@@CatholicProductions Thank you so much for answering! An issue that is really worrying me a lot is a growing group within the American Church saying that Pope Francis is a heretic or that the Vatican is no longer Catholic. I keep debating brothers and sisters that follow people like Taylor Marshall or channels like the Vortex in order to persuade them that they have an overly ideological understanding of the Church's doctrine. I don't know if it serves any higher purpose, but let's call it a vocation of mine. Your videos have helped me a lot. I'm really grateful for your work.

@@RinaldoDegliAlbizzi I completely understand what your talking about. I do watch Taylor Marshall and a few others because they do have good content sometimes. I don't watch the Vortex, Tim Gorden, and a few like them because they are angry and argumenitive. I agree that it's helping no one when they attack the pope, Bishop Barron, Catholic Answers, etc...we are all Catholics..why turn on our own! The pope has free will and can have his opinions on life, that we don't have to agree with...but it doesn't make him heretical! The only time it matters is when he is speaking infallibly..which isn't often..and when he does..i stand with him! I also make unpopular comments on these channels..I doubt they are listening to me! God bless my friend..stay true to the words of Jesus..and love one another, as He has loved us! 🌷

One other quick thing I should add to that...
I don't like how they are putting a division within the church with the Latin mass vs. Novus Ordo! Both are excepted by the church, and no one should have to feel bad or wrong for which one they choose! I am somewhat of a traditional Catholic..I think it comes from my childhood..but I go to the Novus Ordo mass. I was just a baby when Vatican ll happened..and the mass didn't change till, I think the later 70's...so veiling was something I grew up with..but because of my age..I just transitioned into the new mass without even realizing it..or why. I do remember saying Holy Gost vs. Holy Spirit...or the response "also with you" vs. "And with your spirit"
My only gripe is, that I do think in both masses we should be receiving our Lord in Communion, on our knees! Ok...I'm done..I think..ha! Sorry these comments are so long!

Your adversary the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking some one to devour. 9 Resist him, firm in your faith, knowing that the same experience of suffering is required of your brotherhood throughout the world. 10 And after you have suffered a little while, the God of all grace, who has called you to his eternal glory in Christ, will himself restore, establish, and strengthen you. 11 To him be the dominion for ever and ever. Clergy - bishop, priest, & deacon are mentioned in the NT. Jesus is even referred to as the Shepherd & Bishop/Guardian of our souls.
According to 1 Cor 12, it gives a description of the functions of various members of the Body of Christ. There is in fact the laity - the priesthood of believers, & then there is the ministerial priesthood. Frankly I've never understood why this is such an issue for many Protestants considering that they model their own ministries after it: pastor/minister/servant leader; assistant pastor(s) in various capacities within the church; elders/deacons who serve the church in ways that allow the leaders to focus on leading & teaching. They may alter the title somewhat at times, but generally they function in similar ways.

Brant, what I find Protestants accusing Catholics of about is in reference to the sacrifice ((Holy Eucharist)(same format at mass) and saying we pray in vain repetition, citing a passage in scripture that states, they think that just by numbers their prayers will be heard( something to that effect) I know what my answer to them is basically offering a sacrifice does have a sacred format and Jesus established this, there answer is Jesus died once for your sins and they will not vary no matter what you present.

After reviewing what Catholic writers have said regarding such texts as 2 Maccabees 12:39-45, Matthew 12:32, and 1 Corinthians 3:10-15, the New Catholic Encyclopedia (1967, Vol. XI, p. 1034) acknowledges: “In the final analysis, the Catholic doctrine on purgatory is based on tradition, not Sacred Scripture.”
“The church has relied on tradition to support a middle ground between heaven and hell.”-U.S. Catholic, March 1981, p. 7.
So, did Jesus or the NT writers ever teach that purgatory is Scriptural? No. So, clearly, the Catholic Church admits that purgatory is an unscriptural tradition of men

