A good "chill with me" video. Sleeping puppy, hot mug of coffee, scented candle, and a super plush comfy sweater. I love having these kind of videos on my second monitor while I'm working on a project or studying. Definity making a playlist of my favorite study with me videos and adding this one to it.

Fun. Working from home as this is on. Nice to have you and your child in the background. If it were a video of me writing, there would be a lot more pacing, grumbling, and snickering (I find myself oh, so amusing at times). I probably only spend about 20% of the time typing. Glad you’re starting to explore the craft of writing in such detail.

As someone who is an aspiring writer my self, I find it really fun to stop writing for a few months and then come back to my work, because I get the same feeling you do. Like it is someone else’s story. Rereading my work I get little moments of “oh yeah, I remember now” and it’s quite enjoyable.
In regards to Worldbuilding, I’m the kind of dummy, who likes Tolkiens “The Silmarillion”, better than the rest of his books. I could honestly watch an hour long video on just the architecture of Bilbo Bogan’s home alone,if that is any indication of how much the world matters when I read fantasy.
I just ordered The Silmarillion!! Cant wait to read it
@@asmrglow “The Silmarillion” is kinda dry in terms of storytelling overall, but the world of Tolkien is so unique and well thought out, that every page has something to marvel at. A god, a creature or one of Middle Earth’s many magical trees. I hope you enjoy it.

I felt the “did I write this?” in my veins. I’ve started writing fanfiction almost 3 years ago, and I sometimes go back to old writing, only for me to not even recognize my own stuff😂
Now I'm not a writer, but I am a dnd Dungeon Master, and I build my own homebrew settings.
My favorite part about it is no doubt the world building. I love making up the places, the people, the lore all of that stuff.
As someone who also does a lot of graphics work I especially find great joy in making the maps for my worlds.
And with Ai Art these days, me and my friends can easily make cool looking character portraits and tokens for our games.

World building, I think, is important, but not the most important thing. Depending on your focus, I think character development or the plot is more important.

I think it's nice to have some!! It's motivating! For mine, I'd definitely add 'publish my books' haha! and then... not sure about what else! Just live a good and happy life! What about you and everyone else?
I would probably buy and live off the land, learn a trade, a musical instrument + some means of self-defense, become self-sufficient, be my own boss, and perhaps a few of the things shown in The Bucket List (2007) movie.
