds. I’d highly suggest getting the Japanese version as they come with carbon fiber resin straps. It’s cheaper to buy as a whole then getting them later on.

This video helped me to order the garmin 7x fenix, because if one watch has only this problems, it should be the best watch on this planet.
Touch screen sounds good for maps. That's probably as far as it's use goes during activity.
Its usefull we use while driving?
Ultra marathons, full distance iron distance triathletes, time trialing cyclists, generally, the stamina is beneficial

You have bought a lot of Garmin watches! Looking at your background
Is it worth me upgrading from my Garmin Fenix 6X Pro Solar to the 7X and what are the benefits ?
Did you do it?

After 4 weeks I have decided to return the 7x solar, constantly crash, freeze, rebooting, restarting. So disappointed 😥. Garmin unable to help.
Really disappointed to hear that. Ill be keeping an eye on those things when i get mine.

So if I were to buy one now, really don't care about touch screen is the 6S Sapphire Solar a good bet? I am between that and the VENU
I don't think the additional features are worth the $$. Definitely 6S if you have a smaller wrist.

I spend $1000 for this I hope 🤞 it works for me ., I love the flash light and the battery
So how do you like the 7x Sapphire?
I'm thinking about getting one.

Mine doesnt have turn by turn…. It s fenix 7 x sap
Thanks! I would like to see more of those unsponsored reviews.
Let me ask you the most booring question. What is your wrist size? :)
Thanks! As for wrist, I'm guessing average? Not sure, why?
@@Dirtyoldsneakers Mine is 18cm circumference. I ordered a 7X without trying it on the wrist and now I have the feeling that it may be too big for me.

Can the stamina feature be disabled?
You don’t have to have the screen on so you just don’t see it.
@@Dirtyoldsneakers sweet. I can definitely see that "feature" as being de-motivating, especially on LONG runs.