There has been no adding of works. Jesus had made it clear that works are a sign of a living & active faith here:
Matthew 25 NIV (BibleGateway): The Sheep and the Goats
      www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Matthew+25&version=NIV
31 “When the Son of Man comes in his glory, and all the angels with him, he will sit on his glorious throne.
32 All the nations will be gathered before him, and he will separate the people one from another as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats.
33 He will put the sheep on his right and the goats on his left.
34 “Then the King will say to those on his right, ‘ *Come, you who are blessed by my Father; take your inheritance, the kingdom prepared for you since the creation of the world* .
35 *For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in* ,
36 *I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me* .’
37 “ *Then the righteous will answer him* , ‘ *Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink* ?
38 *When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you* ?
39 *When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you* ?’
40 “ *The King will reply* , ‘ *Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me* .’
41 “ *Then he will say to those on his left* , ‘ *Depart from me, you who are cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels* .
42 *For I was hungry and you gave me nothing to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me nothing to drink* ,
43 *I was a stranger and you did not invite me in, I needed clothes and you did not clothe me, I was sick and in prison and you did not look after me* .’
44 “ *They also will answer* ‘ *Lord, when did we see you hungry or thirsty or a stranger or needing clothes or sick or in prison, and did not help you* ?’
45 “ *He will reply* , ‘ *Truly I tell you, whatever you did not do for one of the least of these, you did not do for me* .’
46 “ *Then they will go away to eternal punishment, but the righteous to eternal life* .”
This is further emphasized in James 2 NIV (BibleGateway): Faith and Deeds
      www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=James+2&version=NIV
14 *What good is it, my brothers and sisters, if someone claims to have faith but has no deeds* ? *Can such faith save them* ?
15 Suppose a brother or a sister is without clothes and daily food.
16 If one of you says to them, “Go in peace; keep warm and well fed,” but does nothing about their physical needs, what good is it?
17 In the same way, *faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead* .
18 *But someone will say* , “ *You have faith; I have deeds* .” *Show me your faith without deeds* , *_and I will show you my faith by my deeds_* .
19 You believe that there is one God. Good! Even the demons believe that-and shudder.
20 You foolish person, *_do you want evidence that faith without deeds is useless_* [d]?
21 Was not our father Abraham considered righteous for what he did when he offered his son Isaac on the altar?
22 You see that his faith and his actions were working together, and his faith was made complete by what he did.
23 And the scripture was fulfilled that says, “Abraham believed God, and it was credited to him as righteousness,”[e] and he was called God’s friend.
24 *_You see that a person is considered righteous by what they do and not by faith alone_* .
25 In the same way, was not even Rahab the prostitute considered righteous for what she did when she gave lodging to the spies and sent them off in a different direction?
26 *_As the body without the spirit is dead_* , *_so faith without deeds is dead_* .
They never left His true teachings. I don't think it right to generalize when certain people have fallen. They have been exposed, & God is cleaning house now. Israel was exiled to Babylon for sin long ago. Did you stop believing the prophecies of the Messiah coming from Israel & the truth & authority of Scripture because of their faithlessness?
The Catholic Church is THE CHURCH. It is not a cult. I can't say the same for groups that had broken away from it after 1500 years & their derivative churches. That is historically accurate. To say otherwise is speaking untruthfully.
Please show me where in the Scriptures Yeshua ever created multiple churches by various interpretations that contradict one another...I believe St. Paul said otherwise on that matter:
1 Corinthians 1 NIV (BibleGateway): A Church Divided Over Leaders
      www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=1%20Corinthians+1&version=NIV
10 *I appeal to you, brothers and sisters,[a] in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that all of you agree with one another in what you say and that there be no divisions among you, but that you be perfectly united in mind and thought* .
11 My brothers and sisters, some from Chloe’s household have informed me that *there are quarrels among you* .
      12 What I mean is this: *One of you says* , “ *I follow Paul* ”; *another* , “ *I follow Apollos* ”; *another* , “ *I follow Cephas* [b]”; *still another* , “ *I follow Christ* .”
13 *Is Christ divided* ? *Was Paul crucified for you* ? *Were you baptized in the name of Paul* ?
14 I thank God that I did not baptize any of you except Crispus and Gaius,
15 so no one can say that you were baptized in my name.
16 (Yes, I also baptized the household of Stephanas; beyond that, I don’t remember if I baptized anyone else.)
17 For Christ did not send me to baptize, but to preach the gospel-not with wisdom and eloquence, lest the cross of Christ be emptied of its power.
      From Matthew 16 NIV (BibleGateway):
18 And I tell you that you are Peter,[b] and on this rock *I will build my church* , and the gates of Hades[c] will not overcome it.
Please note: Yeshua didn't say, "I will build My churches..." ONE CHURCH. He prayed for unity in His Church in John 17 NIV (BibleGateway) here:

@@rosiegirl2485 Catholicism was not made by jesus therefore it is not christianity. It's like saying your father has (father = jesus) inheritance (inheritence = apostles) he passes it down to his brother (brother = bible) and the brother passes it to his 2nd unborn son of his nephew in law just before he dies because he didnt have a family (catholic church). You see the problem with that is that the context of the words of Jesus (which is the main foundation of christ) can easily get out of context by time, culture and peoples egoistic nature. Vatican and the Pope's are a good example of that.

Jesus also said He did come to remove "... not an iota, not a dot..." from the Law. Does this mean including food laws? Must one need to pray over unclean foods before eating to make such clean? Like its okay to eat a buzzard rather than a chicken? People have alway died because of they eat and drink mainly because it's to much, unclean, or contaminated. I believe Jesus was trying to overly emphasize to keep one's conscience as clean as can be.

