yes there is a lots of scope when prestigious institute like IIT gives admission to PCM students on basis of JEE instead of PCB/PCMB students with NEET ! Also very less payscale for PhD students in India too in Biotechnology in IITs and research institutes !

There is no scope in biotechnology because you need money for the scope. I did msc and there is no job for it. Look abroad for jobs that are still uncertain but that costs money I don't have. They should not encourage fields if they cannot provide worth from the field.
I have completed my btech biotechnology and I am regretting this degree. You will end up in agriculture based companies or IT companies also it is hard to find colleges having mtech biotechnology degree but you can always go with msc biotechnology.

@@shhh6I never said biotechnology has no scope, I clearly said being a research oriented field a biotech graduate with just UG can't earn like other graduates and for such earnings one has to complete MTech/ MSc from a top research institution atleast and to earn well one has to complete PhD from a top research institution, this is the reality and there is nothing in demotivating you, commenting something insane shows your level of understanding, so grow up and reach heights.
