Jillian LOVES the flat brush. I tried and tried and tried...not gonna happen for me, I'm afraid. LOL My favorite is the rose with the angle brush. The dagger takes a bit of practice but I LOVE it. The longer the bristles the more I love it. For VERY loose painting. The very first SUCCESSFUL rose I painted, after trying for a year, was with the triangle/wedge/petal brush. Thank you for sharing your art.
Oh gosh I forgot all about that wedge/triangle brush. I have yet to have one that I like using actually. I may get the silver black velvet one that Jillian (Boon) has used in her paintings!
I love Jillian! I was excited to hear you mention her course. I just came across your channel and subbed. I can tell already I'm really going to like it. I hope you show us some Christmas themed work 🙏Thanks for sharing your beautiful painting techniques!
I like the filbert brush rose the best…all around stokes look more realistic. The Neptune line of brushes is very soft and a dagger style brush would be extremely hard to control.
I just love how you paint roses of any kind! I have yet to master them and maybe need to practice more ❤ or maybe like u explore with different brushesaa
I actually loved this and tried it myself with a good result! If I could ask… could you update with rose buds? Maybe this should be a no brainer but I would love to see it ❤😂
Like the like the results from the last 2 brushes the best. Helpful. Love the way you just go for it and dive in. Thank you for your courage to create
You are so welcome Linda! I am always so happy to hear I help people just go for it and dive in too. :)
I liked the 3/4 dagger rose but the leaves with the floppy dagger
Yes me too! that 3/4 inch dagger is so cool to use.
Good day from Texas, USA! Always enjoy watching you paint. Thank you!
G'day! Thanks for being the first ones to watch!
I liked the filbert rose the best. :)
I do like that filbert rose too. Very cute.
Excellent video on these brushes! Thank you!
Glad you like them!

@@crystaltanart I have them ALL!!! LOL
I think the stuff dashed rose is my favourite but the floppy dagger actually have an interesting result too. Thank you.
Stiff dagger not stuff dashed ha ha
Thanks Stella! The floppy dagger seems to have a nice result, but the process of painting was not enjoyable. HAHAHA.
@@stellaball7289 Thank you! I was just trying to figure it out. haha!
Such a beautiful way you teach us 😊
My pleasure 😊
Wonderful video!
Thank you very much!

Thank u Morgen! I will most definitely think about a christmas themed painting in the next couple of weeks!! :)

I do love the filbert too! It's so naturally like petals already I agree. Yes neptune is so hard to control if you like control!
Great video! I also like the stiff dagger rose but I love how you can pick up any of the brushes and make it look easy and beautiful❤️
Thank you Elaine!!! Not the floppy dagger though! I felt uncomfortable and strange trying to paint a rose with that one!
I just love how you paint roses of any kind! I have yet to master them and maybe need to practice more ❤ or maybe like u explore with different brushesaa
Thank u! I don't think one can ever master a rose. But I've been loving your roses lately!
Thanks!
Thank you so much !! XX Appreciate your appreciation.
Hi Crystal
Hi there!
I actually loved this and tried it myself with a good result! If I could ask… could you update with rose buds? Maybe this should be a no brainer but I would love to see it ❤😂
Rose buds wow! That's definitely a challenge! Let me have a think!! Thanks for watching :)
To tell the truth, I think I like the shape of the floppy dagger brush. But it looked a little hard to maneuver it around. Lol
Thanks Sandy! It's definitely not a brush I would use for roses! But maybe like a long leaf.
