Definitely not accepted, they're looked at from wild monkeys out of curiosity but they definitely aren't going to take this outsider in and take care of it they're either going to let it fend for itself or kill it.

Yeah he really is. I've seen other videos of him, and he adapted pretty well. The only time he started screeching was when that other monkey bit his tail. But otherwise, he's doing good. My guess is these owners of his probably brought him here before, off camera. Kind of trying to acclimate him to the troupe.
Because I've never seen a dump off behave so calmly before. Usually they're freaking out, clinging to some towel they brought with them, and screeching to high heaven. But not this little guy.

When they give the baby monkeys to the wild mothers they need to just leave. As long as the people are still there the new monkey will think they are a safe place to run and hide from their new life. If they were not there then the new monkey would have to rely on that new mother the only one who is willing to protect her and care for her.