What is really sad to see is the usual protestant complaint: empty, just personal opinion, generic, void of any evidence and does not even site the specific Scripture being specifically discussed or sited. I wish I could speak to what you point to, but you have not made a single point. previously held by Holy Mother Church like Pope Francis new teaching of divorce and re-marriage, etc.
What are we going to follow the "Old Magisterium" or the "New Magisterium" ?
If someone for example plans to divorce his wife now and marry another. He is not thinking only of the present time. He is thinking that after many years say 20 years making many children to the other wife and become old; he can still live with his "other" wife and be accepted in the Kingdom of God and receive the Holy Eucharist since he is just following the "New Magisterium". It seems this is very ODD but it is true. He is just following the "New Magisterium." What's going on in Christ's life at the time of these passages appears to be some sort of intra-party conflict He's having with other members of the same overall religious movement to keep faith with the Law as they'd received it; based on how Christ might well be described- but He wasn't like those who did holy things for show; if He did them (and He did), He did them to be holy in His life- whether or not anyone saw them or not didn't make much difference to Him... but the overall practices were the same between Him and them. He, like them, was a very devout Jew in His earthly life, and these days, in Heaven, may well be- of that detail I'm not so sure about the rest of His situation; for ethnically and culturally He most definitely is a Jew, but religiously: that I'm not so clear on at this moment, and mayn't be till I enter Eternity and can ask Him face to face in the end of my Earthly life.

For me, it's impossible not to see a parallel between this gospel and those who insist following the heresies of Vatican II. Some "catholics" in our days prefer, as it seems, to follow absurd human precepts than God's. And all in name of a false obedience. Are we in the times of Apostasy mentioned by Saint Paul? God knows. But we have no excuse: we were warned by Our Lady in La Sallete and also in Fátima.
Monsignor Marcel Lefebvre, the Saint Athanasius of our times, was right: we MUST return to the true Tradition. And by the way: the Mass is not just a mere ritualistic tradition (with little "t") but it's at the center of our Faith. So, it's part of a Tradition (with big "T") that came, not by the apostles, but from Christ Himself. And no one, including the Pope, could dare to change it into a Protestant ceremony. The magisterium of the 60's could never ever contradict the preceding 2 millenia magisterium.
The French Revolution has entered the Church with the Vatican II and its fruits are all clear for everyone to see. And God will use this tragedy to separate the faithful from the traders of the Truth.

Than he quotes the book of acts which is years after the fact mind you where Peter says God forbid in reference to eating anything unclean. God forbid seems like very strong language for someone who supposedly was taught directly by Jesus that all foods are declared clean and yet Peter seems to be hearing this for the first time ever. Than the vision is explained as referring to people and had nothing to do with food in fact at all. Not to mention the fact that the Bible says food it is referring to clean food since unclean was never considered food in the first place. So this idea that true believers can ho around eating bacon for example had no real basis it seems whatsoever. Peter still did not think Gentiles were equal in God's eye. The vision set him straight on 2 things. God loves Gentiles and he was not to consider the foods they ate as unclean. In fact nowhere in the text does it even remotely suggest that. I’m sorry you feel the need to add that. I can only assume you just love bacon that much. But I have s strange feeling if I offered you dog to eat they like Peter your response would be God forbid. But wait how can you call something bad to eat that God called good. Now you you have to eat it. You see how wrong doctrine backs you into a corner with nowhere to run. That illogic thinking is not what God wants for His people. You have to simply come to the sad reality that it was interpreted that way because kosher laws are considered Jewish and people don’t like Jews. The reality however is that these are not Jewish laws, these are Gods laws and they are perfect because He is perfect and His laws are based on love and knows what is best for us. Anyway. That would be the spirit and intent of the law. There are a number of reasons why pork and shellfish are really bad for you and or the eco systems that are disrupted when they are removed. Just know that God knows the end from the beginning and designed things perfectly in such a way. Now we can choose to be obedient which is also an act of faith. You don’t go from that to Torah observance right away. He is saying they had to do the basic minimal first stop being satanists basically in order to be part of the community and than once apart of the community they would learn as they go. It also says that these same gentiles would Moses preached to them every sabbath. And so from this we can reasonably deduce that they would be expected to learn as they go like any natural process. First salvation and than sanctification. That’s Gods design. That’s what Paul means about being grafted into the nation of Israel. Their citizenship has now changed through faith. They have been adopted into the family of God and are no longer seen as gentiles. There is neither Jew nor Greek but all are one in messiah. That’s one nation called Israel with one constitution. There are no separate laws for separate people of God. That’s confusion and God is not the author of confusion. It’s one thing to have different customs or traditions like in America for instance but there is still one law that all are expected to adhere to. And according to the Bible sun is defined as anything contrary to the law. Sun is not whatever I feel like it is. Otherwise you have a Protestant thing with a million different denominations that I feel truly saddens our Heavenly Father. We as believers should be able to come together on the simple things and this seems super simple issue. Unless of course one just simply can’t give up bacon. I don’t get it. Is it that amazing. I mean nobody has a problem agreeing not to eat dog. So what’s the problem. That’s what I’m trying to understand. Where some of these pagans eating dog. They where so pagan and demonic they may very well have been and you think Peter should eat dog. Because that somehow will show love and advance the kingdom of God. A kingdom that is so Holy. I don’t think so.

