Only issue i have with this. Every single hero has martial skill. Matrial skill is just knowing how to properly fight. Just because the heros are chinese and and utlizes showy chinese martial arts (which, i want to say, its been shown that traditional chinese martial arts are showy but not effective in a real fight). I do wish you atleast took into consideration real world fights as tiandi would just get stabbed when he tried to dodge and turn his back. Hed do some flashy dodge and shamen would tackle him and shank him over and over again.
Shaolin probably should've had hyperarmor because in real life, they have durable skin, able to survive bricks and stabs, and break wood, bricks, and walk on hot coals.
Conqueror should honestly be way higher than that. He has arguably the best defense of the whole cast with full plate armor AND a shield. His weapon may not be the easiest to use, have the longest range or be the most versatile but it is effective against non armored and armored opponents. He can probably close the gap with an opponent with the defense his shield gives him. He got ranked so low because of his weapon but I don't think it is such a major issue. His defensive capabilities clearly outweigh any potential problem his weapon may have.
@@RavenKnightYT ok, I guess he doesn't have full plate actually. It kinda feels like he has some sort of chest armor considering how massive his chest is though. I'm sure that his weapon wouldn't be that much of a hindrance to someone who knows how to use it. Conqueror knows how to use this weapon and if it was that much of a danger he wouldn't use it. In fact, nobody would. Any weapon can be mastered. He would no doubt be more effective with a more conventional weapon but to say that it would be so terribly inconvenient seems a bit too overblown. His offense seemed to be the problem, but his weapon would be far better against armored opponents than half the weapons of heroes ranked higher.
@@RavenKnightYT plate armor has disadvanteges in combat, I think it was more used with the combo knight + horse to compensate for the lack of mobility and fatigue that wearing that armor gave. And the armor he's wearing is probably something similar to the gambeson which was made with cloth or leather and was pretty capable of stopping a blade, not to count he's most likely to be using a chain mail armor beneath that as it usually was done in medieval times. the only thing I think is bad with him is the flail, it is a problematic weapon with a tone of weaknesses, if he had a MACE then he would unstoppable, and I don't think it was actually used in battles.
I agree with your desision on goki. His weapon is by far one of the if not the most devestating of all karakters. There is very little armor that could take hit from that club and not get dented in to some degree. At that size of club body blows also become deadly cause you are breaking ribs if you get hit.
I bet Medjay's staff thingy has some twist lock mechanism or something They stick the axes together tight then twist to lock it into place in a little hook thing inside, then to detach they'll push it inwards to unhook it, twist it and pull it apart to go back to axe mode.
Something that wasn't covered that I kinda wish was taken into effect is the "extra" weapons that, yes they don't actually utilize in game, are on their default outfits. Example is Shaman's shield, Kensal Dagger, Etc. Something that could have changed these slightly though I also understand why they were ignored.
I wonderif this list would be affected based on some of the characters other armor sets. I think some of Nobus other armors are way better for protection than what she has by default. But I suppose thats why you’re using the default set. Love the content Raven :D
Hey Raven, do you plan on making a video on the final of Maddox and Katla? Imo, it's way too cookier cutter the good guys come in beat up the badguys, and all is well. How would you have written it?
Love those Rankings mate! I figured Lawbringer would come out on top considering his vey effective armor and Weapon. Maybe do a Deadliest Warrior but for the For Honor characters you create?
I'd definitely put Shugoki's ranking below Varangian, simply because that shield can deflect a swing, and because of how clumsy such a weapon is, leave him open. Lot of his kit can just be nullified with a shield, which means I'd consider placing him even below Prior.
