That Doc Block x Besseae is going to be amazing 🙌🏽 I just got into anthurium hybrids and I’m lining how easy they’ve been compared to regular anthuriums lol
I got a splendid for Christmas, it has already put out two new leaves! I did put it on a moss pole about two days ago and I’m ready for it to take off! ❄️💚🙃 My splendid is a very juvenile plant and I’m amazed how fast it’s grown.❄️💚🙃
RUclips needed this video as the quality of all the plants you highlighted definitely fit the bill as top plants on any collectors wish list! Great insight and tips, thank you! And the Scalprum absolutely sits super pretty w/ its eye catching features!! 🙌💦🌱💫
You got it bro!! Please let us know when the Splendids are up, last birthday I treated myself w a Pink Princess, this year, a Splendid! Have a safe and great day!!
These are fantastic recommendations! Not that I necessarily need anymore but you already know it's about that time of year to start expanding the collection 💸🌱😌
Great recommendations 👏👏Everything just looks perfect, so I'm going to need you to get your a$$ over here to the UK and give me some of your plant magic🤣🤣
SOUL IS SO CUTE!!! DOES HE LIKE UR PLANTS? HE IS SO GOOD TO ALLOW U TO DO UR VIDEOS AND NOT BARK. IS THAT UR HUMIDIFIER? PLEASE, I NEED THE WEBSITE INFO.
Hey sorry for late reply. Soul doesn't really like the plants, he will only eat the Hibiscus tree I have outdoors sometime. I'm lucky that he doesn't really bark at all either lol. As far as the Humidifier, the brand is called "Kelopa" on Amazon.
never did know about this scalprum till now. yaaaasssss!!! for some reason my velvet is pushing a new leaf this time of year. learning so much about VPD vapor pressure density and its a game changer 🤯🧐🤓 is it just me learning this recently?🤦🏾♀️
whoops deficient sp? not density thats how much i don’t know 🤣😅 no worries I just peeped game too so I was feeling real behind. so many new leaves this winter and orchids bloom ruclips.net/video/aZOYnRmhR9I/видео.html
Great recommendations. I have been struggling with my philodendron splendid in and out of grow tent. Do you think it can be the genetics of that particular one. It's on a moss pole and just starting to attach but if it doesn't do something soon I'll buy one of yours 😀 in the spring.
Thank you. I have had a 2 Splendids in the past that put out bad looking leaves while small. The issue corrected itself once it grew a few more leaves. Genetics could be an issue, but I normally hear stories of how Splendids progress. I'll have them listed in March. Appreciate your support.
I learned to just give my smaller cuttings Systemic in the potting media. (Prevent non visual pest). That product is controversial, so I didn’t mention or promote it in video. But any airy potting mix and bright LED lights really get them started strong. Tying it to a good moss pole early makes it established as well.
@Aroid District I will do that. I have added systemic to my indoor plants. I live in Florida and the bugs are serious here! Moss pole is next after I acclimate it. Thanks!
Lol, I did have to cut and start one of my Splendids over. Had to do the same with that Majestic too. My Majestic gets some kinda deficiency in some of the leaves.

Exactly! I really think they are the easiest type of Aroid plants that I have right now.
That scalprum is 🔥🔥🔥 I’ve had my eye on that for a min
I enjoyed seeing your fur baby too! I have a pittie as well.❤️
Nice! I appreciate you watching.

Nice! That moss pole is the way to go for those. Appreciate you tuning in.
I’m going to steal your Hoya tree idea! ❄️💚🙃
LOL I've been waiting for someone else to make one. Hopefully I can see yours if you do.
Love your Hoya tree

Yep! Quite a few new plant varieties hit the market as well.
I definitely need to get a Summer Glory. Yours looks beautiful.

Thanks for the information.
Also this was a stress reliever 😅
Oh wow, thank you! I completely understand the stress…as I’m typing in the dark during a power outage LOL.
Great options for under 50 Dave. Also, your plants are looking great man. I am sure they are going to really shine this growing season
Thanks! I'm looking forward to Anthurium blooms. Hopefully this will be the yr I make my own Hybrid lol.

I think it depends on what part of the country you live in as to the price your going to pay.❄️💚🙃
Everything I mentioned is referring to Online sources, rather than local shops. So the price is same nationwide.
@@AroidDistrict Thank you very good to know, because here locally I can’t find anything worthwhile.❄️💚🙃
Good one bro
Thanks!

Any recommendations on how to grow the splendid as a small plant? I just got one for about $20 on etsy. Yours is absolutely stunning!
