@@ryzeshorts i guess it still needs to be fast, but this speed is gonna build up over time (if you can do it slow with good technique, you will learn to do it fast)
This is exactly what I needed. I've only recently came back playing, was confident I could reach Immortal back in 2021 when rr didn't exist and u could rank up 3x in 3 games (peaked D2 in only 15 wins and started from Plat 2). I aimed just like this Asc player and it felt "right" coz back then, i was winning more than 50% of duels coz no one was really that good at the game unless they were high immortal to radiant. Now I feel like I'm losing more than 50% of duels in high Dia to Asc lobbies. Really spirit crushing tbh but hey at least I got more room to grow. (Sorry for the long ass story btw.)
Trying to be calm while focusing on aiming and shooting is rare for me. It's like I'm activating ultra instinct on my head and for some reason I can focus more than ever but it's limited for some time too (2 to 4 rounds). After that, I'll be back with the default setting again (rushing, bad aim, and spraying)

good advice but it doesnt work against my enemies , they don't run and stop then shoot , they run while spraying 200M away and somehow I get 1 taped ,welcome to valorant
In a situation like that, their gun is fully inaccurate. I usually just move left or right out of their cone of bullets if they do that. Kinda the same thing with people insta-crouch spraying, just strafing left/right and typically you'll kill them before they can kill you.

Your gun will be 100% accurate once the animation resets back into place after you stop. So when you see someone stop immediately, wait for the gun to reset, than shoot. Also when clearing a room it’s better to just tap A or D instead of holding it.

I feel like the reason we all shoot as soon as the enemy shows up, is because we watch so many clips of people insta-flicking onto heads and one tapping them. Then we try to replicate them
I told this to my lower ranking and fellow ranking teammates, they never understand this. I take time to hit my first shot and for that reason I was always able to clutch it always.

When talking about this problem we have to take ping and peekers' advantage into consideration. Sure on paper fixing it is the best way to improve but in reality, with how severe peekers' advantage is in higher ping regions shooting fast is your only option when you're put in a gun fight against a 5 - 10ms ping opponent. Of course avoiding unfair fights like that is the number one priority, but you can't always avoid fights especially when you want to rank up fast
thats why hes recommending it to asc to immortals, regardless if you're shooting fast if your first bullet does nothing and their first bullet dinks you, you lost the fight. Especially against higher tier players, its building the muscle memory to just be on their head regardless
Hello sondo, your tips are really helping out, i just want to know one more thing, let's say you get an early pick and you put your team in a 5v4 advantage, how to play the round next? should you retake, keep fighting or hold site
simple rule: if you have a man advantage, play more passive and trade each other out, you'll end up winning if you trade properly. If you're at a disadvantage, then taking a 1v1 risk to try and even out the number is fine. on equal situations, it depends on a lot of factors like util, ults, health, and the most important one, time. time can be either your enemy or your ally depending on the situation, so take that into account as well.
5:09 happens to me alot, but i feel like its not him shooting too early, i feel like he was predicting the omen to keep moving so he had his crosshair at the spot where omen was about to be but then the omen stopped moving as soon as he shot, what do we do when this happens ?
@@randomcommentor5042 you are both wrong. The important concept here is target confirmation. He is firing his first bullet before confirming that his crosshair is actually on the enemies head. in valorant bullets travel very quickly. you dont need to anticipate the omens movement, just put your crosshair on his head and shoot.
@@holmster Im pretty sure the necessity to predict people's movement is important especially when countering people with weird strafes. If you're movement is obvious, what are you gonna do when I already prefired your next position. I don't have to readjust my aim, I just knew where you were gonna go.
You shouldnt really be looking at the crosshair, you should be looking at the enemy and youll adjust naturally. Its like driving a car you look where you're steering not the wheel. You should subconsciously have an idea of where the crosshair is when you look at the enemy anyways. I mean this what i think anyways.
the idea of training is that you first consciously train and actively try to implement new ways into your gameplay and at first it's gonna lose you games until you reach the level of subconsciously doing it when it becomes second nature. In general you should NOT look at the crosshair because your subconscious or peripheral vision will know where it is and where it goes while you focus on the enemy and surroundings. We humans see more at once than you think even if you sorta tunnel vision onto an object. It's like this with all trainings, take crosshair placement for example for someone who always shoots the body. at first when you have to actively position your crosshair properly it will lose you a lot of gun fights because you don't do it naturally, but you do exactly that until at some point you start winning the gun fights and crosshair placement becomes a part of you that you don't have to think about. So if you think your crosshair placement is bad, actively work on it until you don't need to anymore.
0:31 Bro, te salió muy bien el "mi amigo", literal estaba comiendo mientras veía el video y quedé desorientado, fue como "que? quien?" y luego me di cuenta que era el video
those are exactly the kind of exercises i used to drill as an igl when i was playing cs 1.6 competitively make good drills and focus on accuracy vs speed once you get that down you can add speed or even better ur muscle memory gonna add that speed on it own
I think it's also important to stress how hitboxes work in this game. Coming from the old school counter-strike days, you really do have to get a good feel for the way the hitboxes work and that still holds true in valorant
this is a great tip the only issue is, like he mentioned in the video, it only works in higher ranks. If you play anywhere from silver to plat, and if you take time to aim, you will be sprayed down faster than you can blink, specially in gold. The RNG aspect of this game has changed a lot. RNG is a big focus now. It's not exclusively a 'precise gunplay' game anymore. If you really wanna get out of sil, gold and plat, you need to improve game sense and forget about improving aim. Trust me, you don't need aim to get out of these ranks. Any clown can do it with the right game sense and map reading. Once you are in higher diamond or higher though, you need calm precise aim. This is where you need to start focusing on aim. Anything under diamond is winnable just with proper discipline and good game sense, even with only ghost or only frenzy games because gunplay doesn't matter in these ranks. Focus on outwitting your opponent not on outshootong them.
I have been trying this calm aim style gameplay in my death matches, and if I don't kill my enemy in 5 bullets, I let them kill me. Bro, it has actually made my ranked gun fights so much better.
This is definitely one of my problems, and still working on it. This is exactly how nAts dominate the VCT. Normal movement but super precise phantom shots.
Holy shit, ass soon as i started applying this in my game and paying attention to my first shot acc i popped off and did great!! LUV UR VID currently immo 1
After watching my vods playing , that really made alot of sense , my aim is good but i waste alot of fights because i shoot before i aim , i focus on being fast more than being accurate , Thanks for the video
This remind me so much of hells paradise, "tao, strong, no, weak, no." Can't be too aggressive when shooting, and too weak, but right in the middle, at all times.
Another problem also is the worry that maybe the enemy is faster so I have to be quick and take my shot a soon as possible and as soon as I feel that my aim is right.
This is definitely one of my problems, in deathmatch I can be calmer and line up my crosshair for the shots but when I'm in a comp game I end up rushing my shots and crouch spraying more than I need to.
try not crouch wehile shooting/spraying at all, only when you need to (to look underneath a sage wall or tuck ur head behind cover)