That bit in brackets ("Thus He declared all foods clean") is not in the original text but ADDED by man, by human 'translators' to justify their un-Biblical stance on the eating of UNCLEAN animals, which even the Gentile (i.e. non-Jew) Noah knew about long before the Law was given at Sinai to Israel when he oversaw God boarding the Ark with clean and UNCLEAN animals, in twos and SEVENS (the perfect number in the Bible). If these animals were "ceremonially" unclean as some translators also ADD onto the word UNCLEAN, then God would have allowed their presence on the Ark along with the righteous people on board, but Noah was observing God's intention that UNCLEAN animals boarded only in twos for breeding purposes were created as scavengers to clean the planet, but not fit for human consumption due to the high risk of toxicity in their flesh, such as with prawns/shrimps who imbibe sewage to clean the water and other unclean species.
The CLEAN animals, such as poultry and cattle were boarded in sevens as they were permitted for FOOD, and the distinction by the Creator was for the good of mankind as the non-Jew Noah witnessed, yet many Gentile (non-Jewish) Christians teach that we can eat UNCLEAN animals, which God describes in His Word as an ABOMINATION! The ADDITION of those words in brackets is an example of the wily interference of men through Bible translation to promote their OWN personal beliefs which run counter to what God's Word actually says on this subject, and a great many other man-made TRADITIONS are upheld, that YESHUA (later re-named " Jesus" by the Gentiles) warned made the Word of God of none-effect to the religious hierarchy of His day.

@po18guy It's still ADDED by MAN, not God. Therefore it is not Holy Writ to be obeyed.
The same applies in the same book where the word "Corban" is also explained as "a gift to God" in parenthesis in some versions, which may assist those who are slow to understand, as you say, but it is still not part of the original text, which is important to know when forming doctrine.
The passage concerning food makes perfect sense without the parenthesis for those who are able to understand. However there is nothing in that understanding that matches the added man-made explanation in parenthesis, which is still the opinion of a mortal man, but not of God.

@po18guy "Nonsense" (nonsense means that something makes "no sense" or "non-sense" which is being parethesized here for the slow to understand by a person who believes that parethesis is an expression that clarifies rather than adding on any man-made opinions or thoughts - such as mine here - and so should be read literally as they help understanding alone and in no way influences rightly or wrongly how a person afterwards reacts to what he/she has read).
I trust that my parenthesis will be heeded alongside the original text that you have written. 📖

    • @scented-leafpelargonium3366

@po18guy I am nobody, but I am guilty of listening to Christian teachers who told me such things, which was in no way contradicting those who compiled the Scriptures, the first of whom were Jews. So if they were wrong in telling me this, perhaps I should not have listened to them, and I am happy for you to contradict the fact that parenthesis is not a man-made addition to the original text, which was indeed maintained (without parenthesis) at a cost of blood. I did not intend to display any sense of "ego," but rather just pass on what Christians have taught me.
At any rate I seem to only encounter professing Christians who diminish others with their tongues in order to defend their opinion or belief, which is most unattractive compared to the tenderness and grace of the loving Saviour they claim to represent on earth. You can win your argument, but an un-Christlike attitude to others beneath yourself will only repel and repulse.
I apologise for mentioning the words in brackets and I am sorry I alluded to it at all. 😔😷🥶
My secular friends are more desirable to engage with than being lambasted by the soldiers of Christ. Even when I lived in Israel the Jews could debate without resorting to nastiness, which is something that seems rare with some Christians who fight tooth and nail over their "rightness" yet lack human compassion, empathy or tolerance. Who cares what the brackets mean if it upsets people so much. I didn't put them there so let people say what they like about them.
As I said I am nobody, just a terminally ill former Hilton chef who now cannot work, and would never dare to believe I am smarter than the Church, although I came across differing outworkings of the Church through Hebrew-speaking believing Jews in Israel while I was a missionary there and also taking on board the history of the Gentile pre-Roman Celtic Church of Britain and Ireland founded by Patrick who based their practices on the Quartodeciman churches founded by John the Apostle across Asia Minor who kept Sabbath, not Sunday, and Passover, not Easter until the Synod of Whitby in 664 when the Roman prelates swayed Oswy, king of Northumbria, England, to accept the new Roman Easter and Sunday observance, from which point the British Church turned Roman, after which even the Protestant churches kept only the Roman celebrations and holy days without question, such as Christ-Mass, Easter, Lent, etc.
Of course the Church is smarter than me, but of course I do not need to be a part of it.
It is far too toxic a landscape for any open-minded person to endure at risk to mental health.
Your "Jesus-ness" has not won me over, and you are entitled to your rightness, whilst I recoil.
I don't know if Christians express themselves the same way in Church as they do freely online.
At least anything they write up here should be gladly enblazoned before a filled congregation, which is a good marker to keep one's tone in check, as I believe both should match in integrity.

If you did you would learn what Jesus was condemning as far as “traditions of men”. If you aren’t here to actually learn and listen to a different perspective than your own and rather just sit behind a keyboard condemning people with a sense of righteousness and hostility in your heart, perhaps it’s best for you to take time away from your computer and seek more of Jesus.

