Piter Wrobel Thanks for the comment, the owner of the car I know says it’s affordable with couple hundred UK pounds a year, for general services that pop up on the computer, MOT. Insurance is hard to know, as depends on age, area you live, how old the car is, how long you’ve been driving etc.. there is many more things that can change the price of insurance including the company you go with. I hope this helps
The dashboard makes a ‘ping’ noise, warning you there is a fault, and the boot doesn’t operate. That is with the model that has a automatic boot closing button.
@@CarTorques I thought this also, but alas, its not true. The 2010 X5 40D boot opens AND closes with the button on remote! You have to keep holding the remote button down for it to drop. It will stop dropping as soon as you let go of button. Pressing again will continue its downward.
Hey my dad did buy 2 days age for £4700 x5 40d 2011 but engine gone and he will need to buy new one that do you think did he buy cheap?? I think the car will cost him around £9000
Yes that is a really cheap for the year, plus the car is usually longer lasting. I haven't seen 2011 x5 40d close to that, so there must have been something wrong. I would say if he was to buy another car, cheaper than £9000, it would be VWs Touareg or Tiguan are good runners, lower mileage for that price bracket. Like the Audi Q5 which is another option, they are German built, they should be long lasting. Hope this helps.
It's difficult to think of good business if you buy a $100k car for 4700. it means there's something wrong. Fixing it for 9000 is a fair price and thats just the beginning.
Hey guys car is done 1 weeks ago and to be honest I don't expect this but total price is £7350 the car works and drives really smooth absolutely amazing
No offence but that layout is the same as every car no difference. So not sure why your pointing everything out like that had to stop the video 1/4 way through couldnt watch no more
Jim Morrell cleaning his teeth in the beginning with his tongue as if he had just eaten cornflakes, then dragging his words out to make a longer video. I lost the will to live, no more!
I’ve got a 2009 3.0 diesel it’s great , thanks
Dude that looks like a MASSIVE crib lol was more impressed with the house than the car lol if it’s yours (well done for the hard work)
My e91 325d has the start stop, to the left as well
This is like Tim Nice But Dim does top gear
Thank you for the video!
Thank you for watching, glad you enjoyed it! 👍🏼
I love mine
I love the e70 lci in 40d, looking for a clean low mile M-Sport in South Africa
Holyy that crib is more fire than the car

Pretty sure 40d is triple turbo no?
Nah that’s the 50d
What happens if you try to close the upper tailgate with the lower one still down?

@@CarTorques can you close the powered tailgate from the remote or only open?
@@djfld2394 only open it from the remote and close with the button on the boot itself, not from the remote.
