currently doing a complete analysis on the entire merveilles album and i just got to vers elle. came back here as quick as i could because i remembered it had it's own film as well
currently only 8 and a half minutes in and i've written about just everything seen so far. there's already a lot of symbolism and i believe one scene here could be the reason why illuminati might not exactly be so out of place in the album unlike what i previously thought.
update! the exact tarot card set that is shown in this movie is the Medieval Scapini Tarot By Luigi Scapini. i believe the cards that are shown when fortune teller/psychic(?) közi is revealing the stuff are the empress, the high priestess, four of coins, strength, the fool, and death
continuing to work on this right now. for now i've just referred to the members as their specific roles and all. like gackt being the protagonist, yu~ki being the butler, and so on. also, i noticed that what kami shows when slitting his wrist in front of gackt at that place is in the exact same way that the performer in that dream (közi) did to himself. once i finish these notes i'll try to make a separate set of notes so i can exactly figure out what's going on with scenes like this. but for now i'll just assume it's some sort of revelation thing.

wow I haven't watched this since like 2008! I remember I didn't enjoy it much because it's sad but mostly because of all the veins cutting/blood sight x_x I averted my eyes this time as it shocked me the first time I watched, though it was okay in Bara no Konrei because it was less "blatant" and better scened, idk how to epxlain...but here it was too graphic for me...anyway the music is beautiful I had forgotten about it! and i didn't know the track names were in french :3 I thought they sounded accurate until I saw some franponais XD but it's a nice effort! thank you for the share !

That is as a result of his perilous and frantic horse ride through rough terrain. A little overdone but still plausible.

i thought there was some kind of curse or something which is why the jester slit his wrists too. Maybe to do with the tarrot cards.