You underrate shugos strength. If you hold up a kite shield and have shugo smash it he will break your arm. I agree that his armor is lacking slightly but shugo is a 6-7 foot tall sumo with the strength and speed to dodge attacks. The kanabo is a absolutely devastating weapon that will crumble through 90% of armor. And consider that the varagian mostly uses mail armor, so it can't even absorb most of the force
@@nickbutler9831 it's not strength I underestimate, but his control over the weapon. And yes, it'll break your arm IF you just meet the blow with a shield. But a slight angle, and the big heavy round stick is gonna take all that strength and throw it sideways
@@swvwc8393 shugo is more than capable of wielding his weapon with skill and finesse. He's strong enough to faint the attacks. The risk to reward of attempting to deflect is very slim, being that shugo is between 6-7 feet tall, around 6'8 I believe and his weapon is between 4'5-5' long. His arms and his weapon give him an extreme reach advantage of a weapon that, even with armor, will punch through and kill
I d say you did put the Kensei, Orochi and may be Shoguki pretty high seeing they use wood armors. Did you take this into account ? I don't know how solid those kind of armors are really but I d' say Orochi should be 18th if not 19th in this regard, Kensei behind highlander or atleast tiandi. Shugoki is thick thougth so i d say he could be 7th or stay 4th it would'nt bother me any way. And i think Shaolin should go up above shaman cause of the reach advantage is massive and just one solid hit anywhere on the head or the limbs, even if not lethal would put at disadvantage unprotected heros from Ocelotl to Shaman, may be even Aramush, for the rest of the fight. Cool video noneless ! You got a new subscriber ~~
I would have put Shugoki under warden because when looking at his default armor he is exposed on the side. Other than that, I really agree with how they were placed
oh yea no doubt kyoshin doesn't have a guard on his sword medjay can used that for advantage and get to his fingers and cut them off i hate kyoshin for this reason
I don't want to sound rude , but Goki has also more body muscle and body fat than most of the other heroes. Which means that, even of you manage to hit the armor, there is also an extra biological layer of protection to bones and organs.
I really think Kyoshin would win vs Shaman. A diciplined swordsman vs a shroomhead, he has the range advantage. While yes the axe and knife combo is something we hear about in sagas they're usually shown as the weaker/desperate option and dirty tricks would have to be used to achive victory (throwing the knife at someones toes f.eks)
Do I like that Warden got ranked 3 ranks lower than last time? No But the 3 that stood in his way absolutely make sense The Varangian Guard’s shield is inferior to Black Prior’s no doubt, but the axe was well explained in how it was superior to BP’s sword. Bludgeoning weapons are simply superior to slashing weapons, and her armour is gonna be more effective than BP’s I will also say that another thing going for Shugoki that you didn’t mention is his body That is a LOT of fat and muscle, that CAN cushion a potentially fatal blow Like, a deep cut into Shugoki’s stomach will still be a deep cut, but with so much fat and muscle, PLUS semi decent armour over top, I’d say about the only thing that COULD get through would be Hitokiri’s axe or a stab from Warden’s sword, and even then, they’d still probably lose to Shugoki due to their body types and inability to properly defend or brace themselves for a bludgeoning attack, ESPECIALLY when that bludgeoning attack is coming from a KANABO There are advantages to be found in a round body type I also agree that Pirate is above Shugoki because of her pistol, but I’ll also add that she does need to close the distance or be a REALLY good shot for that pistol to be worthwhile Because flintlock pistols, are NOTORIOUS for how inaccurate and almost unreliable they are For one thing, if the powder gets wet, that thing is fucking useless, the second gunpowder gets wet, it can be ignited and the pistol can’t fire a shot, also (I looked this up as I was typing the comment so if a fire arms expert can correct me if I’m wrong, feel free) the shorter barrel and distance between the barrel and the little ball they fired meant that there wasn’t much keeping the shot from going STRAIGHT TO ITS TARGET Obviously if you’re in close range it won’t be a major issue But if we had a 20-30 metre shootout between Pirate’s flintlock pistol and Nobushi’s bow and arrows, I think I’d place my money on Nobushi, because no way in hell would I give that to Pirate
By the way raven I have a question between Disney villains and Dreamworks villains who do you prefer (Personally I lean more towards Dreamworks I feel like more of their villains are better written than Disney)
Agility would be great for many heroes, but for someone like peacekeeper to go up against lawbringer or even a warden, she'd have to get a very well placed and quick strike while praying they won't be hit when getting close enough to stab or slash. It'd only take one powerful strike for a lawbringer to put peacekeeper in the dirt.
@@RenatoGarciaDaRochaGodoy That's not the point. I was just being facetious by celebrating that the characters I dislike are on the bottom. It wasn't anything serious.
id has to be HAS TO BE LB at the top: he is the only one who has both full plate armor and a weapon that can easily defeat full plate, most other heroes have one or the other (some have neither), easy choice
When the armors look alot better in the trailer than in the game, looking at the Warden and Warlord. Wardens chest by default even with one show case of it in the trailer is freaking ugly.
