The Statue is absolutely beautiful. Captured her perfectly. It speaks volumes about to what she could've been thinking. I love that she's looking at the Gulf. When I see pictures of little girls right in front looking up at her, I lose it. Children playing in the park. Moms saying, "Stay close. Don't go too far away. Stay close to Selena(or maybe Auntie Selena).
Right. Selena loved Chris deeply, and was proud to take his name. The legal issues between him and her father have supposedly been resolved, which makes me happy, because she obviously loved her father, as well. It's unbelievable to me how many people there are who think that her father was or is some kind of a monster. I've met the man, and believe me, he loved Selena more than life itself. Yes, he might have been a little "unsure" about Chris at first, but a lot of people mistake his wanting to protect and want the best for Selena for being "mean", and he's definately not. I'm betting that most of the people who think he is have never met him. They're just repeating what others who think they "know" him have said.
I took a trip to Corpus Christi one summer while visiting family and visited Selena’s statue. She was beautiful. ❤
Algún día conocere ese lugar!!

Did y’all remember in the movie when Selena and Chris were there
If selina was alive she would of be 40
Try 50
They should remove the perez and fix the date of birth
Fix the date, yes but not the Perez, that was her name. They were happily married when she died,
