I build custom bikes, so I follow quite a few different builders and builds, some are absolutely phenomenal. But guess what! None of them can hold a candle to Allen and his abilities.
I think you are wrong. I think he is the global treasure! He has got to work with one of those motorcycle manufacturers to produce his dream model. He must have great ideas for several. ;-) My deepest respect to you!
You sir have achieved my lifelong dream. Back in the 80s I had a garage full of every kind of bike I could get my hands on I always wanted to do the sort of things that you're doing, but I got myself wrapped up in the construction bizz instead. Breaks my heart. Never too late, they say.
You are not from this planet Mr Millyard !! That IS meant as a compliment. Your engineering knowledge and skills are without comparison. I cannot even get my head around how you build these amazing machines. As mentioned below, please allow Discovery channel or similar to film one of your future projects. Saw you at Ally Pally last week and your presentation and startup of the 6 cylinder was the absolute highlight of the show for me. Thank you for sharing your projects with us mere mortals
This guy if from another planet he is just amazing his videos are fantastic what a gift he has got the way he describes things in his videos makes it look and sound simple what a genius 🇬🇧👍🏻
This bike is like a Faberge egg of the motorcycle world, or a top end Swiss watch. If only the manufacturers would provide us with beautiful things like these instead of playing safe. I really like the way that Allen makes them look like factory bikes not a man in his shed specials. THAT is the real genius of all the bikes he does in my eyes.
That's gorgeous, Allen. How I wish we could have had the 250cc production Honda 4 that you had to work with. I made a Honda replica fashioned after the little 125 twins they used in the early '60s, basis was a CB-160. Used a CR93 fuel tank and other cr bits and had a fibreglass fairing which all came out rather nice. I also drilled the extra holes in the rear hub spoke flanges to look "factory" which looks to be what you did with the CB72 hub as well.
I hope your neighbours fully appreciate what they are hearing when you wheel that out and fire it up. About 6 o'clock in the morning would be about right😂
Very nice work. I like in particular how much thought you have put into each process and then added an option to later on swap the gear selector and the brakes over at a future time. Inspirational. ;)
Brilliant man Allen! A true engineer, artist, artisan… i keep shaking my head seeing how you make it look very easy, machining all the components 👏👏👏. Yes you are a national treasure. How much, if you do consider selling it for..? Not that i can afford it ..
When i watched the old video of you cutting those Kawasaki crankcases in half with a hacksaw.....and you firing it up hours later. I had to pinch myself..
That is such a beautiful sounding machine, your work is beyond exceptional sir!! One could only wish to learn half of what you know in a life time clearly. And your ss250 with the kx250f motor is such a thing of beauty!! I would love something like that to rip around where I live lol
I wonder what the conversation would be like if Allen Millyard Fred Dibnah and Guy Martin all got together to talk about engines, all of them are or were in Fred's case humble guys with a encyclopedia of engineering knowledge between them.
I would love to see start to finish construction of these bikes. Do you cast your own crankcases, barrels etc. What about crankshafts and camshafts and so on...
Hello Allen what an amazing machine engineered by yourself ..... Where did you get the fairing decals from ? Also do you plan on making another in depth walk around ?😁👍
Like to see how he did the cylinder head on that . seen the super six . doe anyone know how many valves the little six has ? From the pistons looks like four per cylinder .
The OEM cases are cut and welded with two four cylinder engines making one six. The left-over parts go into another project. Allen has shown how he does engines with roller bearing cranks. He has not (yet) shown how he does one-piece cranks. They would have to be cut, keyed and welded. A job demanding extreme metal working skills.

I had an old kz900 that I had punched out and hot rodded. Had a Yamaha 750 trip, but the real fun toy was a 78 rd400. Damn that thing was fast.

Beautiful, stunning...... We are in awe of your engineering abilities.

Absolutely stunning work
Absolutely beautiful Alan, very nice work 😊

Excellent work Allen you really show us what a little bit of blood sweat and gears can do!

Its what Honda did for Mike Haillwood who preferred RH shift, so I copied the option on my RC374
I’m honestly shocked you only have 9k subscribers this is perfection at a new level
Im making new videos about my bikes soon for a regular upload maybe that will encourage new subscribers
Yes, I was thinking the same. What Allen does is beyond unbelievable!
Classy Classic by a Master Motorcycle Magician!....Amazing!...

Correction, global treasure 👍
TT 100's, can you still get them? I always had those in the '70s.
You're Magic sir!
Neil is certainly a master painter!!

That was 21 years ago and yes it was running in 9 hours over the show week end

Mind boggling work Allen 🤕🤯

Amazing! You.sir are a genius! 👌👌👍👍😍
Very cool...glad I found this channel and subscribed
I will be making some new more detailled videos soon.
Beautiful work Allen.
Stunning work!

I like your idea of the plugs in the carbs.. They fit snug!
Fire it up Allen! I’m looking forward to hearing that making noise!
@po18guy amazing work
What sort of people would dislike this, they boggle the mind .
very nice millyard
Videos increíbles saludos desde argentina
Bet your neighbours love you Allen.
Allen, How many hours/week do you devote to research, development, and fabrication of these fabulous works of art?
What a wizards.
Me lembrou as "Benelli 900 Sei"................Parabéns!!!!!!!
Mike Hailwoood would have loved this
WOW, finest brain in the country! You should run for PM Allen :)
Absolutely amazing 👌

Fine Human Mr Millyard !!!
Fantastic thanks for sharing 👍🇦🇺👀
I’m not familiar with this gentleman, does he restore old bikes or create replicas? This bike is beautiful!
I saw that you are about to post another video on this work of art. I wonder if Greta will complain about that beautiful noise!
Hands of the messiah
now I"m wishing you would do a run of points covers, my dear cb550 would absolutely love one (as would I)
Hello Allen what an amazing machine engineered by yourself ..... Where did you get the fairing decals from ? Also do you plan on making another in depth walk around ?😁👍
Brilliant!
Hi Allen..... have you done any videos on how you made the fairing, I would love to see how you made it 😊👍.... thanks Mark
hey allen, i was wondering what you found the most difficult thing that youve done to make this bike
Sorry for being ignorant, what's the doner motor, motors. Al,you are a genius!
Beuatifull. Please show more details on next videos
I’m making a new vid on my rc374 soon

Amazing 🍀👍
Can you please show some of your casting process I'm interested in building a V8 from two yzf600 motors.kove your work insperationl stuff.
he didnt cast its welded...

Lets hear it
Allen how do you do it??
Genius.
did you fabricate the exhaust yourself Allen
Allen, what thickness of aluminum did you use for the fairing?
1.6mm
Clever guy
How did you get the measurements of the frame correct? Both the diameter of the tubes as well as the dimensions ?
I scaled them up from a model makers guide book and original photos
Allen Millyard I have that same book but wouldn’t know diameters of the frame just by looking at them. I think your build on that bike was fantastic.
Alan can you whip up a v8 two stroke, 1500 cc Kawasaki two stroke next.
Originally right hand gearchange - interesting
A V-Twin or parallel Twin Manx please Allen!
Does it have a battery?
yes
Why is the sound level on your videos so low?
It does surprise me you have stuck with points ignition, rather than electronic
The early original Honda six had points ignition
oi allen has mr honda approch you and said wot the hell you playing at ..
Brilliant !
