Yeah , telling stories and educating aren't mutually exclusive . But , I know where you're coming from , and agree . This format , as fascinating story with exquisite visual aides , make for a much more interesting, and therefore retainable , method of learning than would be reading off the printed page of a non-illustrated book ( which are great if that's what you have to work with , but not THIS great !) .

8:35 Diplodocus had been extinct for nearly 100 million years before Tyrannosaurus or Purgatorius evolved.
10:11 Camarasaurus lived at the same time as Diplodocus, so see previous answer.
10:53 Whilst Dromaeosaurs did have the raised killing second claw we all remember from Jurassic Park, they weren’t retractable like a modern cats’.

It likely wouldn't have been too long until at the very least the majority of the dinosaurs went extinct anyway. As we know now, while the asteroid impact had a large influence on catalysing the climate change that ultimately killed the dinosaurs, there was still a vast amount of changes occurring on earth already due to volcanic activity and other natural phenomena. It would still likely be quite a different earth today but one way or another the era of the dinosaurs was coming to an end around that time.

Watched a 47 minute RUclips video like it was a music video by a favourite band. It was finished in an instant. Not a second of fluff. Well done! If I may come with one suggestion, it would be to either use the metric system or display metrics on the screen when saying how many feet or pounds an animal is. Saying that the asteroid was 10 km in diameter and the animal was eight feet is weird and inconsistent.

It's kind of crazy to think life could have just been ended on earth possibly forever. We still don't actually know how life started, it could be one weird cosmic fluke, the odds of the right conditions might be astronomical. So that could have been it for life on earth forever gone, extinguished.

Would be great if you could add a little info on screen for the visuals: what the various maps actually show (what do the colors at 22:09 mean? What are the white dots at 22:25, for example?), the scale and relative locations of nearby cities, that sorta thing. But regardless, thank you for another banger of a video and channel!

Meek maybe. But also highly adaptable and resilient. Not to mention intelligent and inventive.
Intelligence might be a bad trait to have in the short term, but if you survive for a while it's a trait that can outclass any other. As evidenced by humans.

Thanks for taking the time to make more videos for people to enjoy. Truthfully though I didn't like this one. There are some mentions of historical discoveries but too much storytelling about the life of certain creatures. I'd rather just see a timeline of what happened when and what evidence we've discovered to suggest it.

For me this formula is already perfect as-is as I always play these videos when going to sleep because the narration is easy to listen to without having to strongly focus.
There's plenty of dry scientific sources available already, there's also services like Curiosity Stream and Magellan where you can very likely find the type of content you described and here on RUclips too, if you just look for it. At least I'm fairly sure I've seen these kind of videos focused on evidence and timeline of events before.
I hope I didn't come across as denying the validity of your opinion, it just felt appropriate to share mine as an answer to yours more than as a separate comment.
