It likely wouldn't have been too long until at the very least the majority of the dinosaurs went extinct anyway. As we know now, while the asteroid impact had a large influence on catalysing the climate change that ultimately killed the dinosaurs, there was still a vast amount of changes occurring on earth already due to volcanic activity and other natural phenomena. It would still likely be quite a different earth today but one way or another the era of the dinosaurs was coming to an end around that time.

I have an amazing idea for a book. It focuses on each of the mass extinction events as experienced by the animal that would eventually evolve to give rise to Homo sapiens, whatever we were at the time of each event, from the Ordovician to the end Cretaceous. We see how this creature slips through each mass extinction event and continues to evolve and repeat the process until we arrive at today, and ask, Are we going to make it through again? Thanks for taking the time to make more videos for people to enjoy. Truthfully though I didn't like this one. There are some mentions of historical discoveries but too much storytelling about the life of certain creatures. I'd rather just see a timeline of what happened when and what evidence we've discovered to suggest it.
For me this formula is already perfect as-is as I always play these videos when going to sleep because the narration is easy to listen to without having to strongly focus. There's plenty of dry scientific sources available already, there's also services like Curiosity Stream and Magellan where you can very likely find the type of content you described and here on RUclips too, if you just look for it. At least I'm fairly sure I've seen these kind of videos focused on evidence and timeline of events before. I hope I didn't come across as denying the validity of your opinion, it just felt appropriate to share mine as an answer to yours more than as a separate comment.

That wasn't me
Sounds sus
I was excited seeing this video pop up in my feed. I was ecstatic when started it and heard the "History of" and "Voices of the Past" narrator, since those are my favorite youtube channels
Thanks for taking the time to make more videos for people to enjoy. Truthfully though I didn't like this one. There are some mentions of historical discoveries but too much storytelling about the life of certain creatures. I'd rather just see a timeline of what happened when and what evidence we've discovered to suggest it.
story telling is the whole point of the channel
@@caiodavi9829who are you to say what the point of the channel is?
Make your own channell
@@drGiggwhy are you so mad? lol. im just saying this based on their other channels
I'm hyped for the new channel. I just finished watching your entire catalog last week and then this popped up!
I twisted my ankle running to hit that subscribe button. I have never been more excited to subscribe to a RUclips channel. After this series, I would love to hear your take on world War 1 and 2. The storytelling is so incredibly compelling that I think they would make for some epic videos.
Thank you for the film! Good work guys! Keep it up!
Great first video. I'm SO excited about this channel!!!!!!!!
From the history of the universe, to the history of the earth and now the history of mankind i love all your videos and truly appreciate all the work you put in. Its amazing all this is free
stoked for the new series!
Thank you for yet another masterpiece. I look forward to many more to come, along with the great success of this channel.
Great video as always with your various channels. Your story telling and cadence of narration is ALWAYS a treat!! Thanks again for all you do!!
