idk if you remember the Katy Perry OPI collection from YEARS ago, but there was a pink and blue holo polish (the blue was Teenage Dream i think) and they were my favorite colors. the ones from this collection is so reminiscent of them, not exact dupes, but close enough that i might need to pick them up

I love Zoya and because of the last two polishes in this collection they are my favorite. That's what I own from them is Shimmers and Metallics and Foil looking polish. Smooth application and stunning polish. I then like Precious, Brynlee, Lennon. There's a lot to choose from in the polish world and I return to Zoya and a few others because of the formula and the creams are smooth and self-leveling. I personally like the color selection that Zoya has to offer I feel they have a huge selection. The colors here are beautiful great swatches Kelli Thank You!

Now I bought several different polishes including some of your collabs with the wide flat brush...GAME CHANGER. I am a wide flat brush girl for life. I really enjoy what you do here and it helps me learn about products and decide how I want to spend my money
I always appreciated having the option for different brush sizes. Lots of brands charge for the brush choice like Holo Taco and such, but only Zoya seems to get flack for it? So strange lol Lovely swatches as always, and it's great to see them switching things up again. Also my Halloween advent calendar just arrived, and I'm so excited!
I stock up on Zoya in April when they do their Earth day sale (and I can send in any old polish for recycling). I will probably pick up those holos and that purple 🙂 I have seen some similar comments about weird nail trend names from salon workers! Like people coming in wanting blueberry milk nails and they're like oh it's just a pale blue/jelly? It started with the "glazed donut" nails. I had to look up what that was supposed to be and it was booooooring.

Brynly and pamela both resonated with me. I've not seen Zoya around much; I tend to gravitate to the darker polishes for fall like plums and I even liked Eleanor
First of all, I like this collection muuuch more than I have other recent Zoya collections. Frenchy, Lennon, Twinklette and Eleanor are my favs 😍. Second of all, I continue to love your swatches and reviews, they brighten my day and I look so forward to them! 🤗 And third of all, definitely browns trending but also- dark purples, nudes, Oranges (of course 🧡), dark greens and “viva magenta.” Basically I read too much about color trends 😂🤷🏻♀️ there are more but this is already a long comment
I couldn't agree with you more about returning shades with new names. I felt like this summer all we saw were the same neons that we got last summer just with the new names. Spring also it was nothing but pastel creams everywhere I feel like nobody got creative. I'm hoping that we will see a revitalization of unique shades, colors, and textures with the coming seasons. I have been leaning hard on the indie brands. Because I felt like a lot of the mainstream like Zoya were just repeating themselves. I'm glad you reviewed this collection. I'm gonna have to go have a look and see what else they've come up with. 😊