Dr. Pitre. If Jesus was declaring all foods clean so that one could eat shellfish and pork he would be contradicting the very intent of the passage. If we stay within the narrow band of the context which is about human tradition over against the commandments of God, the meaning of that parenthetical phrase (thus he declared all foods clean) must be targeting foods declared unclean by the traditions of men. Jesus cannot be said to contradict his own Father who commanded by the mouth of Moses what would be unclean to his people.

Jesus referred to the Pharisees as a brood of vipers - “Either make the tree good, and his fruit good; or else make the tree corrupt, and his fruit corrupt: for the tree is known by his fruit. O generation of vipers, how can ye, being evil, speak good things? for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh. A good man out of the good treasure of the heart bringeth forth good things: and an evil man out of the evil treasure bringeth forth evil things.”
    ‭‭Matthew‬ ‭12:33-35‬ ‭KJV‬‬
Indeed, I don’t thing that Jesus ever condemned anyone else in the New Testament gospels except the Pharisees. Jesus thoroughly reveals the hypocrisy of the Pharisees in Matthew 23. Does the description that Jesus gives us in Matthew 23 not remind us of a counterfeit church that exists today. The true church of Christ Jesus is called the bride of Christ and the false church is called a whore or a harlot, for God will never be joined with a whore. Read what the prophet Hosea has to say on this matter and then read the Book of “The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave unto him, to shew unto his servants things which must shortly come to pass; and he sent and signified it by his angel unto his servant John:”
    ‭‭(Revelation‬ ‭1:1‬ ‭KJV‬‬).
The counterfeit church, the White has even appointed for itself its own goddess whom they worship as the queen of heaven. The prophet Jeremiah spoke about the queen of heaven almost 2700 years ago when he wrote - “But we will certainly do whatsoever thing goeth forth out of our own mouth, to burn incense unto the queen of heaven, and to pour out drink offerings unto her, as we have done, we, and our fathers, our kings, and our princes, in the cities of Judah, and in the streets of Jerusalem: for then had we plenty of victuals, and were well, and saw no evil. But since we left off to burn incense to the queen of heaven, and to pour out drink offerings unto her, we have wanted all things, and have been consumed by the sword and by the famine. And when we burned incense to the queen of heaven, and poured out drink offerings unto her, did we make her cakes to worship her, and pour out drink offerings unto her, without our men?”

There is nothing new under the sun!
“But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed. As we said before, so say I now again, If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed.”

Come out of the counterfeit church with its counterfeit Idols and goddess. Don’t you know that as a teacher of the Word of God that you will be held accountable to God for your blasphemies? Don’t you know that you will receive a harsher judgement for God- “My brethren, be not many masters, knowing that we shall receive the greater condemnation.”

“Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves. Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles? Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit. A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit. I would respectfully suggest that you read Ch.17 in full because there is no reference to a church as a prostitute. I would also suggest that you study history to see what was happening in Rome ca. 68 AD and later...
You stated: "God will never be joined with a whore." And yet, Hosea was married to Gomer - a harlot - by command of the Lord. It reflected the relationship that God had with Israel, & yet He still loved Israel - & still does...See Romans 9-11 if you doubt.
You stated: "The counterfeit church, the White has even appointed for itself its own goddess whom they worship as the queen of heaven. ‭‭Jeremiah‬ ‭44:17-19‬ ‭KJV‬‬"
Yes, I'm familiar with that passage. Since I'm sure you adhere to sola scriptura, would you please show me where in any of the Scriptures a counterfeit church is explicitly stated as worshipping this pagan queen of heaven worshipped by the Israelites - book, chapter, & verse? I would like to see it - word for word - explicitly in the Scriptures.
You stated: "There is nothing new under the sun!
“But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed. As we said before, so say I now again, If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed.”
      ‭‭Galatians‬ ‭1:8-9‬ ‭KJV‬‬"
The Catholic Church received the Gospel directly from Christ & has handed it down faithfully through the ages. I would respectfully argue that this other gospel you preach of came 1500 years after the fact....
You stated: "Come out of the counterfeit church with its counterfeit Idols and goddess. Don’t you know that as a teacher of the Word of God that you will be held accountable to God for your blasphemies? I think you need to take your own advice, sir.
      ‬‬
You stated: "Know the tree by it’s fruit.

You do realize that after 1500 years, it's the traditions of men to which others adhere...
You stated: "The fruit from the Romanised Universal Church is rotten to the core. “I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest see.”

