He seeks happiness and wants to hold it now that it is here. I love that this show gave this a different twist. You maybe broken but you can heal while having people around you. Hyejin really set the standards high for female leads. How often do we see female characters who knows what they want and actually do something about it? I often drop a drama because of the awful characterization of FL but Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha is absolutely delightful. The writing is honestly top-tier in how they handle their characters’ personality and development. I know for sure that Hyejin will be celebrated as one of the best FLs in kdrama even after several years.

it was my first time crying over a confession and kiss, i usually just get giddy or butterflies but with this one, it's different. The emotional build up is just wonderful.
This confession hits different after watching all the episodes leading up to this. Like we could totally see them slowly falling for each other but words never came out, only actions. Now that hyejin finally made peace with the fact that she indeed likes him, I love how she didn't waste time and just shared how she felt. And the best part is that even though chief Hong obviously had a traumatic past, instead of the usual pushing her away, he confessed too. GOSH!!!

She doesn’t behave like a goddess. She is ever so humble and genuine. He too amazes me with his honesty and humility. There are several Korean actresses who carry on like God’s gift to the acting world. They behave like untouchables. Not Shin Min Ah! She confidently kisses Kim Seon Ho which gives their love and the drama, credibility. What you see is what you get with both of them. I believe that they are simply truthful, humble and honest both in this scene/drama and in their own lives. The love between them is genuine and riveting! This confession hits different after watching all the episodes leading up to this. Like we could totally see them slowly falling for each other but words never came out, only actions. Now that hyejin finally made peace with the fact that she indeed likes him, I love how she didn't waste time and just shared how she felt. And the best part is that even though chief Hong obviously had a traumatic past, instead of the usual pushing her away, he confessed too. GOSH!!!
im totally in love with this scene. the dialogue and their gestures are everything, its delivered perfectly by both shin minah and kim seonho. i honestly had lowered my expectation and just thought dushik will reject her but the moment she put her hands on his lips i know he had no option but to stop being denial. one of the best confession scene that i’ve ever seen. hands down.

Secondly, Kim Seon Ho and Shin Min Ah are fortunate to be leads in this drama together because they suit each other to perfection! Both have endured suffering, consequently they have been able to bring this into the acting out of this scene. I sense a respect and understanding they have of each other because of their experiences - the joys, sufferings, trials and tribulations they have endured. This scene is realistic without being over the top. It is in fact, beautiful in its simplicity and honesty. They each have a heart of gold which meld so beautifully together. This wonderful thread runs through them both. It’s a rare occurrence to see this perfect kind of chemistry in its most honest, sincere and genuine form. They are there for each other, no matter who or what is around them. It’s as if they are the only two people on earth. Shin Min Ah is a seasoned actress. Kim Seon Ho is fast becoming one. She doesn’t behave like a goddess. She is ever so humble and genuine. He too amazes me with his honesty and humility. There are several Korean actresses who carry on like God’s gift to the acting world. They behave like untouchables. Not Shin Min Ah! She confidently kisses Kim Seon Ho which gives their love and the drama, credibility. What you see is what you get with both of them. I believe that they are simply truthful, humble and honest both in this scene/drama and in their own lives. The love between them is genuine and riveting!
