- If there was ever any doubt about what the next big thing is, pay close attention. The era of the sport utility vehicle is here. At the 2021 Barrett-Jackson Las Vegas Auction, classic utilitarian off-roaders like Ford’s Bronco, Toyota’s Land Cruiser and the iconic Land Rover Defender further punctuated the trend as one not to miss. Las Vegas saw some incredible machines cross the block, including a custom 1971 Chevrolet K5 Blazer that sold for $181,500, closely followed by Kevin Hart’s monster truck-esque ’77 Ford Bronco at $139,700. It’s a great time to be part of the collector car hobby!

I had a 1973 Blazer a long time ago. If I only knew........................
These auctions are making it untouchable for the average enthusiast.
There is always the s10 blazer
The second car, the Bronco- that upholstery was commonly called diamond tuck in the 70's- hot rodders did it all the time. You could get a diamond tuck interior done in Tijuana in the 70's cheap.
That Chevy Blazer looked great. It's a shame that Chevy ruined the Blazer name with the new SUV.
I thought I had seen that 77 bronco before. Jay leno and Kevin hart. That is a funny team. Loving these barrett jackson videos! Thanks for posting them here
Dude man that's so crazy,...✌😎
It is more exciting not knowing the price before you show the bidding
77 was a fine year..😁👍
First generation jeep srt8 2006 to 2010 will be up on that stage one day
#5 was my favorite
08:20 the best bronco in the world😍😍😍😍😍
$150k for a Bronco. You people have lost your minds lol
Certainly not taking it in the woods!
The gap between rich vs. poor is growing
@@ChicanoOne760 go get a better job then bro
@@kylekashner2786 I'm trying. Ur mom looks to haggard though
@@ChicanoOne760 It's too and that's a terrible come back 😒 I don't think most of these people are spending hard earned money
Even the last Blazer they said
1971 ,,,it’s a 1967 to 1968 Front end and Crome molding
Chrome
@@d.spillett2682
I had a 1971 K5 .
Different hood, grill and different chrome molding..
67 - 68 did not have side lights on fender and back quarter panel.
1969 to 1972 Had Side lights on fenders and quarter panels.
Tom, I was just telling you it’s “Chrome,” not “Crome” basically being a smart ass.
But, 68 did have side marker reflectors and 67 did not.
It's so weird seeing Hoovie walking around the sidelines and milling around the cars and never hearing from him.
Stay tuned for more Hoovie content!
Unfortunately he was found dead
Be good to have an original factory stock truck. Dont like the custom paint and non original power train. Or crazy lift.
4:27 the roof 🥴🥴
Phone bidder ...body work on a couple looked questionable 😳 I paid how much ❕❔Probably why Hoovies mic was off
Just here looking for a Hoovie cameo
More Hoovie to come!
Gray K5 Blazer, they said 1971,
But it has a 1968 front end..
68-72 all had the exact same front end
@@Fatassyou9000
My first truck was 1972 Chevy SWB.
1967-68
Different fenders ,grill and
Chrome molding,
(67 had small back window)
1969 Taller hood , 6 lug wheels,
1971 -72 Different grill ,5 lug wheels.
Look them up,
Very different look on 67 to 72.
@@Fatassyou9000 wrong. 67-68 the grill is different and the hood points down to an angle. 69-70 it had a chrome grill and the hood was more squared. 71-72 the grill is different.
Jeep Gladiator? Is that supposed to be a pickup or a suv?
Def not an suv. But that particular one was butt ass ugly.
that 6x6 G-wagon needs a power-upgrade from DieselpumpUK. ruclips.net/video/yRkhXSCJrB8/видео.html
9:10 - "New power DRUM brakes" - on a $100K+ vehicle? Yikes...
Yep those class 8 trucks people brake check coming down the highway most have drum brakes all around. When in good working condition as with anything they do the job well. My daily driver as a teenager was a 63 tempest wagon that was highly modified and ran low 12's and over 100mph daily...Yep drum brakes all four corners even inside the rear ford 9 inch with Mickey Thompson L50 15's
Man it's like I annoying or what
Why all cars have pimp looking style rims?? 2000s are over 😒