All praise and glory be to my Heavenly Father God, through Christ Jesus, in unity with the Holy Spirit of God for ever and ever."
From Fulton Sheen as quoted in the article entitled "Father Fulton Sheen and the Millions Who Hate the Catholic Church" (Aleteia):
      aleteia.org/2016/06/20/father-fulton-sheen-the-millions-who-hate-the-catholic-church/
"There are not over a hundred people in the United States who hate the Catholic Church. There are millions, however, who hate what they wrongly believe to be the Catholic Church - which is, of course, quite a different thing. These millions can hardly be blamed for hating Catholics because Catholics “adore statues”; because they “put the Blessed Mother on the same level with God”; because they say “indulgence is a permission to commit sin”; because the Pope “is a Fascist”; because the “Church is the defender of Capitalism.” If the Church taught or believed any one of these things it should be hated, but the fact is that the Church does not believe nor teach any one of them. It follows then that the hatred of the millions is directed against error and not against truth. As a matter of fact, if we Catholics believed all of the untruths and lies which were said against the Church, we probably would hate the Church a thousand times more than they do.
If I were not a Catholic, and were looking for the true Church in the world today, I would look for the one Church which did not get along well with the world; in other words, I would look for the Church which the world hates… Look for the Church that is hated by the world, as Christ was hated by the world. Look for the Church which is accused of being behind the times, as Our Lord was accused of being ignorant and never having learned. Look for the Church which men sneer at as socially inferior, as they sneered at Our Lord because He came from Nazareth. Look for the Church which is accused of having a devil, as Our Lord was accused of being possessed by Beelzebub, the Prince of Devils. Look for the Church which, in seasons of bigotry, men say must be destroyed in the name of God as men crucified Christ and thought they had done a service to God. Look for the Church which the world rejects because it claims it is infallible, as Pilate rejected Christ because He called Himself the Truth. Look for the Church which is rejected by the world as Our Lord was rejected by men…
If then, the hatred of the Church is founded on erroneous beliefs, it follows that basic need of the day is instruction. Love depends on knowledge for we cannot aspire nor desire the unknown.
Our great country is filled with what might be called marginal Christians, i.e., those who live on the fringe of religion and who are descendants of Christian living parents, but who now are Christians only in name. They retain a few of its ideals out of indolence and force of habit; they knew the glorious history of Christianity only through certain emasculated forms of it, which have married the spirit of the age and are now dying with it. Of Catholicism and its sacraments, its pardon, its grace, its certitude and its peace, they know nothing except a few inherited prejudices. And yet they are good people who want to do the right thing, but who have no definite philosophy concerning it. They educate their children without religion, and yet they resent the compromising morals of their children. They would be angry if you told them they were not Christian, and yet they do not believe that Christ is God. They resent being called pagans and yet they never take a practical cognizance of the existence of God. There is only one thing of which they are certain and that is that things are not right as they are. It is just that single certitude which makes them what might be called the great “potentials,” for they are ready to be pulled in either of two directions. Within a short time they must take sides; they must either gather with Christ or they must scatter; they must either be with Him or against Him; they must either be on the cross as other Christs, or under it as other executioners. Which way will these marginal Christians tend?… Only this much is certain. Being human and having hearts they want more than class struggle and economics; they want Life, they want Truth, and they want Love. In a word, they want Christ.
It is to these millions who believe wrong things about the Church and to these marginal Christians, that this little book is sent. It is not to prove that they are “wrong”; it is not to prove that we are “right”; it is merely to present the truth in order that the truth may conquer through the grace of God.”"
      From Matthew 5 (BibleHub):
10 *Blessed are those who are persecuted because of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven* .
11 *Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you, and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of Me* .
12 *Rejoice and be glad, because great is your reward in heaven; for in the same way they persecuted the prophets before you*.

Regrettably many Christians are openly aggressive towards sinners. They forget that their redemption is not by their own efforts “For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.”
      ‭‭Ephesians‬ ‭2:8-9‬ ‭KJV‬‬
The entire human race is guilty of sin “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus: Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God;”
      ‭‭Romans‬ ‭3:23-25‬ ‭KJV‬‬
I am a sinner saved only by the grace of God through faith in Christ Jesus who gave up his life for me that I may have life more abundantly in Him.
Who am I therefore to judge others or to condemn them for their sin?
Sinners do not need to be condemned by Christians for their sin, for Satan continually condemns sinners before the throne of God. “And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser (Satan) of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night. And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.”
      ‭‭Revelation‬ ‭12:10-11‬ ‭KJV‬‬
As a Christian my greatest privilege and honour is to spread the word of truth, that is the gospel of Christ Jesus, the power of God unto salvation. For, “Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.” (John‬ ‭14:6‬ ‭KJV)‬‬
The whole Bible is one big sign post that points to God through Christ Jesus. From the beginning of all creation “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.” (John‬ ‭1:1-3‬ ‭KJV), to the new beginning prophesied in the last book of the Bible, ‬‬“And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war. His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself. And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God. And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean. And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God. And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND Lord OF LORDS.”
      ‭‭Revelation‬ ‭19:11-16‬ ‭KJV‬‬
My earnest prayer is that all sinners will repent and accept Christ Jesus as their Lord and saviour and be baptised in the Holy Spirit of God.
Born again Christians are all different parts of the living body of Christ Jesus and He is the head of the body.
May I always exercise my faith in love and bear much fruit through the power of the Holy Spirit of God who lives in me.
“But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law. And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts. If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit. Let us not be desirous of vain glory, provoking one another, envying one another.”
      ‭‭Galatians‬ ‭5:22-26‬ ‭KJV‬‬
Let me convict sinners of their sin by the power of the Holy Spirit of God and not condemn them as Satan does, so that they will turn again to God their Heavenly Father through Christ Jesus and be saved for all of eternity. God is love.
“And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us. God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him.”
      ‭‭1 John‬ ‭4:16‬ ‭KJV‬‬
I pray to God through Christ Jesus in unity with the Holy Spirit of God that all who live in darkness will hear the Gospel of Christ Jesus and be set free.
“Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed; And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.”
      ‭‭John‬ ‭8:31-32‬ ‭KJV‬‬