So, I need to ask. Is black prior's not counted as a tower shield do to it's sheer size? the varangian guard looks more like a proper kite shield than BP's shield, but I don't know mideval weaponry like you
It’s more the shape of it than anything else, I would say it’s more like an oversized heater shield than a tower shield, as those were largely more square in shape and were more of a formation fighters’ weapon, think the greatshields from the Souls games/a Roman legion’s shield formations, those would use tower shields, while kite shields were more pointed and designed to defend the cavalry’s (who would mostly use them) legs
I feel like I would have at least swapped Centurion and Orochi. Like, Ok, the Katana might give you a bit more reach than a Gladius. . . But what is a Katana going to realistically do to Roman iron armor? Not to mention the obvious strength advantage the Cent clearly has
Now the Devs need to make a new Outlander that has a Musket with a bayonet attached to knock the Lawbringer from the top spot. Since Pirate wiped 31 warriors with a pistol 😏👏👏👏
For me I think shugokki should have been near kensei or warden. He should not be in the top five because strength alone won’t protect him. Lack of armor against weapons like swords and guns are something skin and bones won’t protect you from. However I do think he should be above kensei cause his weapon has similar reach and good against armor.
Ooooof. . .he put my boi ocelotl so low. . .but he has the facts to back it up so its fine also i thought pirate woild be the deadliest because. . .well gun go brrrrr
People greatly underestimate the power of high medieval armor. Many early guns could not penetrate the more high tier armor like what Lawbringer wears. The reason guns became more prominent is because they were less expensive to manufacture.

aaaand my replies are mysteriously getting deleted, the owner of this channel is such a nice person. apologies for the long text. I liked your video and I think you did a good analysis on what you proposed yourself to, but, I'm afraid your video was way to limited to the warrior's gears and not the warriors themselves. For example, I think you underestimated the peacekeeper, although I too think she's out of place in a battlefield and more well suited in incursions like in the knight's campaing (for honor gamemodes are limited), she is a match for plenty of warriors you put ahead of her in the video on one-on-one combat, taking a look at her gear you can quickly assume she's proficient in counter-attacks, and trust me if you know how to counter-attack with efficiency you can take down a big brute, if he can't fight as well as you do, he's gonna lose, even if he has an armor like the law-bringer she can easliy put that dagger into the gaps of his armor, more so considering that his weapon is for long-range and she is fast, probably a lot more than you think so. Man can be great warriors while being stupid, if a woman is a great warrior the last thing she is is stupid, that kinda counts for smaller man as well, their fighting style is based on training. The light armor and her weapons that are more ideal to close combat are both planned to favor her speed and technique, as she's a woman she's smaller and lighter than most warriors, and if you see her movelist, a lot of her attacks are called "dance" and there's a good reason to it (and I think Is a really cool one), she's weak and a lot of warrios could probably lift her with one hand, so in order to stand up against them she has to have a great notion of her body (Its called Bodily-kinesthetic intelligence), she calulates the moves from her feet to her shoulders to maximize the strength of an attack, she has to be rotating her hips, spinning, quickly changing feet and legs positons, constantly dodging, jumping, squating, she can't just stand in front of her opponent like the warden, she has to MOVE, that's why it ressembles a dance. I don't think you actually know how much optimized moves and speed is important in a fight bro, since she uses sharp weapons fast moves deliver a shit tone of energy to an impact, cause y'know... being stabbed by a woman hurts just the same as being stabbed by a dude, but taking a punch or being hit by a hammer is a different story. So by the size of the text maybe I gave the impression that I think this character is john wick, but I just wanted to give the merit it deserves, of course, if some viking grabbed her by the neck he would crack it fastest than a blink, fights are unpredictable.

Great video, but I have to add one thing. The staff Shaolin uses looks like a European quarterstaff, and this weapon is certainly deadly. Suffice it to say that with correct technique and use of the hips you can easily crush bones. Additionally, the For Honor version has metal ends, which would probably allow it to deal serious damage even through armor. I will even go one step further and say Shaolin weapon is one of the better ones in game. All thanks to momentum this weapon create, thanks to momentum a lot weapons like swords cant even block strikes and have extremely hard time to parry. All that witch 1 inch thic and 5-6 ft long piece of wood.
