I've waited so long for the fourth album... I'm super excited to hear the music from XV, but also to finally have Battle With The Four Fiends in my playlist.
You could have had Battle with the Four Fiends in your playlist years ago. It's the same arrangement as the one performed on the Final Fantasy Orchestral Album back in 2012.
I am loving this collection! Battle With the Four Fiends brought me right back to my childhood. (FFIV was my introduction to the RPG genre, and while it's not my favorite, it holds a special place in my heart for that reason.)
So the only new orchestra arrangements are JENOVA Complete, Festival of the Hunt, and Cosmo Canyon? Four Fiends Battle, Dalmasca Estersand, Phantom Forest, The Oath, FFV Main Theme, Legend of Eternal Wind, are arrangements from past FF orchestral albums. I was really hoping there would be more new arrangements that i can't find on an older album.
I loved all of this except: Somnus. The violin feature....was dry and lacking character. The accompaniment was great. The piano was phenomenal. But the violinist....it could have had more care and passion. But thank you so much for the upload. Nostalgia for ages.
