What impresses me most about Grant Hill is the fact that not only was he a great athlete, but that came from money and wasn’t, spoiled, cocky, or egotistical. Probably the most humble NBA star ever. Shows you how important good parenting is.

Don't forget when Grant Hill was a senior at Duke he carried a weak team all the way to the championship against Arkansas. Coach K had him playing point forward which is rare in college because no more Bobby Hurley, plus Chris Collins and Jeff Capel weren't really effective at point. A lot of people overlook that part of his college resume. Mark Price was definitely legit. Steph was compared to Nash at least coming out of college because they were both very crafty with their handle and elite shooters while lacking elite athleticism, but yeah big difference passing wise. Paul's body language say he's definitely not over the Ray Allen thing.

She wasn't a sports fan so she didn't know who he was. Also, he didn't act "high and mighty" when he gave her his name for the reservation, he acted like any other customer. Please don’t forget that Steve Nash played in a similar system with Don Nelson & the Dallas Mavericks. Don Nelson centered that Mavericks team around the likes of, Michael Finley, Dirk Nowitzki, with Steve Nash at the helm. Steve Nash became a free agent, & Mark Cuban didn’t resign Nash, which severed the relationship between Cuban & Nelson. This resulted in Nelson moving on to Golden State. Like D’Antoni, Nelson’s team’s were associated with an uptempo style of play, with a lack of defense.

Grant Hill: I wish he never got hurt and once he got hurt didn't try and play in that Miami playoff series. I'm glad he wound up doing well for his career because he was held back and was really a passive leader because he wanted to make everybody happy in his early years in Detroit. Remember, he was a free agent the season he got hurt which enabled the Pistons to pick up Ben Wallace who played for Orlando at the time. I was never a Grant Hill fan but I never thought he was "great" just a good player who would never push that button. I wanted him to do great things on the court and force his team to win but he was too passive when it came to winning at the pro level.

Not the kind that sat there dancing around for 10-12secs with the ball, but he knew what he wanted to do and where he wanted to go and did it effortlessly. Was in the 50-40-90 club. He was most def ahead of his time when you sit back and think of his career. Guess cause i live here in cleveland i dunno, but he's still my fav player

Thats the problem with alot of people, they always looking at stats alone or chips, there are so many factors that go into winning the ball game like people say why couldnt T-Mac close out up 3-1 etc series as such but fail to appreciate how they could even be in that position in the first place I mean seriously, is it really fair? Rip Hamilton, Chauncey Billups and Big Ben Wallace vs T-Mac and some rookies, it crazy he went up 3-1 in the first place. 2001 He went up against Glen Robinson, Sam Cassell and Ray Allen. If I remember correctly, he scored like 21 straight points one game that series. He was always going against a stacked team but he always played better in the playoffs too, In my opinion, he shouldnt of had to carry that hard and still lose. His 02-03 season has never been replicated since and in the history of the game, MJ is the only person that has put up a statline better for a wing player. 32.1/6.5/5.5 on 30 PER in arguably one of the toughest defensive eras. (Hand check and Zone were legal).

Both wonderful players tho. Grant was one of the first versitille small forwards that could rebound, pass, score, cross u up, post you, had a fad a way, could carry a team when needed and will dunk you.
