For a 2.4 4 cylinder is very slow for what it is a 2017 Mitsubishi Outlander “similar size and 7 seats” with the 2.4 and CVT is faster than the Journey even tho is still a slow car
I have the same inline 4 in my 2018 Journey! Honestly, it is no big deal at all, even through it carries 173 hp. It could still carry a full 7 passengers and be just fine. It only has 40500+ miles though.

It seems to me like the V6 was dropped for this model year so Dodge could get rid of their spare parts by building these cars in the cheapest configuration and selling to fleets. Production ceased all together in 2020.
I think Dodge MAJORLY dropped the ball on the Journey. It should have FAR FAR more luxury options on the higher trim levels. More interior colors to choose from only black leather as an option isn't cutting it. More cargo room as well. And why in GODS NAME did you drop the V6 in the 2020 and up models. BAD BAD move Dodge this could have been quite the contender especially since it has AWD. You don't even offer a power liftgate on the highest trim level...C'MON...!!!

A yo let me teach you something for saudi drift you are good but get you a fwd handbrake car like Chevy Cruz or Camry and when you slide the car don’t let off the Gas and balance with the handbrake cause your in control of the car and when you want to do the 360 turn the wheel and pull the handbrake and let off and keep on doing it
I love this car to death because we own one and it's been significantly reliable believe it or not, but it is unnecessarily slow and seems to recognize us pressing the gas pedal when it feels like it when the air is on... and for $23,000, Idk what it would take for me to get this instead of one of those new rav4's, even if it is smaller, however, the space in this car and ride quality is great and the seats are quite comfy.