God reveres His Word above His name. “I will worship toward thy holy temple, and praise thy name for thy lovingkindness and for thy truth: for thou hast magnified thy word above all thy name.”
      ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭138:2‬ ‭KJV‬‬
Are you wiser than God that you would revere the traditions of man above the Word of God? Will all wisdom disappear with you when you die?
I pray that the Holy Spirit of God will remove the scales from your eyes and the calluses from your heart so that you will learn the truth that is the Gospel of Christ Jesus, the power of God unto salvation.
The Church is the living body of Christ Jesus. Born again, Spirit filled Christians are all different parts of His body, and Jesus is the head of the body, His congregation, His Holy Church.

"Call no man on Earth your father for One is your Father in Heaven."
    - Yeshua(Jesus) Christ
This is one tradition the Church needs to give up (calling Church elders father). That would be a great step, and is a necessary step, toward reunification. The Roman church cannot expect Christiandom to accept into our body such blatant rebellion against Christ, and especially in such high positions. Please brothers and sisters, from the bottom up and top down, please make this happen. It's time to reunify but we must reunify well, we cannot reunify poorly nor reunify in rebellion against Christ.
Much love to all, Christ be to all.

Please look at these bits of Scripture:
      Jn 8:56
"...Your father Abraham rejoiced at the thought of seeing my day; he saw it and was glad."
      Jas 2:21
Was not our father Abraham considered righteous for what he did when he offered his son Isaac on the altar?
      Acts 5:30
The God of our fathers raised up Jesus, whom ye slew and hanged on a tree.
      Acts 7:2
To this he replied: “Brothers and fathers, listen to me! The God of glory appeared to our father Abraham while he was still in Mesopotamia, before he lived in Harran.
So, it begs the question: since Jesus still referred to Abraham as father, & other such examples followed throughout the NT, what exactly did Jesus mean in saying 'Call no man "father"?' Were the NT writers wrong to call anyone but God "Father?"

@@kainosktisis777 We compare spiritual things with spiritual. Biological fathers are biological fathers, earthly fathers who raise us are earthly fathers, ultimately we are reborn into seeing God as a child sees his father because God is our Father. Spiritual Father is One in Heaven.
K777, it's not like Yeshua meant nothing by those words; He meant that we are not to call men on Earth father in a spiritual sense. None of the apostles go by "father" nor do the Scriptures speak of any Christian doing so.
"And as Peter was coming in, Cornelius met him, and fell down at his feet, and worshipped. But Peter took him up, saying, Stand up; I myself also am a man."
      - Acts 10
As the video said, traditions are only disobedience when they defy the Scriptures. We see this tradition is specifically rebellion against Christ's own command.
Abraham was promised that the blessing of all nations (Christ) would be of his descendents. "Abraham" means "father of many" and is the name God gave him. He is the biological father of the Hebrews and the father of faith for all Israel.
Abraham lived as God chose so we can read of him. K777, I desire that you believe Christ and agree with Him. I don't want for you to be one who seeks to have excuses to choose earthly teachings over Christ.
"If ye love me, keep my commandments."
      - Yeshua Christ
K777, if you have something to say that better clarifies what Christ meant by "Call no man on Earth your father, for One is your Father in Heaven" please share.
I understand that the idea is to be fatherly-led by our Heavenly Father only and not by any man nor men on Earth. But, if it's unChristian to be fatherly-led by men on Earth, then it's unChristian to bestow the title of "father" unto Church elders. It is even blasphemy.
Christ Himself claimed to be The Son, called Himself Son. Dare these men be called father?! Think about it K777, it's really really bad.
      K777, please don't deny Christ.
"In the beginning was the Logos"
You must admit the logic is true. It's simpler than logic, it's simple listening.
K777, I no longer think of my father as my father, because I believe Christ that One is my Father in Heaven. Everything is much better this way. Thank Christ. Now, if I call other than The Father "father" then I tell a lie, because Christ is always right.
Now I'm not saying to abandon the Roman church, that wouldn't be right. I do know that you are commanded to call no man on Earth father and this is something that needs to be insisted through all Church before reunification is possible. Please do your part K777.
"Now I beseech you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye all speak the same thing, and there be no divisions among you; but ye be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment. For it hath been declared unto me of you, my brethren, by them of Chloe, that there are contentions among you. Now this I say, that every one of you saith, I am of Paul; and I of Apollos; and I of Cephas; and I of Christ. Is Christ divided? was Paul crucified for you? "
      - Paul, 1st letter to the Corinthians
Disobedience to Christ is the root to all Church divisions. Our unity is in Christ only. Christ emphasized obedience, Spirit, and Truth. Our baptism is by fire and by the Holy Ghost. Let the title "father" be consumed in flame so we may be a purified and worthy bride.
Much love K777, Christ be to you.

