*Let's be honest* It's a german crowd and a TV performance, it's so often that you can't hear everything from the crowd in that kind of performances... yes the audience was dead but even if not, you can't hear much from them in a TV recording performance.
As a german i can say that the echo event was mostly visited by more mature or elderly people, some who maybe never listened to katy perry in their lives, so that‘s why they were quiet
Even if you are half dead retirement home , Uschi Glass die hard fan this sexy, rythmic,electric performance should at least move you to clap if not for anything else , just out of common courtesy for professional performer who are giving all out. At glance it has to be more than half of them in 30s and40s especially those with phone cameras. There is no excuse really for those lifeless deadbeats. In history of shittiest audience this is Weltmeister shittiest of all.

AMAZING PERFORMANCE, HORRIBLE CROWD. if i were there, i would have gotten thrown out for the amount of noise i would make. i still have my pwt videos, and you can hardly hear Katy's voice over my screams lmao. DEAD AUDIENCE AF. and i love the little dance interlude thingy she does before the bridge, because she''s been doing it in the POM performances since the beginning, and still does it to this day
I hate it when people just stand, filming with their phones and not doing anything else. When I go to concerts I don't film that much on my phone, because I want to stay pressent in the moment and enjoying the performance. Something you can't do (in my opinion) if you are just filming the performance on your phone. :)
In my experience if u leave your phone in your hand recording and ignore it/don’t look through it, it doesn’t take away from the experience. The video probably won’t be that good, it might end up uncentered or your fingers in the shot, but that’s enough for me to kickstart my memory. Personally I actually regret not filming performances, bc I tend to forget major parts.

People, it's a TV show which you have to know before criticising her, not a rock concert, the audience CAN'T go crazy there. Katy's great here, I love her super energy and the way she sings this song. Since I've been to her shows many times I love her stage appearances even more! 💜💜💜
