Question I just purchased this cooler and have the infinity fans how did you install them to work without plugging in a pwm cable to the cpu fan header? Trying to figure out how to make it all work since they only have one cable for the fans now.
I run them through the SL Infinity controller. Also the controller can be used to control speed but it also has PWM passthrough cable if you want to control it via the BIOS
I just got the Lt720 and connected my SL120 fans but for some reason I’m getting cpu fan error on the bios… I set it to ignore the monitor and everything’s connected properly but I’m still reaching temps at idle towards 50-60 on a 7900x. I was wondering if I installed or incorrectly? I’ve installed many aios in the past but this is the first I’ve had this issue. AIO pump connected, agrb connected, it’s tightened well… connected my sl120 pin to the cpu fan connector and still had temp issues. 🥲 also changed thermal paste and etc.
Connect the PUMP 3pin connector to the CPU fan header, set it to DC mode, adjust curve to be 60% all the time, like constant flat line, after that set SL fans as you wish from the L Connect, should be fine. Also bear in mind that 7900X will flat at 95 degrees and nothing you ca do about it, it works like that, idling in mid 40s, gaming in 70s, literally NORMAL for that CPU
This AIO looks awesome, great review! I just built a new Windows 11 machine with all Lian Li SL120 V2 fans and I'm having issues with L-Connect... I can't change the RGB or adjust fan speed, it's so infuriating! I've tried both versions of L-Connect (2 and 3), reinstalled multiple times, I've updated my bios, I've tried updating the firmware on the controller through L-Connect but it does nothing. I've tried the manual firmware update tool, but when I select the file in the folder for my fans it says it's the wrong firmware? I tried the files in the other folders to just in case and same thing. I deleted the driver for the controller in Device Manager also, same issue. My motherboard is the X570s Aorus Master. I've updated the chipset and everything else through their App Center program. Do you have any advise? I'm at my wits end with these things and I'm tempted to return them while I still can. Any help at all would be appreciated, thank you! I really would prefer to keep them lol.
Connect only USB 2.0 cable and nothing else to the motherboard. Then you should be able to control lights without issues. Download latest L-Connect and you should be fine
I would, here are the top choices so far: DeepCool LT720, Lian Li Galahad II 360 and even better the upcoming Galahad II LCD 360 since it has slightly thicker radiator (review coming in a few days), Artcic Liquid Freezer II 360 or even 420, thick rad at 38mm, beast of an AIO but looks is not something that it prides with 😁 There is one more contender also, Enermax LiqmaxFlo 360, also thick rad, review also coming soon All in all, for 13th and 14th gen Intel and AMD 79xx models I would always go with thicker rad models, it's just that much that they need to keep the beasts in check 👍

Make sure you are making corrections to the correct fan header. Sometimes people mistake headers and just adjust CPU one, but have it connected to CPU OPT or System1 or something like that...
the pump is designed to run at 100% on default settings so nothing is broken. i use the open source fancontrol progam to change the pump speed and it worked for me
Depends if you want LCD or not, if yes then Kraken, if not then DeepCool. I just want to state that Kraken has many pump failures so far, just something to worry about 😠
noob question. if i switch mine to the some lian li fans, do you still control the fans from L-connect or do you have to control them through the motherboard?
Yup, and also the same controller can be connected to the motherboard, you have the option in L-Connect to switch to the Mobo control. Additionally there is another cable in the box for direct motherboard connection to avoid the controller and the L-Connect all together
Well i figured it out i have downloaded fan controll app and ive managed to know whats going on its the fans when going 70% + it goes so damn fast just like the vid says so ive put it on 50%
First set pump fan header in BIOS to DC mode this will quiet the pump immediately, then set it to like 50-60% all the time... After that set other fans on a curve with 1-4 seconds respond time, you will have a quiet system that doesn't ramp up immediately

The DF800 case comes with all the additional case fans I need out of the box with the perfect top side space for the 360 AIO

If I heard it correctly, did you do testing using the Lian Li SL120 INF Fans as the radiator fans? I'm looking on changing my AIO to this and I'm wondering what would be the difference of temp using the fan that comes with this AIO. Lian Li's CFM is at 63.1 whilst Deepcool CFM is at 85.85.
There is a noise with DeepCool fans that I tried to avoid, temp difference maybe up to 3 degrees worse with LianLi fans... Try using SL v2 fans they have great airflow 🙌

@@LevelUPGamingTech thank you so much I’ll try that. I really appreciate it!! You’re the best

Would you recommend it to cool a i9 from the 13th gen?
I would, here are the top choices so far:
DeepCool LT720, Lian Li Galahad II 360 and even better the upcoming Galahad II LCD 360 since it has slightly thicker radiator (review coming in a few days), Artcic Liquid Freezer II 360 or even 420, thick rad at 38mm, beast of an AIO but looks is not something that it prides with 😁
There is one more contender also, Enermax LiqmaxFlo 360, also thick rad, review also coming soon
All in all, for 13th and 14th gen Intel and AMD 79xx models I would always go with thicker rad models, it's just that much that they need to keep the beasts in check 👍

First set pump fan header in BIOS to DC mode this will quiet the pump immediately, then set it to like 50-60% all the time...
After that set other fans on a curve with 1-4 seconds respond time, you will have a quiet system that doesn't ramp up immediately
