He managed to hit with the DI, but the spike came out a couple of frames later than he expected and cancelled the pushback from DI, that would've stunned Chun.
E: wait this setup doesn't work either way: if he gets a perfectly tight spike into DI block string, he doesn't get the stun, he gets a "blocked" status or whatever it's called.
