I can see Randy coming back and getting an initial face pop because he's been gone for a year and half. But then immediately turn on Cody or Seth and have them got at up until the February PPV.
Randy vs Cena to break the title record, would bring one of the biggest audiences to the screen in wrestling history. The face of wrestling for a majority of the 2000s, one last hurrah. It would be ultimate
With Cena saying he plans to retire within the next 3-4 years I definitely see the 17 record being on the line as a Wrestlemania main event for Cena’s last match.
if he is actually returning then he shouldn't risk using the RKO . He could use the punt kick to the skull again its just as deadly and its at no risk to Randy's back
The RKO is a basic back bump. If he can't do that he can't be in the ring.

@@God-0208well then he should probably not wrestle at all… because literally most wrestling moves have the impact happening to either your back or your shoulders. Both of these Randy has severely damaged over the years (he has a long history of shoulder injuries). If he does come back it’s great but I really hope he doesn’t risk himself too much because if he can’t take any back bump anymore then he should please just retire and take care of himself! His life is more precious than our entertainment!
Evolution is really something special , I still don't get it why they didn't introduced them into the Hof yet .

I’d love Randy to comeback, but to be fair I think he should retire while nothing serious happened to his health. His back is in a bad shape.

I loved wrestling when I was a kid and stopped watching around 2002. I started to watch about a decade later. During one of the first Raws I watched upon my return a baby face Randy Orton ran in from the audience to hit an RKO out of nowhere and struck his signature pose once he returned to the crowd to a huge pop. That showoff pose he had been hitting finally made sense to me, I learned of his back story as the cocky legend killer and I became hooked to the squared circle once again.
Flair was right here about the mental part of overcoming such a bad injury like Orton had. It puts doubt and fear into your mind. Randy has been back for 3 months and is still trying to find his footing/confidence. It’ll take time for sure
Listen Shawn Michaels came back so why can't Randy?! Shawn still gave us what? 7 more years? Randy's got this, he's a beast.
