I have D7200 and they are amazing... one of the best closed back I have heard... such a great & detailed sound. I am aiming to get the D9200. They are the end game for lot of music enthusiast and even compare them to more expensive cans these are dominating them. Happy listening :)
Its the most exciting headphones ive ever heard. I am using HD700 normally and listened to HD800 as well but these closed headphones actually sound like open back and have the same comfort....its so weird. Its like they have the benefits of both worlds without its faults. Definetely gonna buy them when i find the stomach to spend that amount of cash.... Unbelievable headphones!
Just bought a pair to complement my open backed Focal Clears, they don't have the space of the Focals but the bass on the Focals is a bit weak imo whereas on the Denons it's awesome, all-round a superb pair of headphones that sound great with just about anything you throw at them music wise
Off the back of yours and a few other reviews just ordered the 9200s, currently own and absolutely love the 7200s, expecting big things from the top Denons. I’ve never been able to fault Denon’s higher priced offerings they strike the perfect balance between high fidelity and sheer pleasure.
hello,i have and love sound straight from my hifiman ananda bt,no EQ needed + astell kern SR25 II. need a closed headphone with similar sound .I dont like bassy headphoes.what you can tell AH-D9200 vs Audeze LCD-XC? im tried at local shop 9200 ,very like sound but a bit too much highs and seems like semi open sound with big soundstage.tried focal stellia at same shop and not liked it. stellia sounds like my bathys -no soundstage and dark.
What model of Focal’s would you say these compare closest to? I was looking into getting a pair of Focal Utopia’s & the Focal Arche DAC/AMP. Obviously OB vs CB, but which do you prefer? What about more similar HP’s like the Stellia’s? Lastly what is your opinion of the Utopia/Stellia/Arche on their own?
@@am7ha7 I went way out in left field. Haha. I ordered the Massdrop X Focal Elex’s and then seen all the QC problems so I canceled them. I decided to try out some Shure SE846 Buds since I’ve always wanted a pair. I bought a Sony NW-WM1A to go with the SE846. I have other good Headphones so might as well try something new.

How are your 9200s? U using them since then? How is it compare to the 7200s?

the focal utopia isnt worth it; if you wanna have a focal open back, go for the original clear.

@@Len_M. i will probably buy the denon ah d9200, but i can check sounds locally with almost everything before i put a nail in the coffin
They are way better than the Stellias......
