@@FlyylF1234 Marc will make significant progress, he won’t get fat and out of shape. This is where perception of what significant offseason actually is varies from what we do vs what’s generally understood by it.
I would love to compete in America next year. I am speaking with my coach getting a timeline mapped out for shows but also waiting for more show dates to come out
I’ve just sat and watched this entire podcast from start to finish. It was a very insightful watch and it’s nice to hear this revived level of positivity after going through those adversities. 2025 will certainly be an incredible year! Wishing you all the best! 🙏🏾
Glad you guys are still going hard with the podcasts while Bro Chat is MIA! This was awesome to have this guy on! I have huge shoulder issues I can relate to what he’s saying so much
Thank you so much. I believe it has a lot to do with my upbringing in a Christian home, it’s the only way I know to be calm to be honest. It would be an honour to be on here more
Mark with a real 10 to 12 weeks able to train is as hood as The top 6 guys! He look proportion & he stood with a Akim who can stand next to Andrew & Samson! Great Job 4th you are a winner for sure to a first place
Marc seems like a humble likable guy. Hope he can continue on his journey. You got to get Ernie Taylor on the show. I remember when he competed at the San Francisco Pro Show and Kerry Kays was there next to me and I said what in the hell is he putting in his medialis muscle that looks ridiculous😅!
Hi Dennis, a while back you had Paul Dillett on the show and he was talking about an old skool uk bodybuilder called Selwyn Cottrell who is a good friend of mine and does not get the recognition for how good he was and how ahead of his time he was in the UK especially ! I could hook you up with him if you would be interested in having him on ?, He is a great guy that has plenty of stories to tell ! So if your interested reach out to me, and we all love your show over hear in the UK .
Why don’t they change the rules where you have to do certain amount of shows a year don’t mean many but enough for the shows that are on will have sufficient amount of competitors in ?
In all honesty, I don't see longevity in Marc's career. Just too many injuries and mobility issues. The constant pounding of weights on muscles and joints will wear him down at a faster rate than his peers.
That’s fair if that’s your opinion . But if you watch my training methods and how it’s changed in the last two years with my coach alongside working with my physio I train a lot smarter. Nevertheless everyone is entitled to an opinion, but I will continue as best as I can in the safest way to continue my goals within bodybuilding
57:33 what about charging a cut from the athlete' next show's prize money (whichever next showing he wins some cash) if the athlete doesnt win any money, he wasnt that big of a draw anyways
Milos tells Marc that at age 37, he doesn't have to have important offseasons. Samson Dauda who is a year older on the other hand in the offseason brought him up to 330 pounds. Where is the logic here? Sure if the goal is to win a race and qualify to be one of many ...257 lbs. is fine ... otherwise gaining mass is important. As all athletes with X frame type Marc are trying to do (from Regan Grimes to Rafael Brandao).
I think Milo’s was also coming from the standpoint of too much mass on my shoulder could restrict my shoulder mobility which I now have back after a few years. So pushing the weight limit will restrict my range of movement so there’s a fine line of how much I can push bodyweight to still be able to compete.
@@marchector-ifbbpro Well but I think BEFORE you face another offseason you will fix the shoulder problem. Right? An osteophyte of almost 4 cm, as you say in the video, is no joke I guess. Thinking about training and then competing just trying to “manage” the shoulder problem and not fix it I don't think is going to get you to your full potential. It would also possibly make the problem itself worse.
YES, I tell Marc, that came out of serious injuries that prevented him from even hitting the poses right, at the age of 37 - that he really doesn't need to take some time out of the competition to pack some serious mass...going into major off-seson. We all know what that means. Training much heavier - being prone to more injuries that can pretty much risk his career. Instead, keeping it fairly lean and slowly adding some tissue at the areas he needs it... He is a "finished product" in a sense - exceptional physique...that needs only little refinement, few extra pounds and superb presentation...and he will be legitimate contender to win Mr Olympia qualification.
@@MilosSarcevOfficialRUclipsPage “A legitimate contender for Mr. Olympia qualification.” I had understood correctly. What if he was aiming for something more important? Would making high-level placings at Mr. Olympia give him the same recommendation?
Not being disrespectful. Been watching the podcast since the 1st - episode. After the Olympia menace podcast start to feel like the same thing! Nothing really exciting. Not excited or thrilled listening to this anymore. Maybe need to change the content and start adding new elements! For a die hard fan like me. I start to feel bored. All the conversations start to feel like the same - repeating again and again.
They need to brush the dust off their private archives and show us more of these oldschool fotos and videos. Milos and Chris mentioned having thousands of them..
Nobody’s ever heard of you, and never will. If you paid attention you’d know Marc has unreal potential. Hope he can get healthy again with nothing to hold him back
Dude should retire, bodybuilding isn’t worth your expediting your already deteriorating health; and at 37 years old, even moreso, can see he’s desperate for the glory but it will not come without a huge cost, if at all
Marc Hector is inspirational, he showed resilience

Marc should do Detroit, Pittsburgh, and NYPRO. If he doesn’t win one, then he can do a rebound and hit shows in Europe at the end of the year.