Those holo jellies are gorgeous! With Zoya, if I don’t see it on your channel or a color doesn’t jump out at me on hbbeauty, I don’t notice it 🤷♀️ I have like 10 in my collection and some I’m like yes beautiful. Other times it’s like it’s pretty but I don’t wear it.
I normally don't like pinks, but Vera and Brynlee were very pretty. Brynlee reminded me of my grandmother's mulberry jam. It was almost that color. I might need to get Jean and Twinklette. What a great collection. I wasn't looking forward to it, but seeing it swatched really makes a difference. I do wish, like you, that Pamela was the color it was in the bottle. Wet, it reminded me of actual violets (fave flower), but dried I have to agree it looks like an eggplant. Such a bummer. It makes one wonder if the satin finish affects the color as it dries. Do you know if there are any polishes that ARE the color of Pamela when it's wet and dry down to that vibrancy?
glad to see zoya making a comeback, the past few collections weren't good in terms of formula and the colours were meh. Usually I'm good at noticing what is "trending" in regards to nail polish collections throughout the year but i can't seem to see a pattern with autumn this time around. will have to wait and see what more is to come i guess!
Great set, beautiful colors! I have a few Zoya polishes but I’ll need to see how well they stay on before buying more. I’m so rough on my nails I get frustrated if the color won’t stay on at least 2-3 days. I’ve gotta start paying closer attention to that aspect and clear out the ones that don’t. 🤷🏼♀️
Maybe it's because of the Mooncat Misfits collection today, but I've noticed a lot of pink for fall. 😂 Or, should I say cotton candy, raspberry, watermelon gumdrop nails I had never heard of Zoya until I saw your videos. I know you haven't posted any China Glaze in a while either, but the new Serpentine collection for Halloween looks interesting.
Hi Kelli, I hope you are doing well. I Love this color story! The polishes are fabulous and the holo ones, omg, they are awesome! Now saying that, what I would love to see is the Polish Twinklette being used as a topper on all of these polishes. I'm one that always has to have a bit of sparkle to my nails. I always use some kind of holo or other topper. I want to see Pamela with Twinklette as a topper. If you use a thin coat of Twinklette I think it would be perfect, of course, you will have to use a Top Coat as well, but Wow I think that would be amazing! Have a great afternoon, hugs and love!
In general, Zoya has been as exciting as OPI lately so I haven't been interested, but as a lover of all things aqua, I am definitely going to pick up Lennon. I meant to comment on your last video when your fun fact talked about fun things to do in NJ. I'm from the MA/NH line north of Boston, but I'm half Jersey on my mom's side, so I have a soft spot for the Garden State. You mentioned going to Jenkinson's. My cousin works at one of the restaurants at PPB! Here in NH we only have 18 miles of shoreline with only 1 truly public beach, so going down the shore with my Mom was always so much more fun than going to the beach up here. My cousin lives about halfway between PPB and Seaside Heights, so I've been to both plenty of times. Though one thing that NH has over NJ - fried dough will beat out funnel cakes any day. 🙂
Gorgeous, I am wearing Jean right now, she is stunning and sooo sparkly :) great review, I asked if they were going to be using the Z Wide as the default but they would not confirm that, however, on their website under the latest polishes they say if you want a Z Wide tick this box and its 50 cents extra, so I am not sure what they are on with.
I have loved Zoya since 2013ish, but the all-cream collections have been less exciting. However, they were still gorgeous colors, applied beautifully, and filled holes in my collection. This feels like older Zoya though, so I'm hyped. Definitely need an update to the Pixie Dusts though (my favorite Zoya finish).
I'm so enamored by two of the polishes behind you. What are the polishes dead center on the green shelf, and the one to the left? Also 100% agree about diving right into spooky vibes for fall. Though I did pick up some beautiful fall polishes from Polish Potion (thanks to your recommendation).
I’m going to try to help you with this, of course I’d need Kelli to confirm - but they’re all orly polishes. I think the one in the center of the greens is Kelli’s Green (her collab with orly) based on the label. I would guess the one to the left is either So Fly or Neon Paradise but it’s hard to tell. I hope this is helpful haha!!
If Zoya changes the default brush to the wide flat one for good, I would start buying their polishes. Otherwise I have only 1 of their brand. I do like this collection!
I had gotten an email about this collection coming out. I decided to get them all along with their September polish, Connor (cause pretty grey plus free shipping ftw). My sister loves grey, so I got a 2nd bottle of that for her. It was nice to see how they apply. The holos made me go "omg I love this". And I couldn't help but just put Connor on my nails the same day it got here. It's so, so pretty. I used to think "ew, brown nail polish?" and then I wore some and went "ok I take it back". So I've no idea if it's a trend for this year or not, I'll be wearing some of my brown polishes probably. I rarely go by season, more of I want to wear this color or that one or whatever. I came across my nail sticker bag the other day and I have some little gerbil nail sticker/decal thingies. I am still deciding on what color to wear under those. (I love gerbies.) But yes, the trendy names for things is a little silly. But if it makes people happy, have at it.
Enjoy not being trendy! There’s nothing wrong with being trendy and enjoying staying on top of trends, but it’s also ok to love whatever personal vibe is going on or not have much of one in general. I’ve seen some random things on how your 30s are for going back and enjoying what you liked when you were younger, and I’ve found that to be fairly accurate in my case. I’ve never been trendy or stylish, but I do feel like I’ve settled into liking what I like in my thirties. My love of emo and pop punk is strong, and my lazy clothing and no makeup vibe is at a very comfortable peak. 😅 My hair and nails are generally where I love to wear bold/fun colors.
Eleanor and Murphy are gorgeous!!! I agree about it not being “cool” to have to buy the wide brush. It DEFINITELY is better for their formula! I don’t like that when I switch out the Z-wide brush, the cap doesn’t meet the bottle anymore. I also don’t like their return policy. I’ve received polishes that I don’t use and cannot stand in the bottle. It looks different than the photos on their site. If you use a coupon on an order, you cannot return anything from the order. Huh?! That’s not okay. 😢
Didn't I see someone (maybe Kelli?) years ago, show us that you're supposed to screw on the replacement cap, then "push down" to get them to meet the bottle? Am I dreaming that? Please attempt and report back, lol.
Although I feel a polish is better if it matches itself in the bottle, I'd rather have the dried version of Pamela as I have plenty of those cool-toned bright purples. I need something deep in a warm-toned purple. I love Brynlee as I have that color in a near neon and this is a great option for fall/winter. Yay, wide brushes default!

