Love my Ownboard Carbon AT! My only regret is not paying the extra $100 for both wheels. The AT is great to practice on grass, because grass is much more forgiving then asphalt. FYI if you go with one set of wheel with your board instead of both, you will have to pay $150 vs $100 if order with the board. Get both wheels!!!
I received my AT/GT combo with the new 7" pneumatic wheels today. There were 2 major problems. First, since the 7" wheel has no drive gear bearing (the pulley is mounted directly to the wheel via screws), there were no drive gear pulley bearing washers included. So when I went to switch to the Cloud Wheels, the missing washer makes the gear grind into the motor mount. There should have been a set of 2 washers included for the Cloud Wheel pulley setup. Also the 7" use a different motor cover to make room for the belt and the large pulley. This cover is not enclosed protecting the motor gear like the one in this video, so when changing to the cloud wheels the motor gear is exposed. Basically the board came set up properly for the new 7" setup, but is missing the critical parts that allow the cloud wheels to be used safely. Hope this helps.
@@jday4217 Ownboard did send me out the missing washer and motor covers for the Cloud Wheels. Hey, dear, your weight is not the problem to affect your ride, if that is too flexible for you, you can choose carbon AT, that one is more durable and more stiff
@@ownboardskateboard7341 Is the bamboo version also water resistant? I won't be reading during rain but might on wet pavements, avoiding puddles. Can you recommend a good sealant to add around the battery box?
@@OhFishyFish yes, the bamboo AT version does have a really good water-resistant, even you ride in the rain would be fine, Daniel Kwan does have a video review of this board, maybe you can have a look.
In my opinion you should be able to ride them, more preferably the carbon version, just the top speed and range may be lower than usual because of your weight.
I replied to your other comment with the part number, but here it is again so others can find it easily: Menards 4mm Small Outer Diameter washer: Model Number: 88413 SKU: 2012076 (5 pack, you will use 8, get 2 packs) These have an ever so slightly smaller outer diameter than the ones that came installed on the board, and glide freely through the motor mount channel. A quick alternative would be to sand down the outside edge of the existing washers a bit.

can you fit 85mm wheels? what is the clearance from the truck center to the battery belly?
can you swap out the wheels on the W2? maybe stick some foamies on there?
Very Nice Board :)

Dont buy from ownboard, read the reviews first.

With cloudwheels motors looks very close to the ground, is it possible switch motors position more higher?
It looks like the rear truck would bottom out before the motor...
Is it possible to put other wheels on Ownboard like foamies from slick revolution?

How set in stone is the weight limit on this board? This is my ideal board, but I’m about 50 lbs over the limit as stated on the product page.
