I really am digging this series. I know its based on a Japanese one but it's also giving off some Northern Exposure vibes as well. And what can you say about Shin Min-a but that she's straight up gorgeous.
Not Japanese at all. When they announced this drama they said it would be a remake / be based on the 2004 Korean movie "Mr. Hong" starring the late Kim Ju-Hyeok, who coincidentally also appeared in 2D1N like Kim Seonho. Kim Seonho plays that same movie character, Hong Doo-Shik, here. But as that was a movie & this is a 16 ep. drama series, the story will of course be developed further with lots of new creative story lines & characters added to make this series stand on its own.
I watched hometown cha cha cha because of Kim Seonho and I gotta tell you this man never disappoints ! He's so good and charismatic ! I love being his fan ! Kim Seonho keep up the good work ! Fighting ! Love from India !

I think for the first time I have seen a lady in dramas who is so humble while talking and seems realistic too.
