What an excellent workshop, and what a good teacher Rudolf Lutz is. This cantata has no parallel with any of the others, and the wonderful first movement is so delightful that you want it to be MUCH longer. Thanks to all.

I am no music scholar, but I am surprised that the similarity of the rythm in the opening symphony of BWV 18 with some form of primitive waltz is not noted. Am I mistaken?
Faust indeed... this concept of the devil is indeed the same we see in Goethe's Faust!
