They worked so hard to build what they had to have it all crumble to the ground. We will never know how he felt or if he was sorry for hurting her, but I have the feeling he probably was eventually. Selfishness is a human weakness and I believe forgiveness is the most beautiful gift that can be given from one person to another. I also think some situations can be too overwhelming, even in spite of willingness to forgive. However, if both people want to heal a marriage and still want to be together, they can have victory and come out the other side, and restart over, with willingness to do the work.
