Our dad was our favorite person. Our rock and our comfort. I wish you all could have known him because to know him was to love him. My lack of tears in this video is purely from SHOCK and numbness from back to BACK losses. Grief is weird.

I just caught up on all your videos and I just finished watching this. I am so sorry for your loss, many condolences&prayers to you and your family. I completely understand, 2019 was the most traumatic year of my life. I had back to back grief myself and it has definitely changed me and I felt the same way you are feeling, it took me a good year or more to get to a place of acceptance of everything that happened. Grief is definitely weird at times and there is no timeline for grief and everyone deals with it in their own way. Take as much time as you need, hugs&prayers🙏🙏

Courtney im so very sorry about the loss of your daddy sending my prayers and love I lost my dad on the 13th of February two years today
My dad passed away at the age of 60 in 2011. He turned 60 Jan 7th, and we celebrated with him, and he passed Feb 12. I got angry with God but never turned away from Him. I just asking God ‘ Why’??? My dad had a brain tumor. My heart goes out to you. I can’t imagine losing both parents that close together. I know you don’t know me, but you’re in my prayers and you are NOT alone. I think there was a reason that things happened how they did. You came back to God and you’re hanging on to Him. Don’t lose faith or hope. Take some time with your family and for yourself. That’s a lot of stress and grief to work through. My faith in God also got me through it. I was also a single mom going through a divorce at the time and going to college. Hold tight to your Faith.

Both of my parents have passed, my Dad passed suddenly the day before his and Mom 53rd anniversary in January 2004. The night of visitation a family friend asked me how are you holding together, why aren’t you falling apart? I told her I maybe in a split second. I told her that I believe that God helps you by making you numb to get through the process of all of the funeral planning and everything else and I have to be strong for my Mom because not only is Dad gone but it happened the day before their anniversary. God truly gets you through it all. I learned to let myself grieve and do so with my Mom and my family. After my Dad passed his oldest sister passed 2 months later and then another of his brothers 6 months later. It get a little crazy because we are all so close knit. I am grateful that we had our Mom until January 2019. At that point her mind was not good and as hard as it was she at least went peacefully. My prayers go out to you and your family Courtney for peace and comfort during such a difficult time. Give y you our self Grace. Cling to your family, it will get you through. ❤🙏🏼
My heart breaks for you, Courtney -- I lost my dad the same way (sudden cardiac arrest) in 2012 and I miss him everyday, he was my hero and the best dad ever, I will be sending much love and many prayers your way in the coming days and weeks

Grief is hard. Anger is a part of grief and it can be difficult to get through. My dad died of a sudden heart attack. I had talked with him on the phone the nite before and told him Id see him the next day. I can imagine it is so hard for you losing your parents so close together. I’m very sorry. So sorry hear of your dad passing, t you are in my prayers and thoughts. I didn’t know how you lost both your parents so close together. I lost my dad 28 years ago and I still grieve after all those years. Cause I felt the same way about my dad. He was the glue that held our family together. And to still have my mom has helped with allot of the grief but I still think of him everyday. I look in the mirror and I see him in me so much it scares me sometimes. But I have truly grown in the lord over the years.