@RavenKnightYT Ok, I have to strongly disagree with one of your choices in this list, for a couple reasons: Pirate. Boasting next to no armour and a falchion as her primary weapon should put Pirate far lower on the list, somewhere in the 20s imo. However, if you’re going to bring her pistol into the equation then Pirate automatically wins the number one slot. Flintlock pistols fire a musket ball that commonly ranges from .50 to .70 caliber when compared to modern rounds. This means that an opponent’s armour would have to a) be steel, and b) be several inches thick in order to stop the ball fired from Pirate’s pistol. No historic armour possesses this trait as the weight of the armour would make it useless. There are even more contemporary real-world examples of this being attempted - such as the last stand of the Australian outlaw Ned Kelly and his gang in the 1880s who fitted themselves with armour fashioned from derelict plows; the steel of which being about 2-3 inches thick. These were defeated by Henry repeaters firing .44 caliber rounds, albeit with more velocity than a flintlock musket ball, but with less energy transfer. Medieval armour would stand 0 chance against either. There’s a reason that armour became phased out with the invention of the gun. Therefore Pirate imo must either be number 1 if you acknowledge the gun, or somewhere in the low to mid 20s if you ignore it.
Wait what? Shikoki at 4th but yet yorm is one of the first to die? The argument you use for Shiko is the same that can be said for yorm just less armor. Other than that good vid
I shall explain. First, Jormungandr is less armored than Shugoki is. Second, the hammer that Jorm uses has only a single and small striking point while the kanabo has multiple. Three, the hammer has a shorter reach, and the lack of armor will not aid in protection. Four, the hammer lacks in defensive capabilities, while the kanabo is far longer and can be used to block and defend. Five, size alone gives Shugoki an enormous weight advantage for how much force they can generate. They are not the same.
In my opinion Warden should be placed a little lower (he's similar to Kensei, maybe with better armor), while Aramusha should be a little higher (dual wielded swords allow for great defence and offence, as you can parry and stab/slash at the same time).
Why is everything based on being punched in the face and punching the other guy harder there's more to warriors than just armor or hacking. speed, stratergy and adaptability are lacking in this analysis these sound like total war units than actual 1v1 lol
When you can give me an objective criteria of each warriors level of strategic capability and adaptability, I will gladly edit this list...but seeing as you can't...

He isn't wearing full plate armor.
The weapon is a hindrance as much as it is a danger. It is an issue.
His defensive abilities are not enough.
Man that old For Honor music brings weird feelings dunnit
I agree with your desision on goki. His weapon is by far one of the if not the most devestating of all karakters. There is very little armor that could take hit from that club and not get dented in to some degree. At that size of club body blows also become deadly cause you are breaking ribs if you get hit.
I bet Medjay's staff thingy has some twist lock mechanism or something
They stick the axes together tight then twist to lock it into place in a little hook thing inside, then to detach they'll push it inwards to unhook it, twist it and pull it apart to go back to axe mode.
My guess is either lawbringer or someone like the Varangian guard. I hope my pride and joy of Ocelotl is too low on the list
If "one" of the chain links on that flail breaks then you're just left holding a stick! And not even a good stick...

LOVE IT
I'd definitely put Shugoki's ranking below Varangian, simply because that shield can deflect a swing, and because of how clumsy such a weapon is, leave him open.
One of conq counter points IS that the flail IS supussed to be a on Horse weapon
i will definitely argue that medjay would be more effective in a battlefield rather than kyoshin.
oh yea no doubt kyoshin doesn't have a guard on his sword medjay can used that for advantage and get to his fingers and cut them off i hate kyoshin for this reason
Meds weapon is very unpractical and much of his body is exposed.
