I keep coming back to this performance when I want to hear this piece - going to try tackle it myself and I will be thrilled if I can play it half as well as this! Bravo!
Bravo! Great performance! It is so awesome to see someone else who likes classical music on a steel string guitar! I have long thought that the Bach Cello suites are the greatest solo pieces ever composed, and I've been working on the Courante and Minuet of the same suite as this (#1)
Thanks for the compliment, J.S.Bach is one of the greatest composers. His music doesn´t need Spanish guitar or original 13 String Barock Lute, it can sound great with different instruments.🎻🎸🎺🎷🪕🎹📯
Klaus, one of the greatest versions I ever heard on a guitar! I did hear some uneven rhythm but I know where it is coming from and I personally dont have any issues with it. I would also add more expression, perhaps I did not notice it right away. Otherwise I loved your performance!
Bliss in the ears. Best version out there on guitar.
You put the feel into it.
Finally glad to hear this played well on a regular acoustic instead of everyone else doing it on Nylon! Great tone and excellent playing!

The song is traditionally performed on cello with a slight variance in tempo, it would lose the feel if it were right on beat throughout the tune
What tuning is this in ?
very late, but its in drop D i think
Beautifull. What guitar is that? Maton ebg808?
Thanks for compliment. It´s a Martin Custom Shop build 2004