Spring also it was nothing but pastel creams everywhere I feel like nobody got creative. I'm hoping that we will see a revitalization of unique shades, colors, and textures with the coming seasons. I have been leaning hard on the indie brands. Because I felt like a lot of the mainstream like Zoya were just repeating themselves. I'm glad you reviewed this collection. I'm gonna have to go have a look and see what else they've come up with. 😊

With Zoya, if I don’t see it on your channel or a color doesn’t jump out at me on hbbeauty, I don’t notice it 🤷♀️ I have like 10 in my collection and some I’m like yes beautiful. Other times it’s like it’s pretty but I don’t wear it.
I normally don't like pinks, but Vera and Brynlee were very pretty. Brynlee reminded me of my grandmother's mulberry jam. It was almost that color. I might need to get Jean and Twinklette. What a great collection. I wasn't looking forward to it, but seeing it swatched really makes a difference. I do wish, like you, that Pamela was the color it was in the bottle. Wet, it reminded me of actual violets (fave flower), but dried I have to agree it looks like an eggplant. Such a bummer. It makes one wonder if the satin finish affects the color as it dries. Do you know if there are any polishes that ARE the color of Pamela when it's wet and dry down to that vibrancy?

glad to see zoya making a comeback, the past few collections weren't good in terms of formula and the colours were meh. Usually I'm good at noticing what is "trending" in regards to nail polish collections throughout the year but i can't seem to see a pattern with autumn this time around. will have to wait and see what more is to come i guess!
Great set, beautiful colors! I have a few Zoya polishes but I’ll need to see how well they stay on before buying more. I’m so rough on my nails I get frustrated if the color won’t stay on at least 2-3 days. I’ve gotta start paying closer attention to that aspect and clear out the ones that don’t. 🤷🏼♀️

This collection as a whole had my brain 🤯 ... but for some reason the two that stuck out to me are Murphy and Eleanor.
Hi Kelli, I hope you are doing well. I Love this color story! The polishes are fabulous and the holo ones, omg, they are awesome! Now saying that, what I would love to see is the Polish Twinklette being used as a topper on all of these polishes. I'm one that always has to have a bit of sparkle to my nails. I always use some kind of holo or other topper. I want to see Pamela with Twinklette as a topper. If you use a thin coat of Twinklette I think it would be perfect, of course, you will have to use a Top Coat as well, but Wow I think that would be amazing! Have a great afternoon, hugs and love!
In general, Zoya has been as exciting as OPI lately so I haven't been interested, but as a lover of all things aqua, I am definitely going to pick up Lennon.
I meant to comment on your last video when your fun fact talked about fun things to do in NJ. I'm from the MA/NH line north of Boston, but I'm half Jersey on my mom's side, so I have a soft spot for the Garden State. You mentioned going to Jenkinson's. My cousin works at one of the restaurants at PPB! Here in NH we only have 18 miles of shoreline with only 1 truly public beach, so going down the shore with my Mom was always so much more fun than going to the beach up here. My cousin lives about halfway between PPB and Seaside Heights, so I've been to both plenty of times. Though one thing that NH has over NJ - fried dough will beat out funnel cakes any day. 🙂
Gorgeous, I am wearing Jean right now, she is stunning and sooo sparkly :) great review, I asked if they were going to be using the Z Wide as the default but they would not confirm that, however, on their website under the latest polishes they say if you want a Z Wide tick this box and its 50 cents extra, so I am not sure what they are on with.
Zoya has never been a favorite brand of mine. Like you, felt uninspired. Some shades i love in this collection, but probably wont order any.

