Believe me, when I was hearing it live from the radio, it was even more amazing. It's like she was singing directly to our ears and we could hear every notes, every pitch in her voice. Absolutely WOW
She sounds a bit like Jessie J on some notes she sings. Good perf btw

Good on her for actually doing this live with no pitch correction (Auto Tune)! Many performing artists would not even attempt this because they are nothing without the vocal effects and post production correction. Katy Perry has some actual talent.

I'm also glad she has fun on stage :) One of the reasons I love seeing her performances.

Katy is the definition of perfection. there's no words to describe how much i love her. i am proud of being a KatyCat.
A lot of stars use them when they're on live tv :) It is used to either help with timing in case they can't her a backing track, so they know where they are in the song or it's used so the stars that tend to ad lib don't do it too much. Tv programs have specific timings to run to, so it keeps the stars on track...And of course they might need reminding of lyrics in certain circumstances :)
This is not perfect, but really? so many bad comments?
This performance is so true and emotional for a catchy pop song, and I think that's what music is all about, give your heart to the audience.
I don't understand, if you want to hear flawless voices, why are listening to pop music?
Pop music, is catchy, commercial, kinda overproduced, and it has that "visual thing" going on, she is just doing it right, she is just doing it better then anyone else right now.