Aranusha an pk weapon choice really shine on a civil duel context were armor IS not really an issue and de dual weapons can open a lot of oportunities
But the speed! The deadly shinobi speed! The Yellow Flash would like a word

Sorry
@@RavenKnightYTDon’t worry, I’ll watch it tmrw when I get home
I think a good idea is getting the best armor you think is best and see if the chart changes
Do I like that Warden got ranked 3 ranks lower than last time? No
But the 3 that stood in his way absolutely make sense
The Varangian Guard’s shield is inferior to Black Prior’s no doubt, but the axe was well explained in how it was superior to BP’s sword. Bludgeoning weapons are simply superior to slashing weapons, and her armour is gonna be more effective than BP’s
I will also say that another thing going for Shugoki that you didn’t mention is his body
That is a LOT of fat and muscle, that CAN cushion a potentially fatal blow
Like, a deep cut into Shugoki’s stomach will still be a deep cut, but with so much fat and muscle, PLUS semi decent armour over top, I’d say about the only thing that COULD get through would be Hitokiri’s axe or a stab from Warden’s sword, and even then, they’d still probably lose to Shugoki due to their body types and inability to properly defend or brace themselves for a bludgeoning attack, ESPECIALLY when that bludgeoning attack is coming from a KANABO
There are advantages to be found in a round body type
I also agree that Pirate is above Shugoki because of her pistol, but I’ll also add that she does need to close the distance or be a REALLY good shot for that pistol to be worthwhile
Because flintlock pistols, are NOTORIOUS for how inaccurate and almost unreliable they are
For one thing, if the powder gets wet, that thing is fucking useless, the second gunpowder gets wet, it can be ignited and the pistol can’t fire a shot, also (I looked this up as I was typing the comment so if a fire arms expert can correct me if I’m wrong, feel free) the shorter barrel and distance between the barrel and the little ball they fired meant that there wasn’t much keeping the shot from going STRAIGHT TO ITS TARGET
Obviously if you’re in close range it won’t be a major issue
But if we had a 20-30 metre shootout between Pirate’s flintlock pistol and Nobushi’s bow and arrows, I think I’d place my money on Nobushi, because no way in hell would I give that to Pirate
can't wait for viking, samurai, chinese and mercenary mains to start shouting knight bias
Man I wish for the next update Raven goes best armor possible. I think that would be bonkers.
I'm pretty sure it doesn't change much, except for a few characters.
Yes you are right
By the way raven I have a question between Disney villains and Dreamworks villains who do you prefer
(Personally I lean more towards Dreamworks I feel like more of their villains are better written than Disney)
Hey Raven, I know you’re probably a little more versed in history. But have you considered agility like how well they could move in their armor?
Agility would be great for many heroes, but for someone like peacekeeper to go up against lawbringer or even a warden, she'd have to get a very well placed and quick strike while praying they won't be hit when getting close enough to stab or slash. It'd only take one powerful strike for a lawbringer to put peacekeeper in the dirt.
I am pleased the three characters i hate fighting the most were on the bottom 10/10
bruh you don't have to watch the video to know that the shinobi with his gardening gear wouldn't do well in the middle of the warfare
While I do love the list, I will live and die on the hill that Lawbringer and Varangian guard are (equally) the deadliest of all FH warriors
Lawbringer will always win. Full plate long range versatile. In game, not so much
Lawbringer is the male warmonger.
I feel like I would have at least swapped Centurion and Orochi. Like, Ok, the Katana might give you a bit more reach than a Gladius. . . But what is a Katana going to realistically do to Roman iron armor? Not to mention the obvious strength advantage the Cent clearly has
I think Warden would go higher than VG, as he does have reach. Warden has better armor, but VG has a defensive weapons. So for me it’s 50/50.
Gryphon is the strongest because his mongol version brings the plague with his pet rats!!!! 🐎🐎🐎🏹🏹🏹
I guessed lawbringer was gonna be in the top 5
did not think he'd be N1
still i agree with all of this
Good to be #7 in the list black prior is my favorite though the Varangian is starting to earn my left hand side
I think Valkyrie and Warlord should be put lower because their armor is leather and not metal
True, but their shields make for compensation.
I approve of this list.
Lawdaddy on Top
Don’t mess with the law
Im surprised that Gladiator was that far up the list
Now the Devs need to make a new Outlander that has a Musket with a bayonet attached to knock the Lawbringer from the top spot. Since Pirate wiped 31 warriors with a pistol 😏👏👏👏
For me I think shugokki should have been near kensei or warden. He should not be in the top five because strength alone won’t protect him. Lack of armor against weapons like swords and guns are something skin and bones won’t protect you from. However I do think he should be above kensei cause his weapon has similar reach and good against armor.
Currently at 12, I swear if pirate is #1 because of the pistol Im gonna lose it

Wouldn't the pirate be objectively be the deadliest? It's the only character with a gun...

Ya know, I actually was reading your comment and getting behind your points initially. Ok, I have to strongly disagree with one of your choices in this list, for a couple reasons: Pirate.
Yes lawdaddy and war mommy win
Why is everything based on being punched in the face and punching the other guy harder there's more to warriors than just armor or hacking. speed, stratergy and adaptability are lacking in this analysis these sound like total war units than actual 1v1 lol
When you can give me an objective criteria of each warriors level of strategic capability and adaptability, I will gladly edit this list...but seeing as you can't...
