Fun facts about Amsterdam! 1. The city stands on 11 million poles 3. Heineken now churns out almost 200 million hectolitres (5.2 billion gallons) of its famous brew every year. 5. Its canals are full of bicycles 9. The city features the most museums per capita in the world More in the article below. www.getyourguide.com/magazine/2020/03/amsterdam-fun-facts/
J Utah whenever you come to India do at least 40 or 50 different cities drive because here each city is so different from each other even language isn't same
@Manish yeah he does a city on one side of the world and then the next day he driving in another side of the world like does he fly on a plane every day or does he get people from different places around the world to send videos bc if he actually goes to these places then he should be knighted, he or she idk
And where the proper infrastructure is built to accommodate cyclists and pedestrians unlike these garbage American stroads that are horrible for ALL modes of transportation!
its amazing how smart the traffic lights in amsterdam are. Notice how the arrows will only open for the turn that has cars waiting! You don't see green waves but you see very short wait times and various lights just turning green as you aproach. The most bike/pedestrian friendly in the world also cares for drivers confort... this city is truly something else.
Amsterdam is the Netherlands’ capital, known for its artistic heritage, elaborate canal system and narrow houses with gabled facades, legacies of the city’s 17th-century Golden Age. Its Museum District houses the Van Gogh Museum, works by Rembrandt and Vermeer at the Rijksmuseum, and modern art at the Stedelijk. Cycling is key to the city’s character, and there are numerous bike paths.
It is the capital and the principal commercial and financial centre of the Netherlands. To the scores of tourists who visit each year, Amsterdam is known for its historical attractions, for its collections of great art, and for the distinctive colour and flavour of its old sections, which have been so well preserved.
From the start, I fell in love with those buildings. what architecture! My brother-in-law was in Amsterdam, but didn't say much about it, now I'm going to ask him, "What's wrong with you?"
Im from Amsterdam. Let me tell u one thing, its not a city that is supposed to be explored by car! Instead you should explore it by bicycle or by walk, or by boat :)
Gran video!... Excelente calidad de imagen. Hermosa ciudad!... Me llama la atención que hay luz natural pero los vehículos tienen luces encendidas, ¿es obligación circular con luces encendidas?... Saludos
Very Nice you did Amsterdam, to be honest the inner city core is not carfriendly and I do think that's good, we use bicycles and the public transportation within the Amsterdam roundway , (the A10 motorway) is very good organized. Again nice you did Amsterdam !!!!!!!!!!
you mean you're sexually frustrated that need to travel to Amsterdam for having sex in change of money? don't they have hookers where you are? I am sure they have, and definetley will be cheaper than here.
Obrigada.
Not at all, it’s fine! I must admit that I was born and raised here, so I do know the streets quite well and am familiar where the most dangerous crosses etc. are. But once you get to know the roads, you’ll be fine.
Ik hou van de plaats! Lange mensen, fietsers zwerven door de stad, dat is het kenmerk van de stad Amsterdam. Ik hou van Nederland. Als Indonesiërs zal onze koloniale staat altijd naar Indonesië kijken. 🇳🇱❤🇮🇩
This must be one of your lesser ride videos. I am from Netherlands but avoiding Amsterdam is always a priority. Visited it many time in the past but still can't get over the things I do not like. Everything! But I can tell you other cities aren't much better here in Netherlands.
Most people outside of Amsterdam are pretty jealous, unfortunately Amsterdam is the most expensive place in the country, they usually simply can't afford it to live there. It is of course by far the best city in the country. Its the city where the wealth and succes of the entire country is based on, it always was the economic and cultural powerhouse of the entire nation. It has the best schools and universities, the best musea, best architecture and is of course the most international and cosmopolitan city in the nation. Its a bit like when Americans say they don't like New York. They don't really understand it and are perhaps a little afraid they don't measure up to the high standards of pretty much everything there.

Great great great content ☺️
True, we visited a lot of great museums! Our favorite was the Van Gogh.
No fun facts about the cheese, or tulips? :-))

I'll always love a city where pedestrians and cycles have the right of way and its actually respected.
And where the proper infrastructure is built to accommodate cyclists and pedestrians unlike these garbage American stroads that are horrible for ALL modes of transportation!

London just installed smart lights. The traffic is much smoother than last time I visited.
They also have some really nice roads. Hardly any potholes from what I can see. I live near Boston and their roads suck.
Its not the most bike/pedestrian friendly city in the world. A lot of cities in the Netherlands are more bike friendly
@@MaartenvanderVeeke Most cities in the Netherlands rank highly in those categories. If Amsterdam isn't number 1 It's certainly near the top.
Yeah, it’s really well planned and designed with well functioning infrastructure
Amsterdam es una ciudad hermosa, digno ejemplo de urbanismo, conjugando lo antiguo y lo moderno. Saludos desde Loja-Ecuador-Sudamérica.

A city designed for people, with beautiful architectural elements. Even the sights are visually pleasing, I hope I get to visit one day :)
Thank you for this, J! The Netherlands is an amazing country. I lived outside Venlo for a couple years in my 20’s. I miss it dearly.
Sunset colors makes everything better!😍
There is something really appealing about the streets close to the canals.

So beautiful and clean city, I'll put Amsterdam to my bucket-list. Love from Vietnam🇻🇳❤🇳🇱
A perfect and great driving, considering the "special" idiosyncrasy, way of life and characteristics of that city. Plus, so many bikes everywhere ...
From the start, I fell in love with those buildings. what architecture! My brother-in-law was in Amsterdam, but didn't say much about it, now I'm going to ask him, "What's wrong with you?"
I guess thinking back to his time here, he's probably going to shed a tear, therefore his silence.
Thank you for this experience ❤

Very nice video 👍🏻, for me it's not that busy at all. It can be much more busy there, on which day was it captured?
The bike lanes are almost as wide as the car lanes...
most cases even wider..
Well Cars in Europe are smaller and less wider than US and Canada

UK😍♥️👋🏼
In Amsterdam, I would expect a video of J Utah riding his bike and enjoying a city made for people, not cars.
That would be so cool, camera attached to a bike, some of the most beautiful parts of the city are not accessible to cars
Nice video as always.

totally agree with you
@@TheTroyc1982 it is not what most people think it is
@@TheTroyc1982 nothings wrong with it. Awesome city to live in. Only downside is drug tourism imo.

Strangely enough, Amsterdam seems to be much more crowded than Brussels.