Yeah, they’ve dropped to the bottom of my list. It’s more that I only have so much $$ to spend and it ends up going to indie polish makers instead.
I have loved Zoya since 2013ish, but the all-cream collections have been less exciting. However, they were still gorgeous colors, applied beautifully, and filled holes in my collection. This feels like older Zoya though, so I'm hyped. Definitely need an update to the Pixie Dusts though (my favorite Zoya finish).
I'm so enamored by two of the polishes behind you. What are the polishes dead center on the green shelf, and the one to the left?
Also 100% agree about diving right into spooky vibes for fall. Though I did pick up some beautiful fall polishes from Polish Potion (thanks to your recommendation).
I’m going to try to help you with this, of course I’d need Kelli to confirm - but they’re all orly polishes. I think the one in the center of the greens is Kelli’s Green (her collab with orly) based on the label. I would guess the one to the left is either So Fly or Neon Paradise but it’s hard to tell. I hope this is helpful haha!!

If Zoya changes the default brush to the wide flat one for good, I would start buying their polishes. Otherwise I have only 1 of their brand. I do like this collection!

I had gotten an email about this collection coming out. I decided to get them all along with their September polish, Connor (cause pretty grey plus free shipping ftw). My sister loves grey, so I got a 2nd bottle of that for her. It was nice to see how they apply. The holos made me go "omg I love this". And I couldn't help but just put Connor on my nails the same day it got here. It's so, so pretty.
I used to think "ew, brown nail polish?" and then I wore some and went "ok I take it back". So I've no idea if it's a trend for this year or not, I'll be wearing some of my brown polishes probably. I rarely go by season, more of I want to wear this color or that one or whatever. I came across my nail sticker bag the other day and I have some little gerbil nail sticker/decal thingies. I am still deciding on what color to wear under those. (I love gerbies.)
But yes, the trendy names for things is a little silly. But if it makes people happy, have at it.

Enjoy not being trendy! There’s nothing wrong with being trendy and enjoying staying on top of trends, but it’s also ok to love whatever personal vibe is going on or not have much of one in general.
I’ve seen some random things on how your 30s are for going back and enjoying what you liked when you were younger, and I’ve found that to be fairly accurate in my case. I’ve never been trendy or stylish, but I do feel like I’ve settled into liking what I like in my thirties. My love of emo and pop punk is strong, and my lazy clothing and no makeup vibe is at a very comfortable peak. 😅 My hair and nails are generally where I love to wear bold/fun colors.

I agree about it not being “cool” to have to buy the wide brush. It DEFINITELY is better for their formula! I don’t like that when I switch out the Z-wide brush, the cap doesn’t meet the bottle anymore.
I also don’t like their return policy. I’ve received polishes that I don’t use and cannot stand in the bottle. It looks different than the photos on their site. If you use a coupon on an order, you cannot return anything from the order. Huh?! That’s not okay. 😢
Didn't I see someone (maybe Kelli?) years ago, show us that you're supposed to screw on the replacement cap, then "push down" to get them to meet the bottle? Am I dreaming that? Please attempt and report back, lol.

Although I feel a polish is better if it matches itself in the bottle, I'd rather have the dried version of Pamela as I have plenty of those cool-toned bright purples. I need something deep in a warm-toned purple. I love Brynlee as I have that color in a near neon and this is a great option for fall/winter. Yay, wide brushes default!
