Your video's are really informative...thank you brother
Thank you.. great video!
Thank you!
If you reading this, have a good day and be safe. God bless you 🙏🏻❤️
I am, thank you.
Nice, I use the Samson Q2U and is soooo amaziiing!
You're back!
I am!
One advantage of the USB mic some are not always aware of is that because it's digital before the audio reaches your computer there is no ground hum or noise introduced by motherboard components (far more commons in laptops).
For years I've been using the blue snowball mic for live streams or recording my computer screen..it just works and has great sound. Your mic sounds good
Thanks Herman! Yeah I have seen a lot of people using the snowball. I think that one is about twice as much though right?

The best webcam/mic setup I've found for syncing the audio is by feeding through OBS, and then getting OBS virtual camera installed and using it that way.
I personally have a capture card so dont have any issues, but you can delay your mic to match your video latency.
You can use OBS to adjust audio and/or video delay to get A/V in sync. Then use the OBS VirtualCam plugin to present the composited/synced OBS output as a "webcam" that you can use in Zoom, Skype, etc. Here's a link to the VirtualCam plugin - obsproject.com/forum/resources/obs-virtualcam.949/
I'm a Linux user myself, so haven't tested this exact setup but I achieve essentially the same thing using OBS with a Yeti Pro mic and EOS M200 via HDMI capture and a virtual camera export on Ubuntu.
Hope there are enough tips in here to help point you in the right direction. A small contribution to say thanks for all I've leaned from you about the M50 🙂
Thanks. I was thinking that OBS could do that. Thank you for confirmation! 🔥👊
@@TheCrowleyCrew In your case, you'll want to add audio delay via the audio advanced settings for your mic input. Easy way to do this is record using OBS and clap your hands. Then review the footage in a video editor and use the frame offset where your hands meet from the audio peek of the clap to estimate the audio delay required in milliseconds.
Doing this will also mean your audio/video are in sync when live streaming with OBS 👍
Great Vid and that lighting on the b roll is amazing! So the mic is advertised as zero latency which is questionable for a mic at this price-range, so it could be just down to your computer struggling to buffer the analogue to digital signal in time/sync.Have a look at the graphics card or system preferences for adjusting the latency, depending on your recording software you should be able to adjust in post.
I have one those..good value bought mines for voice overs for my vids...fifine worths the money...#teamcanon
Definitely. I was actually surprised at how much I liked in compared to the VXR-10 I have been using for 2 1/2 years.
@@TheCrowleyCrew yea and with audacity i record my voice overs
Nice. I had software from when I bought my editing program, but I have audacity and should look into that.
Your graphics card may the problem. Some older graphics cards and cpus don't play well with streaming software like OBS or SLOBS. It can even be true with Adobe and Camtasia. I hope you discover a good work around. Stay safe out there!
I have the same mic. It's pretty good and cheap. Be careful because the tightening ring is kind of cheap. I can no long adjust mine. It stays in 1 position now.
Thanks for the tip. I hope to get a boom are in the not to distant further.
Have you figured out how to fix the out-of-sync audio and video yet when using the canon webcam utility as a webcam in video conferences?
I haven’t. Life has been crazy for me and I haven’t had the opportunity to try things.
@@TheCrowleyCrew I've been researching for the past 2 hours and I think that there are 2 solutions. One is using OBS as an intermediate because in OBS you can adjust mic delay. So its just through trial and error to line up the audio with video and then you use OBS as video and audio for Zoom. (This method I have no tested yet, but will in a bit after I figure out all the details). The second method requires purchasing HDMI video cards and essentially going the route of not using the webcam utility. I haven't done extensive research on that one and was focusing on the other one since it requires purchasing.
I have been looking at usb mics to up my audio on zoom calls, I have also looked at the rode wireless so I could use that for more things but the cost is much higher, how does the movo vxr10 work for this , I will need an adapter
You would need an adapter that can provide phantom power to use the VXR10. I don’t know of what would work.
The Crowley Crew it seems to work here: ruclips.net/video/agTgiFeflCE/видео.html
Anybody know how to use my Rode VideoMic Go with my laptop. I have a single headphone/mic jack but it doesn't seem to work with the Rode.
Had the same problem. Some people have said that an audio recording between the two works but I could get it to. The main problem is that the computer doesn’t provide phantom power.
Not sure if it's me but I'm sure a link to the USB micro phone that was talked about would be below, but I can't see one?
🤦♂️ thanks so much! I meant to do that and forgot.
Just added that.
Any solution or work around for syncing the audio yet?
The only free one I found is OBS.
Thanks
@@TheCrowleyCrew any updates here? Should I go ahead and use OBS for this? How did you get your video and audio to sync for this video?
Oops I don’t see any thumbs down so I will give you wan because without at least one thumbs down I know you will not be happy and I’m all about making you happy
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 thanks!
