- Happy Sunday! We're doing a sunscreen review for the COSRX Aloe Soothing Sun Cream SPF 50+. Will it work on my dark, oily, acne-prone, and sensitive skin?

I'm so happy I found this video! I also bought this because of all the amazing reviews, but no one was experiencing the pilling or the white cast, which I experience. I want to love it so bad, but the pilling is so annoying I can't 🥺

One of the most comprehensive and accurate sunscreen reviews I have ever found! This is the exact same experience I had with this sunscreen! Especially the scent and the pilling! I got it after I saw all the good reviews and recommendations, and It made me question the genuinity of the product after trying it out for over a week.

@@benenon I did had a slight cast with it but to me that's not too much of a big deal cause I can use like a bb cream. I think the formulation was nice but all that pilling was just a big let down ☹
You must include some BHA and AHA into your skincare sometimes..twice a week..otherwise with full of dead skin then pilling is going to happen
I love this sunscreen so much but the pilling is ridiculous I’m so sad 😭 a sunscreen I use instead is Black Girl Sunscreen ! It’s amazing and so moisturizing

I went through 5 bottles of this sunscreen and I recently started noticing that it pills. I don't think the ingredient changed but I noticed when it pilled, I had like a 4-5 skincare product layering on my face. in the morning, I just wear sunscreen and maybe a light thin moisturizer and it doesn't pill at all but when I do my 7-step skincare, it pills. Also, I want to mention that I'm a medium-skinned girlie who didn't experience a white cast but after I went on my vacation I tanned slightly and now it leaves an ashy gray cast on me. I found myself rubbing it in longer for it to look clean.

Finally got it...
Used it after wash, tone, vit c and CeraVe cream... No cast or pilling whatsoever... I used a quarter teaspoon just on my face. Yes it has a scent but not horrible and so far no itching which is something I get if my skin doesn't like... And I'm a Mac NC45 shade... And I love how it feels. Let's see how it keeps

Omg this SPF is peeling off my skin even without a moisturizer on bottom it's actually ridiculous I really wanted it to be a holy grail product for me
so annoying 😔 I hope you find a sunscreen you like!
Also let me just mention that I haven't experienced the peeling. I use Vitamin C serum, and Neutrogena aqua gel moisturiser.

I came running to this video coz I'm experiencing this reaction too😭😭i thought cosrx was a holy grail! I'm disappointed and i got it for 20$
$20 😱 I got mine for like $11 and I was so mad I even wasted that much. Hope you find something else that works better!!

First day use it is piling. It leaves a cast. Piling around the neck

I bought it because of the "it doesn't leave a white cast" reviews only for it to leave a white cast. I live in a humid environment and this sunscreen is a NO!! plus it turns my face purplish-blueish

OH MY GOD! I removed vitamin c, retinol, niacinamide, and AHA/BHA on my routine thinking that one of those things is the cause of my peeling. Then this morning I was still peeling. But the only thing I put was this sunscreen and I’m like WTF!!!

OMG, i was so convinced tgis was gonna be it..(the perfect sunscreen for me) until i saw this. Noe i don't jnow whether to go ahead and buy it or not.
Tbh not everyone has had a bad experience with it so don't let me deter you. This was just my experience 🙃

Omg I bought this because of the great reviews and thought it was great for a week or so but then noticed super bad pilling. I agree with you that probably applying a serum or something on before will make the pilling worse but even when I apply it to bare skin I notice the pilling. it's especially noticeable when you're taking a mask on and off (like what I do at work) and then I have piling around my jaw area. It’s so annoying cos I love the formula and I don’t have a white cast (I’m like medium to dark skin stone). Guess I’ll just use it on my body or something and buy a different sunscreen now ugh :(

Is it suitable for mixed skin also does it contain fragrance that does not cause allergies
"mixed" skin tone is a very wide range but I would say if you lean on the deeper side you might see a slight cast. It does contains fragrance.
What acne serum are you using ?
It does have alcohol.