That's the exact same problem that i have
Presch
@@sondo301_ bro what does that mean 😭
Mee too man 😅
those are exactly the kind of exercises i used to drill as an igl when i was playing cs 1.6 competitively make good drills and focus on accuracy vs speed once you get that down you can add speed or even better ur muscle memory gonna add that speed on it own
Post a full vod of you playing without having the first bullet inaccuracy. I bet you can't even do it perfectly in a game same as the one you coached.
The fuck are you stuck up about?
This video called me IRON in every second.
Aim Stop Shoot = A.S.S
Thank you so much for these videos honestly helping me so much :3
bad youtuber ngl
Sorry you feel that way
Never subscribed so fast xD This video is a blessing
I think it's also important to stress how hitboxes work in this game. Coming from the old school counter-strike days, you really do have to get a good feel for the way the hitboxes work and that still holds true in valorant
Thanks for the video. Im new to valorant and just started through the console beta. These tips are helping me improve alot and im having a blast
Aim.. Stop.. Shoot.. ASS got it coach.
this is a great tip the only issue is, like he mentioned in the video, it only works in higher ranks.
10/10 video, been having this exact problem in cs
aim, stop n shoot. WarOwl would be proud brutha
that omen clip was because he was predicting omen movement and he stopped the second he was gonna shoot
Both of them are the exact problems I'm having. Thanks for the insight!
Happy to help!
AIM STOP SHOOT =ASS thankz for this wonderful advice
This is definitely one of my problems, and still working on it. This is exactly how nAts dominate the VCT. Normal movement but super precise phantom shots.
Holy shit, ass soon as i started applying this in my game and paying attention to my first shot acc i popped off and did great!! LUV UR VID currently immo 1
these are great tips for any shooter.. thanks bro!
Got you man!
A.S.S has really helped me in my past few games thanks so much
I start coaching youth valorant soon and watching your videos to learn drills to run etc has helped alot thank you
I like this guy when he said "mi amigo" :)
Being calm indeed helps in many ways and in many situations.
Another problem also is the worry that maybe the enemy is faster so I have to be quick and take my shot a soon as possible and as soon as I feel that my aim is right.
this is fs the best aim training tutorial ive seen and ive watched a lot of them
-Swing
-Take my time
-Aim
-get one tapped
Very cool
I like to go around and watch vids like these to see if people are spewing bs. This video was actually solid tho good job