@@kainosktisis777 Specifically in Acts 7:2, I think he is speaking of biological fatherhood as in the older generation. When Church elders are called "father" this is specifically a claim to spiritual fatherhood and so it is specifically what Christ warned and commanded us against. Christ was Son, we are His servants, and Christ Himself said servants are never above their master. The word "father" refers to representing the Father who is God.
The Father is in Christ; we in Christ and Christ in us, the Father is in us. Christ in the Father, we are in The Father. Christ and our Father are one and we have the mind of Christ. All that belongs to Father belongs to Christ and is given to us.
We have the mind of Christ so we have the mind of The Father, yes, and we are one in and with Him, yes. So where do we draw the line on oneness with the Father? Thankfully Christ was very straightforward.
"Call no man on Earth your father for One is your Father in Heaven."
What did Yeshua mean by this? He meant that thinking of men as spiritual fathers and speaking of them as spiritual fathers is not Truth.
If Christians are to be called "father" for the indwelling of the Father in us, then all Christians including women are "father", just as all Church including men are "bride". But, we do have elders and deacons who devote to service and excellence, and this is the Truth. Let us call Church elders and deacons elders and deacons. Let us be honest as Christ is honest. Let's do our part to be Christ's light and heal His Church.

      @@kainosktisis777 Spiritually literal, yes.
See, language references observed things both physical and of logic. To speak of transcendent abstract deepest spiritual Truth applies the same references but different context and perspective.
One thing to consider is that spiritual realness is more real than physical realness because both are real but the physical is only the skin of the spiritual so spiritual is more. So see that the physical vines are the parables and Christ is the true vine.
We must be attached to the vine to have life; this is not a metaphor. Snip a branch and it will die. Christ is the true vine. As much as we embody Christ We embody life, and as much as we embody sin we embody death. If our identity (that is the will that evolves our person) is sin, then we are dead in our sins. Who is dead in sins? The true us, the snipped vine. Who is alive in such case? The carnal. But that which is harvested is not the seed that was planted, but a new body is born. When we truly believe Christ (not men), then we pass through the Gate (Christ), we pass through His death and are born not of the will of flesh nor the will of man but of God! We are born by the narrow Gate to live the straight Way.
Our person is not our body. Once a villain lived in this body, but upon new birth he was destroyed and I was given this flesh and mind as the wicked husbandmen had their vineyard taken and given to the worthy because they killed their masters son.
Now that was a parable. But, Christ said "I am the true vine" and such is not a parable.
Spiritually what are the flesh and blood of Christ? What is true food? True drink?
As I said, spiritual real is more real than physical real.
Don't you see? Can Christ not get through to you? He is in me now, I speak to you pure sinless words.
When we don't believe these Truths we do not embody Christ, rather we miss the mark and embody sin. Who will save us from this body of death? Thank Christ!
The Spirit of who we are is not our body. Thank Christ.
Yet let us embody who we are and let us not give place to demons, for we are Temple of the only Holy And Living God.
"Now the body not for fornication, but for the Lord; and the Lord for the body."
      - 1 Corinthians 6
Let us be living sacrifice, body for the Lord and Lord for the body. On earth we are temple, let us believe and be Holy. We are where God dwells, where others can visit and talk with God, where God communes with us and expresses Himself to those who see the Temple.
Without the vine is death, be not snipped away by traditions of men which defy the command of Christ.
"Call no man on Earth your father for One is your Father in Heaven."
When Christ was confronted about the woman caught in adultery He knelt down and wrote in the sand. I believe He wrote what He said. This was to add to the Law these words "Let he without sin cast the first stone" and He simply wrote it in Holy ground and spoke it. The men had a choice to accuse Christ of blasphemy or to yield. They feared God and yielded to His Son, thus the eldest man left and they each left in turn eldest to youngest.
Those men seeked to ensnare Christ, and they may have conspired against Him after this. Yet, in that moment they dared not defy Him.
K777, do not fear what is false (tradition) but fear what is true. Yet don't fear to do Truth but fear to be truly seperate from Truth.
To be clear, it's not the sin of calling elders "father" that creates distance. Rather, we embody our previous self, we embody the old-man's deadness, when we reject the words of Christ. It doesn't mean we are dead, but it means we embody death in such action.
The video clearly describes the difference between types of traditions. Fact is that the honorific title "father" is the bad type of tradition according to the video and also according to Scripture.
"If ye love me, keep my commandments."
      Let us love Him.
      Christ be to you K777
