eminems first verse was INSANE but the final verse put me shock first time when i heard it . his imagination is something that needs to be studied for eons to come. its funny because kendrick killed his verse but STILL didnt out-rap eminems first verse
i was 15 when this dropped and liked it, then got disappointed that they didn't do some Renegade type stuff when i got older. now i've looped back around to liking this, shouts out being goofy
I feel you on the perceived vibe of a Goat talk record but honestly Dot wasn't in the position to have that convo with Em that early. However now, now we need that fr for the Culture 👏
This song is so good. I missed it originally but was listening to Busta talking about rewriting verses for Calm Down with Em and how fun competitive they got and it led me to this song which Em brought Kendrick in just to do the hook and ended up asking him, after hearing his hook, if he wanted to write a verse And he did , so he wrote his verse and Em liked it so…. I could also listen to Em and Wayne rap all day long. Em and Tech 9 Speedum is great and the speed of some of it… well, you know how they are😁
Fun fact: Eminem and Jay Z is Kendrick's favorite artists. If you listen to Kendrick's music you can hear the Em influence (Think Em first 3 album). Think storytelling, the voices, etc. Another thing is MMLP2 came out in Oct. 2013. GKMC came out Oct. 2011. So this is a young Kendrick doing this song.
Em invited Kendrick over. Em asked Kendrick to write to verse after listening to the beat. Em asked Kendrick to have his friends wait outside. Since then they have been tight.
backstory on this song- em invited kendrick and top dawg to the studio then kicked everyone out but kendrick when he did his verse bc he thought he had a ghost writer then kendrick laid his verse within 45 minutes cuz he’s a goat
not exactly backstory but a lil info for MADEIN93 this song is mainly about em and kdots relationship with rap/ hip hop itself, there are mentions of relationships with women sprinkled in there though.
Story telling got your face screwed up so much the camera kept losing focus 😂.
😂😂😂
As an elder millennial, watching this reaction brought me so much joy

Gotta hit Groundhog Day from MMLP2
this was such a legendary collab especially bc they didnt use a basic beat or even subject matter, which makes it stand out more
Love how the song is a double about Em and the rap game.

This track grows on me each listen. It’s a shock to the ears at first until you start understanding it & it makes more & more sense

The over double meaning of this song is crazy.
this and damn are about the only songs i can listen to with kendrick in it.
em wrecked this
🔥🔥🔥🔥 great reaction! this is one of those I play when having a good time! 😎👍
I think this was like Godzilla where he asked Dot for the hook then said you gotta verse?
sadly JW passed before he could jump on it
I’ve noticed that most of the lyric/videos have many words wrong but I would like to see more of ‘Em ft, Kendrick in the future
I watch every reaction, and this is my favorite reaction of yours that you’ve done😂

Need another collab from them but not on a beat like this..
This song is a whole double.....Mainly about the rap game though not a girl
Kendrick is an exceptional Emcee....he's a great. Probably only second to Marshall nowadays IMO. Maybe I'm a bit biased, but I think it's a fair take.
“You wanted an intimate date, I wanted in to my date”
I wish that lyric vid got it right because it’s fooled every reactor I’ve seen 😤
Intimidate
The lyric video is correct. “I wanna intimidate”
I have always wanted to hate this song. But the word play is just too damn good.
What is there to hate? The little kid voices uses 4 times?
I hate this song but these are my two favorite poets.

He was just confirming he didn’t have one. Didn’t think he had one or he would never have invited him in the first place
This song is weird, comical. Low key corny😅
Good point about not catering to kdots style, which makes you realize how good he is cus of the weird beat but still killed the flow like Em did
